Jarred shook his head. "No, it's nothing. Don't worry about it." he said as he ate. Hunter chuckled. "In a way it defines how you live your life...and so far, it seems you're pretty tough."

"Werewolves have to be tough to put up with us," Elizabeth grinned, teasing.

Jarred grinned. "Yeah, as you can see I already survived putting up with you especially." he joked, Hunter clearing his throat. He too was firm on the belief that hunter and the hunted could never be together.

Elizabeth rolled her eyes at Hunter and grinned innocently at Jarred.

"Lizzy, dear. Why don't you go show Jarred how much you've improved," Sara chuckled.

"Sure. After he's done digesting his food, of course. I wouldn't want him to get a belly ache," she laughed.

Jarred grinned, shaking his head. "Nah, I've done worse. Let's go on ahead then." he smirked, raising a challenging brow to Elizabeth.

She grinned and went upstairs to change, pulling her cloak on over her hunter clothes. She came downstairs as she was tying her hair back and pulled the hood over her head. "Ready," she grinned, walking out the back door, heading to the woods.

Jarred blinked as he was surprised by how fast she changed. "Well then, out I go." he said, smiling towards her parents and almost smirking at Hunter as he left the room. He went outside, clearing his throat. "So, should I turn then?" he called out with a grin.

"Wait until you reach the trees. Whatever will the neighbors think," she teased, laughing.

"Whatever will you want to see?" Jarred teased back as he reached the trees in order to change.

She grinned, excited about getting to move around, use every single one of her muscles. She didn't get the chance to use them often, not in combat. It excited her.

"Oh hush, you old pervert," she teased, deciding to go on the defensive first and letting him strike while she dodged.

Jarred of course took only a few minutes compared to just half an hour like before to turn. He had done it so much that his body was used to the strain again. He then huffed, breathing heavily as he once more began to track. He howled, his excitement growing as he charged towards her location.

Elizabeth grinned excitedly and quickly ran out of the way of his path, then jumped on his back, clinging to his fur.

Jarred blinked, stopping and suddenly confused. "Hm?" he huffed playfully trying to shake her off.

She grinned, holding on tight. He'd have to smash himself into a tree to get her off.

Jarred growled, moving about roughly and not wanting to hurt her by that method. "Do you want all the strength or what?" he teased as he was threatening to throw her against the tree.

"How else will you see how I've grown," she teased back, grinning in acceptance of his challenge.

Jarred grunted, slamming her into the tree as she hoped he would. He couldn't just let her have her way because of their friendship. He continued to use all his strength, only planning to knock the breath out of her and knowing that a hunter only had so much stamina.

She rolled off of his back as she felt his weight shift towards the tree, though he managed to crush one of her fingers. She ignored the pain of her shattered finger bones and rammed her elbow into his ribs while he was still up against the tree.

Jarred growled, ready to snap at her hand as her elbow made impact against his ribs. He growled again, charging at her and making it his goal to slam his head into her body, enough to have her fall to the ground and not even get up. He knew he hurt her finger, but she obviously wanted to prove something.

She managed to almost cling to his muzzle as he slammed his head into her chest, but the breath was knocked out of her and she slumped to the ground, trying to get her heartbeat back to normal and air into her lungs.

Jarred hung over her, panting himself as he pressed his muzzle against her cheek. "Still want to fight?" he questioned, staring into her eyes with fierce determination.

She nodded, holding up a finger to ask him to wait until her breathing was back to normal. Once it was, she stood and nodded to him. "Let's continue," she said, taking out her blade.

Jarred grunted, backing away as the blade was unsheathed. "You're serious?" he asked, huffing as he stared at the weapon she held in her hand.

"Obviously defense isn't going to work against you," she said and thought better of keeping her blade unsheathed. She put it back in it's sheathe and untied it from her waist. She'd use the sheath to keep from giving him more scars. "So yes, I am serious."

Jarred growled, pushing out of his head what she was to him: a friend. He might as well see just how far she went while he was gone. He wouldn't be here forever after all. He barked, charging at her and ready to aim towards her middle, hoping this would be enough to knock her to her senses.
