Things had been hard on the both of them for a while and now that they were together, she just wanted things to be happy. Sighing and brushing some hair out of her eyes, she let herself rest. As always, Jacey remained lighthearted. "I know, my love, I know." she chuckled softly. "I think that you would miss my bed too much." Nuzzeling his cheek, she sighed gently and let herself find a comfort and warmth with his arms. "Of course, I would be very sad if you did." she was silent for a few minutes. "A person only has one soulmate."

A happy smile graced her lips and she nuzzled his cheek. "And I will do whatever I can to keep you by my side." Of course she did not know of the life growing inside of her that would only help to bond them together and make them a stronger couple. "We are meant to be together. We have gone through so much. There is no other path for us."

Jacey smiled and cuddled against his warmth. They had come a long way from being strangers who's paths had been forced to cross. With a soft sigh, she allowed herself to relax and rest her body. She was really tired and had felt as such for the past week. After pressing a small kiss to Marcus's cheek, it was not long before she fell asleep.

Marcus kissed her forehead gently and got up and got dressed. He had to go meet up with Lizzy so he could spend time with his kids. Though Jacey's illness was starting to worry him.

With the help of Ryan, Lizzy had been able to bathe both of the kids and have them both dressed within an hour. While she was not dressing them up for church she still wanted them to look nice. She had Emmett wearing a pale blue polo shirt, a clean pair of jeans and his sneakers which lit up when he stepped. Sweet little Melody was dressed up into a pale pink dress with cute white sandals.

Marcus cleaned up and left a note for jacey telling her he went to see his kids.

Lizzy and Ryan had a sort of agreement that when she went to see Marcus with the kids, it was just the four of them. Ryan trusted her enough and understood that she simply wanted to establish a friendship between Marcus, not only for her kid's sake but also for the sake of her own mind set. Getting the kids into the car, she then started to drive off.

Marcus was waiting at the park thinking of Jacey once more. Something about her symptoms reminded him of when Lizzy had been pregnant. But that wasn't right, was it? She could've have been right?

Lizzy helped the kids out of the car and then walked with them towards the swing set. She held Emmett's hand and with her other arm she cradled Melody protectively against her body. Once she reached Marcus, she smiled and let go of Emmett's hand. "Hello." she said kindly, taking a seat beside him. Melody was looking thoughtfully at the man whom she hardly knew.

"Dada." the little girl mumbeled, her voice question. Looking at him again, she shook her head. No, that wasn't her father. Her father was at home. "No Dada." she decided.

Emmett ran to his dad and hugged his legs. Marcus lifted him up and hugged him. " Hey" Marcus said gently. Marcus was no longer harsh but a gentle man. Marcus never corrected Melody though she would understand when she was older and he knew she probably wouldn't call him dad ever and he was fine with it. " I missed you Emmett"

" I missed you too, daddy. I love you" Emmett said hugging him.

Lizzy sighed softly and gently pressed a kiss to the top of Melody's head. Melody, who was still an infant, was of course having difficulty grasping that Marcus was her father. She had only seen him a whopping two times in her whole life. Yawning, the little girl cuddled against her mother's warmth and closed her eyes.

Melody looked up, startled by the voice that she hardly knew. "Wah?" she said softly, as if to ask What? Now you know my name? She gurgled at him thoughtfully and then turned to look at her mother. This act was repeated several times before she decided to acknowledge the man. "Uwah." she said thoughtfully, waiting to see his reply.

Melody seemed confused by this and tried to piece the words together. "Fafa?" she murmured, her lips not yet ready to say such a long word. What was a father? What did it mean? Blinking softly, she turned to look at Marcus more thoughtfully. "Fafa." she repeated, cautiously reaching her hand out to Marcus. "Fafa." she repeated.

Marcus nodded and held her little hand, " Yes, I'm your father." he said gently, " And I'm sorry for everything. I don't know how much you will need me but I'll always be there for you."

Melody seemed to understand this a little bit, and gently kissed the top of one of his fingers. "Fafa." she said quietly, and then gurgled happily at him. Lizzy smiled softly, and looked at Marcus thoughtfully. "Would you like to hold her?" she asked him, carefully moving so that she could place the baby girl in his arms.

Lizzy chuckled softly. "I'm sure that there is a little bit of your characteristics here." she said thouhgtfully, looking over at their baby girl. "Like, she has your... hmm." Most of Melody's facial features were from Lizzy, similarly how Deren looked like Damien and lacked any physical traits from Kimberly. "She's stubborn like you." she concluded.

Melody fussed around a bit before relaxing in Marcus's arms. She was confused with the man who was her fafa and also with the man who was her daddy. Was a daddy the same thing as a fafa? Yawning softly, she looked up when she heard a russeling in the bushes. It was quick, but due to her vampire instincts, she could hear it. It was not soon before a werewolf jumped out of the brush, ready to attack.
