Ruby blushed feeling his hands creeping upwards on her body, eventually squeezing her with a surprise grope. Her cheeks flushed and she breathed in softly, looking up at him with half lidded eyes. A soft blush lit her cheeks and she nodded her head. "We can be happy just being near one another." She knew that Dawson was curious about sex, especially since they had finally taken the plunge and gone to that level in their relationship. With that being said she was thankful that he was at least understand that she couldn't constantly be going at it, still being very shy about it.

Ruby sighed softly as she rested her head on his chest. "I don't want it to be just some game. It's very special to me- it would kill me if you just thought of me as some joke." she admitted, not being able to lie about that. As much as she loved Dawson she was afraid of being used by him, just as she would be with any other guy.

She gently caressed his cheek and smiled, brushing some of his hair from his eyes. "I love you too, Dawson. You aren't like any other person I've ever met and I don't want to live in a world without you." Nuzzling him she smiled contently and then cuddled underneath the blankets. Dawson smiled tiredly and cuddled her as he slowly drifted off.

When Ruby later woke up it was early in the morning, though not so early that a few certain nuns wouldn't be up and doing their chores. "Dawson," she said, shaking him by the shoulder. "Dawson, you need to wake up." It was already one thing that he had snuck out to go and see her but another thing to have spent the night at her house.

"You're going to be punished if you stay in my bed any longer!" she was still sleepy and was hardly thinkinh about what she was saying, obviously. "You're going to be in a lot of trouble!" She was just trying to warn him to run home as quickly as he could.

" Its fine ok? They'll forgive me for wanting to be myself once in a while" he said.

Ruby breathed in and nodded her head, "I guess so." She didn't agree with it and she also didn't like how he seemed to have changed now that they had consumated their relationship. A week later she had signed on to the peace corps and was on her way to South Africa. Maybe he would forgive her for being herself. She needed to find herself and to think about what she really wanted in a relationship.

Dawson was dpressed that she had left. He missed her like crazy. If the sisters thought he was distracted before now it was ten tims worse.

She understood that it hadn't been right for her to have left him so abruptly but at the same time she didn't care, she wasn't trying to vouch for the innocent victim. Whether or not Dawson would forgive her was not on her mind, what she chose to focus on right then was the present. Currently she was living in a small village that had not too long ago been ravaged by rebels. She was slowly starting to help heal the children and women as well as help teach them English.

Dawson wondered what he did so wrong. He moped around his room and he flopped on his bed starting at the wall. Maybe...he pushed her too much... he growled and put a pillow over his head. " Why do I always wreck things....." he bit his pillow in frustration.

Now that Jean was in Africa she was starting to get stronger now that her body had to get used to a newer, rougher terrain. She was starting to get stronger leg muscles as well as a healthy brown tan. The sun was starting bleach her hair blonde and she wondered to herself if people would even recognize her if she were to go back to Minnesota now.

Ahadi was one of the locals that was involved with the program. He translated many types of tribal language to English. Of course there were other 'translations' he was doing with Ruby. He was being her Tarzan. He typically acted curious about what she had to offer. Of course it was interesting. But he also liked playing ' innocent native' such as kissing her cheek or holding her hand to make sure she 'didn't step on a snake or something that could hurt her if she wasn't careful.
