Jacey laughed softly. "Nah, don't give me that look. We both know that I did most of the work." Smiling, she gently kissed the top of his head and then sighed tiredly. Her first baby; her first child with Marcus. Looking over at Marcus, she smiled, though obviously she was exhausted. "He's finally here, Babe." she murmured tiredly. "I'm a mommy now."

Harry yawned again and looked around. He looked at the man by the bed. who the heck are you? Harry yawned again, Ok mom can I sleep now? This guy is boring me. Harry Yawned louder at her and closed his eyes.

Jacey giggled, as if she really knew what her baby was thinking. "Do you want to hold him?" she asked, smiling. "I think that you should bond with him before the little guy doses off." Smiling gently, she kissed the top of his forehead and then handed Harry off to Marcus. "I know that you've wanted to see him for such a long time."

Marcus held him and rocked him gently, " Oh little man." he smiled. " I'm your daddy,, I've been waiting to meet you" He kissed his little cheek.

Jacey smiled, though she was beginning to feel weak. She would have to go to sleep and rest soon and the same went for their baby. Yawning softly to herself, she brushed some hair out of her eyes. "You look so cute together." she smiled, making an effort to stay awake and look at the two. She was very happy to see the two together.

Jacey smiled and nodded her head. Her eye lids felt heavy and she soon closed her eyes and fell asleep. Not too long afterwards did the nurses come into the room to take Harry away. They needed to keep watch after him since he was a premie, even though being a week premature wasn't as dangerous as say being a month premature.

Marcus sat in the recline chair in the room with Jacey as she slept. He stretched out and put his feet up. He texted Lizzy , " Sleepy time. I'll get a picture of harry later. Night night Very Happy

A tired sigh passed from her lips and she smiled seeing the text. The only thing that made her sad was that he hadn't been neartly as happy when Emmett was born and he hadn't even stuck around to see Melody be born. It hurt when you really saw how little someone had once cared about you. Turning off her phone, she went to bed for the night.

Then again Marcus wasn't the same man as he once was. He came over often to play with Emmett and Melody and often got them little presents like some ice cream or little things like a hot wheel car and a stuffed puppy or something.

Yes, Marcus wasn't the same man any more and that was the point. He had loved Jacey enough to change for her and become a better man. He hadn't cared about Lizzy enough to offer her the same courtesy. All he had done for her that he hadn't done for Jacey was cheat on her and walk out on her when she was heavily pregnant with his second child.

She knew that he couldn't but that still didn't change that it hurt. The next morning Lizzy got up and dressed. She helped Emmett and melody get ready so that they could meet their new brother. While it was difficult to explain to Emmett how he had a new brother that she hadn't given birth to, she was relieved that at least Melody was to young to even form sentences long enough to ask.

Lizzy sighed and tried to explain. It had already been hard enough when Emmett had wanted to know why his father had left and then why he was a tree and then why he was with Jacey. Brushing some hair from his son's eyes, she smiled. "Just be happy that you have a new little brother." she smiled, gently patting his head. Little did she know that in a couple of years he would have another little brother- from her and Ryan.

Melody gurgled a bit from her little babyseat as she looked over at the man who she had grown to know as her second father. Seeing him with another baby made her puff out her cheeks and gurgled angerilly, as if she felt that he was cheating with another child. Sniffeling, she cuddled into her blankets and looked away from him.

Marcus turned and chuckled. " Hello." He smiled gently.

" Daddddd I wanna seee I wanna seee" Emmett ran to him and climbed up his leg halfway. " Hold on emmett" he laughed. He gave Harry to his mother. He wanted to see them first.

" How's my big boy" Marcus asked.

" Good. Dad why is he my brother? Jacey isn't my mom." Emmett frowned.

" He's your brother because I'm his dad and you're my son too. You're half brothers. " he said.

" So...Melody is my full sister because she and me are you and mom's kids." he sid

" Exactly." Marcus said ruffling his hair.

Marcus came over to the carrier, " May I?" He asked Lizzy.

Lizzy nodded her head, though she had a semi sly smirk on her face. "Alright, but she looks like she's angry at you." Melody would be turning a year old within a month and before they would know it she would be walking and talking. At that moment Melody gurgled once more, though it seemed angry, almost like a warning to Marcus.

Melody pouted and looked away from him as he picked her up. "...Dada..." she said quietly, much to Lizzy's surprise. She had been trying to get Melody to speak for the past couple of weeks and now she was saying her first word to Marcus. Her eyes were sad and it was obvious that she still felt like she was being replaced by the baby in the bed.

Melody sighed softly and cuddled into her father's arms. Before he hadn't talked to her much and now he was having another little girl. A gentle gurgle passed her lips and she closed her eyes. Soon she would have to meet the new baby which in her small mind she didn't exactly want to. Opening her eyes she looked over at the new baby and gurgled angrilly.

Melody sighed tiredly and pouted. "Hynnn..." she gugrgled, looking unhappily over at Harry as if to say "Whatever. He looks funny." eventually she was brought to the bed so that she could see her new little brother. She grunted a bit as she was held near her brother and sighed. He had a very pink face and green eyes that she did not realize were her father's.
