"Oh, my..." Carmella murmurmed, pressing her hand to her bossom. "What a beautiful wardrobe..." Just as he had done for the kids, Darrick had built her something that was beautiful with his own two hands. Walking over to the wardrobe, she ran her hand along the side, enjoying the feel of the unqiue carvings that Darrick had created.

Darrick came up " you like it"

Carmella smiled and nodded her head. "I love it." she said softly, running her fingers along the delicate designs. "You must have worked so hard to make this. And I didn't even notice it." She had been spending a lot of time in the woodshed lately, considering that Darrick was now starting to teach her hown to carve things and make toys.

" I had it hidden in the basement. I had it done months ago. I knew I had to work on your present really early so you wouldn't notice." he said as he sat on the bed and then layed back yawning.

Carmella turned around and laughed softly. "You aren't tired already, are you?" she asked, resting her hands on her hips. It was still very early in the morning and it was Christmas! There was so much that needed to be done! Especially with two hyperactive, six year old twins and a baby. Walking over to the bed, she nudged his foot with her hand before gently tugging on his leg to get him off the bed.

Darrick whinned at her and pulled her down ontop of him and smiled. He leaned up at kissed her lovingly. " Merry Christmas, my love."

Her breathe seemed to catch in her throat and she breathed in softly. "Merry Christmas, Sweetheart." she murmured, softly kissing his cheek. The day went on peacefully and everyone was happy. At the end of the day, Carmella finally decided that it was the appropriate time and with Darrick's help told both of the twins that soon they would have another little sister or brother.

Darrick held her hand, " Lizzy, Damien...we have something to tell you"

Carmella smiled softly. "Your father and I learned earlier today that in nine months there will be a new little boy or girl living in this house." She explained to the twins that she was pregnant and just like when Clover had come to live with them, this did not mean that the twins would be forgotten. It only meant that their family was bigger and stronger.

" Why isn't he or she here now?" Damien said.

Carmella laughed softly. "Why are you so curious?" she asked, pulling up her oldest son into her arms. Sitting him on her lap, she smiled down at him. "Your new little sibling isn't here right now because they aren't ready to come and live with us just yet. But they soon will be, alright?" she assured him, smiling gently at him.

" Where are they? And why don't you know if they're a boy or a girl?" he asked.

"That's just the way things are, Sweetie." Carmella said thoughtfully. "There are some things that parents cannot tell their children. If you keep asking mommy about it, then mommy is going to die." she added, cringing on the inside at her blatant lie. He was too young to be discussing the birds and the bees with. Maybe when he was older.

" Nooooo" He cried clinging to her tightly.

Carmella sighed softly and rubbed his back util he stopped crying. "It's alright, it's alright." she murmured softly, kissing the top of his head. "Mommy isn't going anywhere, alright? Just... no more talk of how the baby is getting here, ok? Just be happy that soon you'll have another little sister or brother." she said kindly, smiling at him.

He nodded whimpering.

Carmella sighed. "Oh, Damien." she murmured, rubbing his back. While she did not want to get into the difference between men and women with a six year old, she also did not want him crying during the last few hours of Christmas. "Nothing is going to happen to Mommy. And it's a good thing to be curious. Man kind would be far, far back if people didn't stop and ask questios. I'm just not comfortable in explaining to you where babies come from. Not in the detail that you want, anyway. All that I can say is that babies are made when a mommy and a daddy love eachother very much."

Damien nodded holding onto her still.

Darrick chuckled softly, " You'll understand someday what we mean but for now when mommy and daddy love each other alot a baby shows up from thier love."

" So...me and Lizzy are twins....you and mommy must love each other very very much then." Damien said.

" thats right. You two are very special" he smiled.

" What about clover?" Damien asked.

" Same thing. " Darrick said.

" She looks nothing like you or mommy" he said.

" Well sometimes the stork comes and visits because of how good mommy and daddy have been and reward us with a child" he said.

" Ohhh. But she's still our sister right?" he said.

" Of course she is. She has the same blood as you do." Darrick said.

" Oh ok!" Damien smiled.

Clover was up asleep in her crib by then, but Carmella knew that there was still a resemblence between her ad Clover. Clover had a lot of her facial features, including her distinct green eyes. Brushing her hair from her face, she thought to the fact that they only thing that Clover had recieved from her father was his fiery red hair.

Damien yawned gently.

Little did Carmella know, the little one inside her would be her exact carbon copy. Just male.

Carmella chuckled. "Alright, it's time to get you two upstairs and into bed." Carmella cooed, standing up and cradeling Damien in her arms. Lizzy reluctantly got up from her place in her father's lap beside the fire and walked over to her mother. Once the children were put to bed, Carmella walked back downstairs, smiling when she saw Darrick.

Darrick was reading by the fire. He put in another log and yawned stretching.

Carmella walked over to his seat by the fire and sat down in his lap. Smiling softly at him, she gently kissed his cheek and then looked thoughtfully at the book that he was reading. "Hmmm." she murmured, plucking the book from his hands. Brushing some of the hair from his eyes, she smiled and rested her forehead against his before kissing him lovingly.

" Aww you took my book from me" he pouted though he was teasing and kissed her lovingly. His hand went to her belly and he rubbed it gently, " This is the best present of all." he smiled softly. " I'm so happy we're having a baby. It was exciting when we were having the twins"

"Hopefully it will be only one baby this time." Carmella murmured softly, resting her small hands upon Darrick's. While she cherished the twins just as any mother would, this did not excuse the fact that she remembered all too well the hellish pain that she had gone through giving birth. Just one more baby was all that they needed. Nuzzeling Darrick, she kissed him softly. "Merry Christmas, Love." It was eleven fifty-nine.
