She charged at him, head-on and jumped over him, slashing at his body with her sheathed sword at the points a wolf would be weak at - where he couldn't defend himself while running.

Jarred fell forwards, his snout digging into the dirt and yelping out in pain. He growled deeply and flipped around, staring at her as she was making another move at him. "Fast huh?" he said as he buckled but managed to make an impact with his head at her body.

She grinned and let out an "oooooff!" as his head collided with her body. She hit his cheekbone with her free hand and sword and tumbled backwards a few feet, catching a bit of the breath he knocked out of her with his big fat head before she got up and charged at him again.

Jarred managed then to capture the sheath in his jaws, threatening to break the damned weapon in half as he struggled to keep a hold on it.

[XD DJ has a big fat head that hurts. it's all bone lmfao. not fun when he accidently headbutts you. but he apologizes and gives you lots of kisses afterwards. he's adorable]

She growled and attempted to pull the sword out of his mouth.

Jarred growled, hearing the cracking of the sheath. It was thankfully a strong wood, but it seemed to be like paper under his teeth. "Don't think I'll give up easily, huntress." he muttered as he waved his head both left and right, making the whole object come away from her hands.

She growled at him and jumped onto his back, pulling on his ears to try to make him let go of her sword. She ignored the thoughts of how soft his fur was.

Jarred yelped, cringing and shaking underneath her. He was obviously in pain, seeing as those two ears were his most sensitive part of the body among other things. "Playing dirty eh?" he huffed, rolling himself over onto the dirt and almost crushing her under the weight of his massive body.

She grunted, struggling underneath him. She couldn't breathe, but she kept struggling.

Jarred could feel as if she was struggling to breathe, but she definitely did not want him to know that. "Give up. Give up before you pass out, woman."

"No," she said stubbornly, knowing she was wasting precious air. She kicked at him, her movements getting weaker as her muscles grew heavy. Her vision was growing splotchy, but still she fought. She finally blacked out.

Jarred finally got off once the struggle was over. He whimpered a bit, worried as he nuzzled her face with his snout. "Great..wake up now, come on.." he muttered, nuzzling her more.

She breathed as he got off of her. Once there was enough oxygen flowing through her body, she groaned. "Nose is cold," she mumbled, waking up.

Jarred sighed, nuzzling her more with his cold nose. "You alright? Nothing broken?"

She sat up slowly, testing every bit of her that was sore. "Nothing is broken," she said and pet his muzzle to reassure him. She grinned up at him. "You're heavy," she teased, poking his cold, wet nose.

Jarred grunted, pulling away and sneezing at her. "Whatever. It was enough to calm your silly hunting self down. Unfortunately I had to do that." he said, chuckling and sitting down on his hind legs.

She chuckled. "Obviously, I still need to improve some. In my defense, I'm still young and not many wolves come around," she said, laying back in the grass.

Jarred huffed. "Age has nothing to do with it. Well..maybe in your case." he joked, watching as she laid back down. "Though it's a good thing not many wolves come around these parts...that would mean catastrophe. They get very..territorial." he added, sighing.

"Yes, I figured," she sighed, relaxing in the grass and closing her eyes. "How do you like being alpha," she asked him after a minute or two.

Jarred grunted. He didn't particularly like it, but it was alright. Hassle, but it gave him purpose. "It's fine. Just..troublesome. Fights every once in a while that I have to control in order to regain order. It's silly." he explained, looking over at her. "How's hunting?"

She shrugged. "Not much to say. There is one pack nearby that has agreed to be our allies, in exchange for one cow a fortnight. They agreed to let it be from the butcher."

Jarred snickered. "A cow? Well then, they must be a small pack.." he chuckled, licking at his paw to keep the fur clean. "Either way, did I break anything?"

"A finger, but it'll heal," she said, looking at said finger.

Jarred huffed, nodding as he then stood and stretched. His back popped, but not in a bad way at least. He then stared up at the moon, watching it be surrounded by clouds. "We should get back.."

She nodded and stood. "What brought you back," she asked him curiously.
