Once Upon A Dream

He smiled and closed the door behind her and went to get in the driver's seat. "You've got to put your seat belt on. That's this thing," he said, pulling out his and buckling it.

"Okay" she said, and watched him put him on. She then followed in suit, mostly without problem. She was finally catching on to most things now, and hoped she could keep it that way.

He smiled and put the car into reverse after opening the garage door, and pulled out. Closing it again before he headed over to Walmart to get her a toothbrush and clothes.

Kallie watched this with a smile. She was beginning to love this new version of the world. Some of this really would've been quite handy to have around. And now it was around! It was almost hard to believe how long she'd been asleep.

He smiled and got out of the car, helping her unbuckle herself and took her hand, walking inside with her. He headed over to the hygiene stuff and pointed out the toothbrushes. "Alrighty, pick one out," he smiled at her.

Kallie smile and looked over all her choices. It wasn't very easy to choose. Even so, she eventually chose a blue one that looked almost clear. "Can I have this one?" she questioned, looking over at him.

"Of course," he smiled and took it off the hook. "Now let's get you a hair brush and we can go to the mall to get you more clothes."

"Okay" she said with a smile. She knew what those were, which made life alot easier for her.

He smiled and walked with her to the hair stuff to get her a brush, and shampoo and conditioner, along with body wash and a scrunchy while they were there, then paid for it all and walked to the car with her, driving to the mall.

Kallie was pretty hyped up by now. No parents, shopping, no guards. This was great! "To the mall!" she said with a big smile.

He laughed and helped her out of the car, walking in with her. "There are lots of stores here, but we're mainly here for clothes. If you find something you might like, don't be afraid to point it out, okay," he smiled at her, taking her hand.

"Okay" she said with a smile. She figured this would be fun, but she still wasn't accustomed to the style she had been seeing around.

He smiled and walked inside with her. This mall was more organized than most - all the clothes stores were near each other, the jewelry stores were together, shoe stores, etc. They'd arrived in the clothes stores wing - the mannequins lining the glass walls inside the stores.

Kallie walked with him, gazing through windows. After a minute or two she spotted a clothing store that perked her interest. "Let's go in here" she said with a smile, pulling him along.

He chuckled. "Okay, okay, I'm coming," he said, walking with her. He found her enthusiasm adorable. And she didn't seem like what he thought a princess would act like - selfish, stubborn, bossy, and stuck up. She was acceptable to new things, even welcomed them. So far, he hadn't seen any signs of her being bossy or selfish.

She smiled and pulled him with her into the store. She looked around for a moment before seeming a little lost. She didn't know what size she was. She wasn't even sure what would look okay on her. "Help?" she questioned with a little smile. "What do you think would look good on me? I'm not used to picking my own clothes...."

He smiled and nodded. "Alright... Let's try some of these and those... " he said grabbing some shirts, sweaters, and pants.

She smiled and watched him pick some things out. She figured maybe next time she needed clothes she would be more used to this and able to find some for herself easier. "How about some of these?" she questioned, pointing to a skirt or two. They seemed like a really short version of what she was used to wearing, above her knees even, but looked like they may be cute.

He looked at what she was pointing to. "Sure," he smiled. He took a couple of those, too, and chuckled, his arms full of clothes. "How about we get you a dressing room," he smiled sheepishly.

Her smile broadened and she gave him a light kiss on the cheek. "Yes, I think we should" she agreed. She glanced around till she spotted what looked like the dressing rooms back in europe and pulled him over to it.

He smiled and chuckled, following her. He put the clothes in a cart and wheeled it to her. "Here you go, take this in with you. I can't go in there," he told her gently.

Kallie went into the dressing room and tried each thing on, and would then come out and show each to him. Most of them seemed fine but a couple didn't look right, so she didn't really want them.

He smiled every time she came out. She looked good in everything, whether she thought so or not. It was ultimately her decision, though, on whether she wanted to wear it.

She came out the last time with her original clothes back on and almost everything that she had gone in with. "Okay, so what did you think?" she questioned. There weren't many that she herself didn't like, but she figured it was his money, so she'd let him choose. That and she still felt a little weird wearing what was now considered normal. Either way though, she was glad to be there with him.

He stood, stretching. "Well, what was most comfortable to you," he asked, looking at the pile of clothes.
