It wouldn't be long until it was time for them to start pre-school, and then kindergarten. Some how Carmella could tell that by then Darrick would want to have another child. She could see it in his eyes everytime that he looked at the twins that he loved being a father.

Darrick would want to. He just didn't know when.

Neither Carmella or Darrick knew that within three years they would be possessing a new child. However, the catch would be that only Carmella would be one of the biological parents of the child. The baby that they would be recieving would be the love child that had been concieved by Carmella and Charles.

Darrick would be slightly upstet at Carmella for not telling him but he was love the child dearly.

The day went by quickly once Carmella had finished bathing the twins. She brought them to the park and they remained there for most of the day. When they arrived home it was around four o'clock, the time that Darrick normally came home from work.

Darrick walked through th e door at 4 as usual.

Carmella was just walking out of the twin's nursery after putting them both down for their late afternoon nap. Hearing the front door open and then close, her heart raced slightly, and she went to go check on her husband. "Hey." she said softly, walking towards him and kissing his cheek.

" Hey" Darrick said gently and kissed her. " I got you a little something." He gave her a bouchet of roses and a nice cup of mocha coffee with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles.

It certainly was not a "little something"; it was a big something. "Oh, my!" Carmella murmured, carefully holding the delicate bouqet of red roses. One of her hands fingered at one of the lucious petals while she looked up at him, smiling softly. "They're so beautiful."

"I'm sorry I got mad" he said gently. "I got more condoms" he held up the box and winked.

Carmella blushed deeply, her eyes looking away from his and back at the roses. "Oh, my..." she murmured again, though this time there was obviously a different tone when she said it. He certainly knew how to start a mood.

Darrick chuckled gently and kissed her cheek.

Carmella continued to blush softly, and then excused herself to put the roses in a vase. She splashed some cool water on her face to calm herself before going back to him. However, it was hard to resist Darrick, who was someone who she loved with all her heart, as well as someone who she was extremly attracted to.

Darrick chuckled softly and went to go upstairs to get into lounging clothes.

Carmella bit her lip, and couldn't help but follow him up the stairs. As they reached the bedroom, she took a seat at the small love seat in the room. Propping her legs up on the sofa, and then pulling it into her chest, she sighed gently, watching him.

He undressed and redressed into more comfortable clothing.

It was interesting how he was acting as if she weren't there watching him. As he finished dressing, she yawned softly, and then rested on her side. Sadly, the show was over. Oh, well.

Darrick sat on the bed stretching his muscles.

Carmella chuckled softly and then got up from the couch and walked over to the bed. Lying down beside him, she nuzzled him and then closed her eyes. "I love you." she said softly, opening her eyes to look at him.

" I love you too" he smiled softly.

She cradled his cheek against her hand, and then nuzzled him. "I have never cared about another person in my whole life like I care about you." Carmella whispered, pressing her lips to his cheek. Never. she thought softly.

" Not even charles" he asked softly

Her hands curled into a slight fist, and she looked away from him. "I am your wife." she said softly. "I have given you two children. We've been together for three years." What did she have to do to prove to him that her feelings for him were unparalell to anything that she ahd ever felt before.

" Oh Carmella" he said gently and held her tightly.

Carmella buried her face against his shoulder and sighed softly. It was just a little heart wrenching to feel as if he didn't trust her. Charles would never mean as much to her as Darrick did. He was her soul mate. Honestly, the one person that she was meant to be with for the rest of her life. Sighing gently, she then looked up at him, a few tears in her eyes.
