Jasmine frowned, not liking the sound of that. "Does it have an affect on humans," she asked, wondering if she were immune to it. A rogue in his right mind could use it against them.

Matthew scoffed, nodding. "Yeah, kind of gives them a high like..angel's dust or something. Gives them a blood lust but turns breed into rogues. It's insane, I know. Gives the human crazy strength and just makes them..like a rogue, except I guess you could make them as milder than a rogue itself." he said, shaking his head. It was an audacity, what this one human, Ben Sullivan, had done to the world.

"How many people have the formula and resources to make it," she asked, hoping it wasn't that many and they were easily found by the vampires she lived with.

"Only one did, a Mr. Ben Sullivan. But this guy, Chase, blew him off. Kind of attacked the guy and he escaped being thought of as dead. Rogues and their leader, Marek (right? O_O), got ahold of him. Most likely they're still searching for the formula. Dante and his mate have no clue whether or not that thing is still hanging around. Still, you never know. Could be remade." Matthew explained, shaking his head.

"The Rogues have a leader," she asked. "I thought they were all lost to bloodlust and didn't have the sense to organize..."

"This guy isn't a vampire. He's a gen one, like Lucan. They're brothers." Matthew said, sighing. It was a sad and angering truth. The man had no shame.

Jasmine's eyes went wide. "That's horrible..."

"Yeah, so..you can imagine why Lucan is so keen on killing Marek. He's a monster." Matthew said, going to the door. "Anyways, let's get going."

She nodded and followed him to the door.

Matthew then took her out to the town again. He decided to make a long trip to the south end of the town, knowing there'd be at least one or two houses or so full of rogues. This part was dead, mostly drug addicts. "So, you ready?" he asked as he was driving on.

She nodded, tense and ready. She was also a little scared, but she ignored that part as best she could. She had to toughen up and stop whining all the time. This was the world she was supposed to be in; she had to stop complaining and put up with it.

As soon as they stopped, one could feel the tension and the eerie feeling in the place. They had stopped next to a house with it's windows broken in and of course, lots of things that were wrong with the home. There was even dried blood over the wooden boards of the front porch. It was too obvious. Matthew hissed quietly as he sensed a rogue and licked his lips. He couldn't wait to off some suckheads tonight. "Let's go.." he said, grabbing his blades and exiting the car.

Jasmine nodded, creeped out to the extreme by the place. She grabbed what he'd given her to borrow and got out of the car as well, staying close to him.

As soon as they began their trek through the neighborhood, many rogues began to swarm. Of course they were outnumbered, but if she used her skill right, then she could kick some serious ass. One rogue went straight at her. Of course, Matthew allowed such a move as he killed one that seemed to jump him at the same time. "Sloppy." he cursed at one, slamming the hilt of his blade into the forehead, making a crack and soon slicing through the jugular vein, enough to expose it to the toxins on his sword. "You better start moving girl!" he said to her as he covered her.

Jasmine tried to extend her killing touch through her blades in her hands, and it seemed to work as she sliced through the rogues. The killing touch stunned them long enough for her to cut deeper to get the poison of the metal into their systems to ensure their death.

Of course, that method worked well. Though Matthew had yet to see but he knew by the screams of many rogue. They were done much quickly than usual. Before they knew it, the area surrounding them was quite, for once. Matthew panted, blood staining his clothes and obviously only just a bit on Jasmine due to her extending her powers through the blade. "Impressive." he grinned.

Jasmine panted, sitting on her knees. "Thanks," she said, catching her breath. She really had to stay on her toes - vampires were much faster than humans, but they were hesitant in attacking after seeing the first one fall, which gave her enough time to move. "This is training, though, right? Any tips?"

"Be quicker, and don't just keel over to get some air into your lungs." Matthew said, helping her up with one hand and sighing as he closed his eyes for a moment. Everything was calm for now. "You ready for more?" he asked, ready to go all night.

She could tell he was hyped and ready for more. "I'll try," she breathed, standing. "I guess I don't have a choice," she said, halfway teasing him.

"That's only if you don't mind more blood on you." Matthew grinned, walking a bit further into the darker sides of town. "Just take it easy and breathe the right way. You know, through the nose and out of the mouth.

She nodded, following him, and started breathing the way he'd said.

Before the end of the night, they had to have killed at least over a hundred rogues. That wasn't a very low number for them both, but for Matthew, it could've been higher. Still, he didn't want to push her limits. Once they were done, he had checked over her for wounds. "Did they hurt you?" he asked as he looked all over.

"A few cuts. I'll live," she panted. She felt so out of shape right then it wasn't even funny. Then again, she was comparing herself to a vampire. "What about you?"

Matthew chuckled, kissing her cheek. "Let's go back then. You need a shower.." he said, grinning a bit at the thought. He picked her up, knowing she was probably sore as hell. He then carried her back to the car, enjoying the closeness they had at the moment.

She smiled, resting her head on his shoulder. "Is it scary that I actually had a little bit of fun," she asked him.
