Darrick realized how litte he knew of his wife's past. " Lets go home" He said walking out.

Some could say Darrick was like Mufasa from the lion king that didn't die.

Damien shook. He had cuts and buises on his arms and legs.

Carmella was silent as she walked behind her husband. In all honesty, she didn't want to talk about her past. It was a time when she had been unconfident and depressed.

Once they arrived home, she took Damien to the bathroom to clean up his cuts. "You really shouldn't have run away like that, Sweetheart." she murmured softly, placing some Spongebob Bandaids on his legs. "Better?" she asked, kissing his cheek.

Damien sniffled and nodded.

Darrick was sitting in thier bedroom waiting for her.

"It's alright." she cooed softly. "Mommy is here now, no one is going to hurt you." Bringing her son back to his joined room with his sister, she took out a book, and began to read to him. She took her sweet time doing it, for she knew that Darrick was waiting with questions.

It started to thunderstorm and Damien shook more.

"Shh.." Carmella murmured softly, giving him a soft kiss on the head. Earlier on Carmella and Darrick had realized Damien's fear of thunder. They had eventually caved in and had boughten a radio with wireless head phones. Gently walking over to the table where the radio lay perched, she placed in a CD with soft piano music, and placed the head phones on his head. "It's going to be alright."

Damien clung to her helpless like a newborn. " Mommy can I stay with you. I'm so scred" he sobbed.

"Sweetie, you'll be alright. Besides, you aren't alone. Lizzy is here with you. She needs you here to protect her just like you need her to protect you." Carmella murmured, gently placing him back into his bed. "I promise you, nothing is going to harm you."

He sniffled and cried.

Carmella sighed softly, gently kissing the top of her son's head. She was going to be there for a while, whether she liked it or not. If Darrick was waiting for her, he would be waiting for a while.

Darrick sighed gently and got into bed and started to read.

Once Carmella had finally calmed down their son, she was finally able to make it back to their room. She was quiet opening the door, and then moved to the bed.

Darrick yawned softly.

She was surprised to see that he was still awake. It was eleven thirty, and he had work in the morning. Whatever it was he wanted to ask about Charles and her best, it was clearly something that he would not be assuaded from asking. "Tired?" she asked as she took a seat at the foot of the bed.

" Little bit" he said.

Carmella looked over at him softly, and then went over to him to softly kiss his lips. She didn't want to talk about her past. But if he really wanted to know, it wasn't fair of her to keep the truth from him.

He was a tad bit upset with her. He didn't kiss back. He just put his book closed and turned off the light.

She was surprised when he didn't kiss her back, something that had never happened before. "Darrick?" Carmella asked, watching as he pulled away, and turned off the lamp. Why was he acting like this. He didn't even know her past, and even if he did, what did it matter now?

" What" he replied. He felt like there was a whole other side to her that he was missing. And he didn't like feeling like that.

"Do you no longer like my touch?" Carmella asked him, her voice soft, only offering the slightest hint of hurt. He didn't want to be close to her? Was that it? All because of Charles? She sighed softly, and turned on her side, closing her eyes.

" I love you with all my heart, Carmella. You know I would take my life for you. I just feel like I don't know alot bout you.." he said softly, " At least your past"

She was quiet. "I've told you about my family, and my past job." She had even told him about Charles. Just not how big of a part Charles had played in her life. "Why should that matter now?" Carmella asked. "What matters is us and now."

" It kinda made me feel left out" he said softly.

"Left out?" Carmella asked, surprised by his answer. There wasn't much to say about her time with Charles. It wasn't a time that she could look upon fondly now when she tried to think about it. The one thing that kept her from forgetting it entirely was Clover. A little girl who she would probably never see again.

" I mean..I didn't know charles was......" he waved his hand.
