She could faintly hear another voice. No! Her eyes widened, and she ran as fast as she possibly could, trees shaking wildly as she passed them. "Damien!" she called out for about the hundreth time, her throat soar from all of the screaming. Once she reached him, a gasp tore from her throat.

The werewolf looked up " Ahh" he grinned.

" MOMMY!" Damien screamed.

"Put my son down." Carmella demanded, walking further into the clearing. Russet colored furr. Such familiar eyes. Who was he? "Now." she said, her eyes a vicious red. "And you better hope that he isn't hurt in the slightest bit.

" Aw what will you mommy carmella? Dust me to death?" he grinned.

She grit her teeth. Not only did this stranger know her name, but he also knew about her life before this. Who was he? Glaring at him, Carmella growled, ready to attack him. Whoever he was, he was going to be dead in a few minutes.

He threw Damien up into the air and Damien screamed. His shirt got caught on a branch suspending him there.

the wolf grinned as he circled Carmella, " Mm still petit and sexy as I remember"

"Damien!" Carmella gasped. Her hands clenced into fists. As he circled her, she made sure always to face him. The moment she let her back to him could possibly be her last. "Who are you?" she asked, growling at him as he continued to circle her.

" I'm hurt you don't remember your master. After what we've been through." he grinned.

Her eyes widened slightly, but then went back to their glare as she swung her fist at him, making contact with his nose. How was he here right now? Why was he here right now? He had left her for dead.

The branch supporting Damien started to crack and Damien screamed " MOMMY!!!"

Charles grinned and slammed her into the tree phasing into a man. " Mmm" he ran his hands up her shirt.

If only that branch hadn't started to break. She wouldn't have dropped her guard. "Ongh." Carmella grunted, her back slamming against the tree. A groan of digust passed her lips as she felt Charles's hand running up shirt. She looked away from him, blushing angirlly. Damien. She didn't want him to see her like this. With a man touching her where only his father was allowed to.

The branch starting cracking more " MOM" damien screamed till a silver blurr came in and pulled Charles off of Carmella and clutched Charles by the neck. Darrick hissed loudly his fangs as long as they could go. Charles gasped struggling to breath.

Carmella used the distraction to climb up the tree and placed Damien on her back. Sighing softly, she was happy at least that her son was safe. Once she had reached the bottom of the tree, she jumped down, and held her son in her arms. Her gaze then went over to her husband.

" WHO ARE YOU" Darrick bellowed.

Charles coughed trying to breath.

Carmella sighed softly, taking in a breath. "He is my master." she answered softly. Master, of course, was what she had been ordered to call him when she had still worked for him. She said no more, and looked down softly at Damien.

Damien was shaking and crying.

" What?" Darrick growled gently.

Lizzy had followed after her father, and was hiding behind one of the treess as she listened in. She was confused with what was going on, and she was not ready to expose herself just yet.

Carmella sighed. "Before I was put to sleep for those four centuries, I worked as a cullary maid for Charles." she answered, her voice very soft. What else could she really say?

Darrick growled " get out" he threw charles down,

Carmella looked down at Charles quietly. Why had he come here? To torment her and hurt her child? Was he really that sick of a man? Her heart ached. She hadn't even known that he was still alive. It only showed that he really hadn't cared if she had been alive or not.

Lizzy continued to watch quietly, and stepped forward once her father had thrown the red haired man down to the ground. She walked over to her mother, and hid shyly behind her legs.

" I'm suprrised at you carmella. I have been searchingor years for you and look I find you and you don't even love my touch anymore" Charles said. " what would clover say?" Granted he hadn't found Clover yet but he would.

"How can I love the touch of someone who never loved me?" she asked softly, not daring to look up at him. She was already ashamed of her past with Charles. All that Carmella cared about now was her future with Darrick.

" I did love you" He said.

Darrick growled putting his arm around Carmella.

"No you didn't." she said softly. As Darrick put his arm around her, she smiled softly at him. When she looked back to Charles, she sighed. "I'm sorry Charles, but I've moved on." She looked down at Lizzy and Damien. And then at Darrick. "I have a family."

Charles growled runninginto the forest.

Darrick stood his ground till charles was out of vampire sight.

Carmella was silently, holding tightly on to her children. Something told her that Darrick would be bringing this up later. And she would not know how to answer. He already had known from the time that he had first met her that she had orginally been looking for her old master.
