Carmella yawned softly and rested her head on her husband's chest. "Wow." she murmured softly, nuzzling his cheek. He was amazing. Their love was amazing. She knew soon, though, that they would have to go check on the twins.

Darrick grunted gently, " We gotta go check on the twins" he said gently.

"I know." Carmella murmured, though she was reluctant to get up from bed. Sighing softly she brushed some of her hair from her eyes and then got up from the bed. Once she had collected all of her clothes and redressed, she picked up his boxers and tossed them at him.

" Thanks" he said pulliong them on.

Carmella chuckled. "No problem." she said softly, waiting for him to finish dressing. Once he had, she walked out of their bedroom and down the stairs to check on the twins. Lizzy was playing around with Ricky, making him chase around a cat toy that they had substituted as a toy for the opossum.

Damien was reading Harry Potter. The 1st book.

Carmella chuckled softly and walked over to her son. "Reading again?" she asked him, sitting on the arm of the couch and looking down at the book he was reading. "I really would appreciate if you tried to read simpler books like The Hungry Caterpillar."

" Those books are so boring, mom" Damien said, " All they're good for is intera personal dynamics and simple sentance structure. I could get the same thing reading the back of a lucky charms cereal box." he replied. Wow. He was a little critic.

And a bit of a bragging show off. "Alright." Carmella said, sighing softly. "I just don't want you getting a big head or anything." She knew that Lizzy wasn't exactly on the same level as Damien when it came to reading, but that she could read a bit on her own. However, her daughter still enjoyed it even more when her mother read her one of those "boring" books.

He was going to be a smart boy but he had to slow down or people would notice thier vampireness.

Lizzy shook her head, and picked up one of the Dr. Seuss books that was on the small book shelf meant for her and Damien. "Can you please read me this one, Mama?" she asked, placing the book in Kimberly's lap. The Butter War.

The butter battle book to be precise.

Damien snorted, " That was a challenged book. It is an anti-war story; specifically, a parable about arms races in general and mutually assured destruction and nuclear weapons in particular. The Butter Battle Book was a New York Times Notable Book of the Year. The book was written during the Cold War era, and reflects the concerns of the time, especially the perceived possibility that all life on earth could be destroyed in a nuclear war. It can also be seen as a satirical work, with its depiction of a deadly war based on a senseless conflict over something as trivial as a breakfast food. The concept of a war based on toast is similar to the war between Lilliput and Blefuscu in Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels, which was nominally based on the correct end to crack an egg once hard boiled."

Lizzy looked thoughtfully at her brother before speaking. "Shut up. No one wants to hear your tirade on what books are worthy of being read and what books are not. You're nothing but a bragging know it all, and it's really starting to annoy me."

Damien got up and put his book away quietly. He went to the back door and put his shoes on and ran out crying.

Carmella sighed softly. "Oh, Lizzy." she murmured, shaking her head. While she could understand her daughter's annoyance, she wished that she hadn't been so hard on him. "I'll be back in a few minutes." she said, placing the book down and going to get her shoes.

Damien kept running till he was in the middle of the woods sniffling. Now he was lost.

" Aw what do we have here" A wolf chuckled.

Damien gasped looking up.

Carmella left the house, and started to look around for Damien. This was one of the few times where she cursed having a forest close to their backyard. "Damien!" Carmella called out. "Damien!" She sighed as she reached the mouth of the forest."Damien.." she murmured softly, walking into the dark depths of the woods.

Damien let out a scream.

Carmella had been trying to stray from going to deep in the woods. This, of course, was until she heard her son scream. "Damien!" she cried, running towards the sound of his screaming. What in the world was going on?

The werewolf laughed holding the boy upside down by his foot. ' mmm a roast perhaps?Mmm good supper"

Damien bawled.
