After finishing her breakfast Ruby looked over at Dawson fondly and smiled at him. He made her heart beat fast and slow at the same time and she couldn't begin to explain her true feelings for him. Was it possible that already she was falling in love with Dawson? Yawning softly she picked up her plate and went to clean it in the kitchen sink.

how about I show you where I live" he smiled " I can do dishes"

Ruby was curious about where he lived; she knew that it was a church but had trouble picturing a church as a place where people lived. "I would like that." she answered, smiling. A part of her wondered if whether or not it would be a sin to step into the church with him after what they had done the night before. "Nah. How about I wash and you dry?" she suggested.

" You sure? its pretty wet" he grinned. He was trying to get her to laugh.

A soft blush lit Ruby's cheek. "What's wet?" she asked shyly, looking down at the dish in her hands. She knew that he was only playing around with her, though she couldn't help but blush really deeply either way. Dawson had these special effects on her that she couldn't quite describe, though she didn't mind it. "Hmm?" she asked softly, looking into his eyes.

" you know, the water" he smirked. He kissed her neck. If they had the time he would've did more but he wanted to take her to his place.

"Of course it is..." she murmured, her eyes widening when she felt his cool lips against her neck. As he pulled away, she blushed deeply once more and turned to turn on the faucet. She was trying to focus and not let the tingeling from the night before return to her, for she knew that she would want him to soothe it and that they did not have the time.

Dawson knew that as well.

Once Ruby had finished cleaning all of the dishes she removed her apron and then hung it over on the wooden peg that she normally left it on. "Will your... the Sisters like me?" she asked, nervously entangeling one of her fiery curls around her finger. She was still worried that it would be a sin to go to the church and that somehow the Sisters would know what they had done together.

" of course they will" he smiled hugging her.

"What we did last night... Was it wrong?" she asked gently. Ruby knew that it was silly to ask him this when he had obviously thoroughly enjoyed it, but she needed to know. "From what you've been taught by them, is what we did last night something that should be frowned upon?" She was feeling bad for deviling the innocent church boy.

" To tell you the truth they never really preached to me about the dos and don'ts. "he said. " All I know is that the body don't lie " he said.

He took her to the church and smiled " Well here we are"

"Oh, my!" Ruby gasped softly. Her family was Catholic like she assumed this church was, though they never went to church. "It's so beautiful." Already she was relieved that she was forgiven for her sexual endeavor with Dawson the night before. "What a beautiful home to grow up in..." she remarked, following him into the church.

" yep. My bedroom is up in the bell tower" he said walking in through the side door. the big ones were too heavy to open just for them to go in. Only on special occasions were they opened. Like a wedding or something.

"Wouldn't that get a bit, er, loud?" she asked softly, trying to imagine what life would be like if she were expected to live in a church bell tower. Looking around the church quietly she was still impressed by the pristine beauty. "I wonder what it must have been growing up like this." She thought back to how shy Dawson had been when they had first met and smiled.

" no I ring them" he said. " So its not bad." he shrugged.

Ruby had a few things that she wanted to argue, though she felt that it wasn't appropriate in the house of God. As they looked around the church she noticed a nun kneeling infront of some lit candles, praying quietly. She looked over at Dawson with a quizzical expression, wondering if all of the nuns viewed him as their son.

Dawson smiled. " Stay here for a second." he ran over and kneeled beside the nun and he just looked up at her with this long sad puppy eyed look.

The nun looked up and her face immediatley brightened seeing Dawson. She happily embraced him and kissed him on both cheeks. It was obvious to Ruby that at least that one nun adored Dawson like a mother would her child. Clearing her throat awkwardly she walked over to the two, smiling shyly at the nun and unsurely at Dawson.

"Mom this is Ruby." he smiled.

The nun got to her feet and smiled, "Hello, Ruby." she said, her voice joyous and welcolming. "I am Sister Sarah. It is very nice to meet you." She was happy to finally see the girl whom her son had taken out on a date not too long ago. She looked like a sweet girl with beautiful long red hair and innocent green eyes that let her know that her son was in good hands.

Dawson smiled " I wanted you two to meet."

Within a few minutes Jean found herself in a small tour of the church, similar to how little children would be given tours during Sunday school. She was giving The Stations of the Cross tour and also was told the stories of each of the stained glass windows. While Ruby's parents were typically God fearing, they still weren't the kind who went to church. Her parents were very hypocritical. She was enjoying this time with Dawson and the nun.

" Good ol home" Dawson smiled brightly. He ran his hand over a piller. " ran around here as a little boy. had to hide up in the bell tower ( which is my bedroom now) whenever church started because the older gents and ladies didn't like a wild child running around and mama pengiun chasing after him. " he chuckled. He called his mom a pengiun and always got scolded for it though it was in a loving manner. He still got called quasi.

The nun briefly cuffed his ear and tsked at him as if genuinely scolding him, though it was obvious by the sparkle in her eyes that she adored him and viewed him as her son. She was happy with his choice in Ruby who seemed docile and kind, though at the same time not some dull, mindless girl who would only give him a lonely and miserable future.

Ruby laughed softly and then smiled at the small affectionate fight between Dawson and one of his mothers. Even though he had gornw up without his bioloigcal parents he seemed to be happy and genuinely loved. While Ruby's life wasn't depressing and awful, it was still void of the kind of affection and love that he knew of. Because of that she envied him and hoped that in the future she could know the same love that he did.
