"Yeah, I know. I wish someone could do something about it, but it seems impossible" she said with a sigh, knowing it was safe to say so because the mafia had just left their car. "Maybe things will change one day. One can only hope.."

"Sure hope it's soon," he said in agreement, nodding. This was halfway driving him insane; where had he seen this girl before? She seemed more familiar the more he talked to her.

The train screeched to a stop. This wasn't her stop, but the next one would be hers. She didn't live that far from home, she just wouldn't walk home on account of the danger of that. The mafia would be just fine with taking over someone on their own, and for no particular reason. "Mine is the next stop" she mentioned.

"This is mine," he said, standing. "It was nice meeting you," he smiled. "Maybe we'll bump into each other again next week," he chuckled, waving to her, and walked off the train, putting his hands in his pockets as he walked up the stairs to exit the subway tunnels.

"Nice meeting you too" she called out to him, and stayed sitting till her stop came up. It wasn't much farther than his, but she wouldn't let herself think about that. She knew that she knew him now. She didn't often just start up conversations with people, especailly people that she had never met.

All the way to his house, Alec thought about where he could have seen her before, and if he had. He knew he hadn't seen her at school. Maybe the market, or in the subway before? But her voice sounded familiar, too... Jeeze, where had he seen her before? It was driving him absolutely insane.

He reached his front door and unlocked it, walking in and shutting the door behind him, heading towards the kitchen to get something to eat.

Sanura made it home in one peice and was a bit distracted when her parents talked to her. They had asked what was up, but she only shook her head. Dinner was okay, but a little akward. She knew it was because she was acting strange. "Hey mom, do you mind if I just go ahead and head to my room for now?" she asked her mom when she finished her food. Her mom gave her a strange look but said yes. She headed up to her room quietly.

Alec finished his own dinner and made sure his homework was done correctly, and then double-checked all of it before he got into the shower.

Sanura went into her room and turned on the TV, that was a bit outdated and only had like HD. She watched it, bored, trying to keep her mind off of things as she watched it. She eventually drifted to sleep, TV still on and all. Even the light stayed on, and her mom eventually came in and turned everything off before shutting the door.

Once Alec got done with his shower and got dressed, he yawned, crawling into his bed. Eventually falling asleep, he dreamt of his past life, yet again. Not that he knew it was his last life.

In his dream, he smiled at her, the same girl. Only it wasn't her, and it wasn't his time. It was long ago, in a forest, during (what must have been) peaceful times. She smiled so happily, it made him smile, too.

Sanura drifted to sleep, and went almost immediately into her dreams. There seemed to be a forest all around, and she smiled at the guy she saw so often in her dreams. He reminded her of the guy she had seen today, but he didn't seem to be him exactly. Her smile widened when she saw him smile, and she walked over to him slowly.

His smile broadened at the girl as she walked towards him in his dream. He took a few steps towards her and took her hands in his, gazing at her lovingly. Alec didn't know who this girl was, but it seemed right that they should be together like this. She was dressed beautifully, in (what looked like) clothes that royalty would wear. The tunic fit her perfectly, and her skirt billowed in the wind; it made him think of an angel.

She laughed slightly, her eyes gleaming. She held on to his hand tightly, and did a short spin before facing him again. He was handsome as she had always rembered him to be. He seemed like a picture of perfecion to her, and she felt a love towards him that she found hard to explain.

He smiled happily at her, his heart leaping in his chest at seeing her again. "I've missed you," he heard himself murmur to the girl. "You look as lovely as ever, perhaps more so," he smiled.

She smiled at him softly. "I've missed you too, like the plants miss the rain after an oh so long draught" she whispered, and pulled him into a hug. She had really missed him so, and seemed to miss him even more at time he was away from her.

He smiled and wrapped his arms around her, burying his face in her hair. "We'll meet soon," he told her. "Can you sense it? Something's going to happen, love. Sometime soon."

She nodded, burying her face into the crook of his neck. "I can sense it well enough. I can wait till it happens, whatever 'it' is going to be" she replied softly. She couldn't wait to see him again and have it last longer than just the night.

He held her close, listening to the wind in the trees around them. "I hope they know what to do about it," he murmured softly, to her.

Her eyes met his and she nodded. "I'm sure they will. I'm mean, they'll have to. It's up to them this time to set things right..." She gave him a kiss and turned away as the dream was ending. Sanura sat up and rolled over to turn off her alarm clock.

He kissed her back, sighing sadly as he turned away, reluctantly ready to be trapped back in the subconsciousness of the boy.

Sanura could remember bits and pieces of her dream, such as a llittle bit of the conversation and seeing that guy again. She now knew where she remembered him from. But what in the world had they been talking about? She shrugged, knowing she would just have to see him again. Maybe her imagination was getting ahead of itself, to make something out of such a dream. She got out of bed and began getting ready to go to work again.

Alec woke up to his own alarm clock and groaned, reaching over and slamming his hand down on it. He remembered some of his dream, mainly the beginning where they met and the end, where they had to part. He didn't remember any of the conversation, however, which was normal. He sighed, getting up and getting ready for the day, wondering why he'd dreamt of the girl on the subway, finally realizing that he recognized her because he dreamt about her.

Sanura made her way to the bathroom. She first took a shower, then brushed her hair and let it air dry as she put on her makeup, clothes, and shoes. She headed out the door with a granola bar in hand. She would be getting to school a few minutes early, but she didn't mind. She would head to work after that, taking the easy to reach subway.

Alec walked to school, which wasn't far from his house, only about five blocks. His school uniform on, none of the mafia looked at him suspiciously as he walked past them, staring strait ahead.

SAnura yawned as she passed some of the mafia near her school. Some gave her a look-over, as if they saw her as someone to be suspicious of, but they didn't stop her. She went into the school with a sigh. Another day of school. She went straigh to class after getting her things from her locker, and sat quietly with the rest of the class. It was to be expected, considering that the mafia were usually the teachers. Very few weren't. She guessed that they thought it was best to teach kids early to be around them, and see them as an authority figure. The teacher walked in, gun in holster and all, and began class.
