Dawson felt like he was walking on air. He felt complete, in love, and manly. The love making in the shower had been great and left him in a good mood to go back to the church to do his day's chores. Of course now every second he was texting Ruby and his focus was on her. He was twitterpated as Friend Owl would say.

Ruby had offered to make him a big breakfast but he had declined, knowing that he would be recieving enough of the Sister's wrath already. She had mostly offered him breakfast because she assumed that after they had made love in the shower he would have been exhausted. She sighed softly to herself when he left and was constantly on her phone texting him back.

Dawson was hurrying with his chores. His mind was on her and he couldn't sstop thinking about her.

One of the Sisters was noticing this and raised a brow, annoyed by the fact that Dawson was rushing and therefore wasn't properly doing a lot of his chores. "Dawson," she said, stopping him and resting her hand on his shoulder. "You are worrying us. First you show up late in the morning without letting us know where you were and now you are just rushing through your chores without putting any effort into it."

Dawson blinked. " I'm sorry. " he said, "...its just....I think.. I think I'm in love." he said gently. " Ruby...." he said feeling his skin tingle when he said her name. She was just so wonderful.

The nun shook her head and sighed. "It isn't right for a growing boy like you to be so preoccupied on one girl. I would like for you to consider some time apart from this Ruby, to be honest. You haven't known eachother for very long yet you are already putting her before your duties." She didn't want to be mean, but she was worried about his well being.

He backed away from her. "..........No."" he shook his head.

"Dawson you cannot base your life off of one girl! You have duties that come before someone who you've barely known a month!" She shook her head and reached out for him, taking hold of his wrist. "I am not doing this to hurt you, I am not even telling you to never see her again. Just remember where your priorities lie."

As harsh as that sounded it was the truth. No one would have taken him, many would have left him to die. "Please understand that this is for your own moral upbringing. In the end if this girl were to find out the truth do you really think she would stay?"

"Do you really think that she will? Do you think that she'll accept you like we did?" They had taken a big chance by accepting a newly born vampire into the church, raising him as their own child. "She wasn't here for you like we were. We helped you when you wanted nothing more than blood. She hasn't sacrificed for you like we have."

Ruby noticed that he hadn't texted her in a while and wondered if there was anything wrong. She wanted to go see him but knew that eventually one thing would lead to another and she wouldn't be comfortable doing anything like that in a church. She texted him again, Are you alright?

Ruby was worried that the Sisters had learned the truth about what she and Dawson had done the night before (which they probably had.) Yes, I think that would be good for the both of us. They hadn't exactly planned the night before and it wasn't as if she was this siren who had torn his clothes off and stolen his innocence. They had loved one another.

Ruby was just getting into her pajamas when she heard a knocking at her window. Normally she would have been scared but she knew that it was Dawson. Walking over she opened the window and smiled seeing him. "Hey," she said, helping him through the window. "I know that you won't be able to stay as long as I'd like but I needed to see you." she murmured.
