Harry yawned gently and closed his eyes. Harry had nothing to be upset about. He looked at her and gurgled softly.

Of course he didn't have anything to be sad about, he wasn't having his father stolen away from him. Melody looked down at him and sighed softly. Lizzy eventually took Melody back from Marcus as she noticed that her daughter was getting fuzzy. "Do you mind if I leave Emmett with you? I think Melody needs a diaper change."

Lizzy sighed softly as she grabbed Melody's diaper bag and brought her daughter to the bathroom. "My little girl." she cooed, placing her down on the changing table. She knew that Melody viewed Ryan as her father more than she did of Marcus, though why had she called him Dada? Sighing to herself, she finished changing her daughter's diaper and then brought her back to the hospital room.

Emmett laughed as he ran his new car across the floor.

Marcus smiled, " there's my pretty girl. Daddy has a present for you."

Melody looked at him with wide eyes. "Uwah?" she gurgled, as if she was asking him what her gift was. She hadn't thought that getting a new brother would also mean that she would get a present. Squriming in her mother's arms she started flailing her little hands towards her father wanting him to hold her and show her the gift that she had gotten.

Melody squealed seeing the stuffed pink unicorn and hugged it tightly. "Huwaaahh!" she gurgled, already loving the stuffed animal, being a little girl and of course loving cuddly, cute toys. She happily kissed her father's cheek and cuddled with her stuffed animal, softly nomming on the ear, leaving some spit.

Melody giggled and gave her father a sloppy kiss on the cheek. "Dada!" she gurgled, happily nuzzling her stuffed unicorn. In the future she would hold on to the stuffed animal for a very long time. Deep down in her heart she wanted to few her dad as her dad, though she was having trouble especially when she still felt a little bit like she was being replaced by the new baby. Looking back over at Harry she gurgled thoughtfully and reluctantly held out her unicorn, as if offering it to him.

Melody smiled a bit seeing her little brother happily. When he started to kick his legs out she giggled and gently nudged at his foot with her own foot. She held her stuffed animal happily and then yawned. Even though she was much older than her brother she was ready to take her afternoon nap. Lizzy normally put her and Emmett down at 12:00 in the afternoon every day so soon Emmett would be growing tired as well.

Lizzy looked down at Emmett and smiled softly. "Oh, Sweetie." she murmured, picking up her son. Looking back over to Marcus she asked if he could put Melody back in her baby seat. "I normally put the kids down for a nap right now." she cradled Emmett in her arms, knowing that he was probably liking it since she normally always had Melody hogging up the time in her arms. She liked to baby her little boy, too.

Melody yawned and snuggled into her blankets, happily nomming on the unicorn's ear. Today hadn't been too bad. She had seen one of her daddies and had also gotten a cute toy out of it. Briefly looking up at her daddy she offered him a small smile and gurgled at him before closing her eyes, as if gurgling had exhausted her.

Lizzy wished Marcus and Jacey luck on their new baby before leaving the hospital room. Sighing to herself she walked to her car and then strapped the two kids in. Once they reached their house she put them both down to bed and then went to prepare herself a glass of coffee. "Geez," she muttered to herself. What was she doing getting jealous of Jacey?

Marcus smiled gently as he watching Jacey and harry, " Can't wait to go home. I'm not sleeping good on these stiff couches." Marcus pouted.

Jacey laughed. "Listen, Mister." she said, pointing a finger at him. "I don't enjoy this anymore than you do but they still want to look after Harry about since he's a premie." she looked down sadly. "They might discharge me soon but keep him here for a little longer." She didn't like the thought of having to wait to see her son after he had been born.

Jacey smiled back at him and nodded her head. "I think so, too." Not too long after she said this the nurses came in and told her that they needed to do a few more tests on Harry. It was a possibility that he would be able to leave home with them tomorrow and the thought of that made her very happy and also very worried at the same time. If she couldn't take Harry home the next day she wasn't sure he she would react.

"No matter what we'll be releasing Jacey tomorrow." the nurse clarified. She knew that it was hard for new mothers to leave their child behind at the hospital so she was also keeping her fingers crossed that the baby would do fine during the tests and they would be able to take the baby home with them. Bidding them goodbye the nurse then brought Harry to the nursery.
