A Werewolf's Heart Part 1.1

"And I had work." Then she smiled more. "I don't have to go to work anymore! I knew I'd love it here!"

He chuckled. "I hope you will," he said softly.

"As long as you're happy, I will be too." she said.

"I am," Nick smiled, squeezing her hand gently. "I don't think I've ever been happier, honestly."

She smiled. "I know of a couple of things that'll make you happier." she said.

Nick looked at her curiously. "What would that be," he asked.

"Sex, kids, chocolate... sex." She listed, smiling.

He blushed a deep red. He couldn't argue with that completely.

She smiled and pulled the blanket over her shoulder. "It get rather chilly here."

He laid down next to her, wrapping his arms around her. "Are you cold?"

"A little bit." she said, moving closer to him.

"Do you want my arms around your or my fur to keep you warm," he asked quietly.

"Uhm... that's a hard question." She said, making a face.

"I'll hold you," he smiled softly. "If you get too cold, then I'll share my fur."

She smiled. "Sounds good." Then her face went serious. "Does it hurt to become a werewolf?"

"Not at all," he smiled softly. "No need to worry."

"What do you have to do to turn me?" she asked.

"I would have to bite you," he said softly. "You'd feel really sick at first, then you'd be in a lot of pain, and then finally slip into a coma... Each one of those stages lasts about twelve hours..."

"Pain?" She asked. "You just said it doesn't hurt."

"Oh, I thought you meant for me," he said apologetically.

She shook her head. "I want you to change me so I'm not the different one around here. and I wanna know if it hurts."

"It will," he said sadly, holding her close. "I'll be right there with you, if you want me to be.."

She moved closer to him. "I always want you to be with me."

He held her close, nuzzling her gently. "Would it be okay if I never let you go," he asked in a whisper.

She nodded. "I wouldn't have it any other way."
