Matthew then took advantage, ravashing her without mercy. Honestly thinking that he could live without a mate was something foolish that he may never think as such again. He couldn't ever imagine not being without Jasmine, it was pure insanity. It wasn't his world.

She didn't care anymore. She didn't care if he was an asshole. She didn't care if he wasn't used to having a mate. She didn't care if he killed her again (as long as he brought her back). She didn't care if she saw ten million more rivers of blood. As long as she knew he cared and she could have him like this, she'd put up with anything that came her way. Moments like this were worth all the pain and horribleness that came with this new world he'd introduced her to.

After the whole ordeal (which he wouldn't complain about) Matthew held her in his arms, his hand rubbing her arm mindlessly as he thought more and more about being away from her. To think, already a rogue came into their facility so easily..What about then? When the warriors are all gone? Well, they'd have to get one to stay with them. That he hoped for, but he figured it wouldn't slide with Lucan. He wanted all the best and the rest following.

Jasmine laid happily in his arms, content and a little sleepy. "You should stop thinking so much and just enjoy the moment," she murmured softly, nuzzling into his chest. She could feel his contemplative mood and worry.

Matthew grunted again, already seeing that it was an answer used too often with his mate. He sighed, nodding. "I can't help it..It's like I'm involving you again in this war...just a night ago you were this close to death..because of me. Why teach you how to use your powers to risk that again?"

"So you don't have to worry about protecting me so much," she said softly. "I'm your mate, Matthew. These moments are worth all the danger and blood."

Matthew chuckled, looking down at her and staring. He could already imagine the tears if he were not to return alive. God, it gave him such pain. "Then...once it turns dark since it's around..6 am, I'll take you out on a run, ok?" he said, caressing her cheek.

She smiled up at him softly and nuzzled his hand. "'Kay. Do I get all day with you, then? Or will the boys steal you away again," she asked, half teasing.

Matthew chuckled, kissing her head. "Yeah you'll have me all day. They're gone either with their mates or training elsewhere. You have me all to yourself." he said, nuzzling her cheek with his head.

She giggled, being tickled by his hair, and hugged him, kissing him.

"Now...sleep?" Matthew grunted, sighing. With her, he wanted a lot, but for now, he wanted to recharge for tonight. "Pleeease!" he whined playfully, biting her ear gently.

She chuckled and nodded. "Okay, okay. Let's get some sleep," she smiled, nuzzling close to him.

Matthew sighed happily, acting like a child which is rare for him. He snuggled her under the covers and closed his eyes. "Night...for me anyway." he chuckled, going to sleep.

She chuckled and cuddled close to him. "Night," she whispered, falling asleep as well with a soft smile on her lips.

Just as the time ran well into four pm, Matthew was already up and awake as he was getting dressed. He also had been looking at his weapons, sharpening and also shining them. He chuckled, looking over at the sleeping beauty in his bed, a bit proud of who he had as his mate. Still, she was more than that. He sighed, thinking of places he could take her where it may be easiest.

Jasmine woke up to the sounds of him sharpening his weapons. "What the hell," she mumbled, burying her face in the pillow. She stretched, waking up the rest of the way and opened her eyes groggily. "What's making all that racket..." she asked, yawning.

Matthew smirked, raising a brow. "Well baby, the sounds of my weapons. But you need to start getting up too, gotta prepare." he said, chuckling as she looked like a child not wanting to go to school.

She grumbled and sat up, rubbing her eyes as she tried to file through her brain to figure out what they were doing today. "Oh, right," she said, waking up instantly and jumping out of bed, then had to stop and think again. "Uhm... Do I need to wear anything specific...?"

Matthew stared at her, as if the answer had to be obvious. "Something that won't get in the way. More likely something tight but protective." he said, getting up as he fastened his belt which was thicker than usual leather.

She nodded and looked through the clothes she had, finding nothing that fit that explination. She had tight clothes, yes, but they were thin fabrics.

Matthew grunted. "I guess we'll...have to make due. You'll get some customed later, ok?" he said, shrugging as he handed her one of his thickest jackets that buttoned down.

She nodded and put on his top, putting on a pair of yoga pants and hoping they were at least somewhat protective. At least they were easy to move in, unlike jeans. She pulled her hair back in a ponytail on the back of her head and looked at him. "Where are we going, exactly?"

"Eh, downtown. Just a local club..Crimson?" Matthew said, knowing that she may have heard of it. But still, he wasn't sure whether he heard of what the drug does to breed warriors.

"Crimson," she asked, frowning. Why did that sound familiar? "Is that the name of the club? I've heard it somewhere... Oh! It's one of those things that Lisa mumbled. The only word I got out of it was 'crimson'. What is it?"

Matthew then raised a brow. Lisa mentioned Crimson? She knew about the drug. Interesting..maybe there's a link with the rogue getting in here that could solve a lot. "Huh...it's a drug. Drives us who are stupid enough to take it to blood lust, like..directly. Doesn't take more than a few hits. It's a horrible drug..and I just can't figure out why our younger breed vampires are even taking to that.."
