A Werewolf's Heart Part 1.2

She sighed and laid her head on his chest. "When the sun comes up, hide me from it." She said, smiling.


Ilane took a shakey breath and nodded. "I love you too." she said, clinging as tightly as she could to him.

Brados nodded and laid on his side, curling around her protectively. His body blocked the entrance of the den from her view, and blocked her from anyone who would be standing in their den. "Sweet dreams, my love," he kissed her forehead.

Nick stroked her hair and her cheek, not knowing why she was shaking. "Honey, what's wrong," he asked, kissing her forehead. "I won't go anywhere while you're sleeping, I promise."

She smiled. "Thank you. I love you." She whispered before falling asleep.


"I'm still really scared about what happened.... The images wont get out of my head.." She said, trying not to cry again.

"I love you, too," Brados whispered softly, still stroking her hair. "So much." He smiled down at her lovingly before he closed his own eyes and dozed off.

Nick kissed her forehead. "Shh, baby, it's okay," he told her. "No one is ever going to hurt you again. I'll kill whoever so much as thinks of touching you.

Ilane nodded. "I know... That's just never happened to me before. I've never had somebody touch me out of anger or lust like that.... It scared me..." She said, crying.

Nick kissed her forehead and held her close. "Shh, baby, it's okay now. You're safe," he murmured over and over.

She nodded and stopped crying eventually. "Just, just let me cling to you for a little while."

Nick nodded and rubbed her back soothingly, holding her close while she clung to him. He figured the medicine that Sam had given him for Ilane should be kicking in soon, and he could go back to sleep with her. He was exhausted, but he didn't show it.

Slowly, Ilane started falling asleep, still clinging to him.

Nick unintentionally dozed off, still holding Ilane close protectively.

Ilane fell into a deep sleep, clinging to Nick like she would fall if she didn't hold onto him.

Brados woke up late in the morning, yawning. Like he promised, he kept the sun from touching Sam through the entrance of their den, smiling down at her lovingly.

Sam was still sleeping peacefully, like nothing ever happened yesterday or the day before. She sighed happily in her sleep, staying close to Brados.

Raini yawned, waking up slowly. She blinked her eyes awake and closed them again, deciding it was too bright in the den, even when the sun wasn't touching her.

Al chuckled and pulled their blanket over them. "That better love?" he asked softly.

Raini smiled and opened her eyes, smiling up at him. "Yes, thank you," she kissed him softly.

He kissed her back, the nuzzled her neck. "I love you... so so much."

She smiled and hugged herself closer to him. "I love you, too," she murmured, kissing his cheek.

"I really didn't think I could feel like this about anyone." He mumbled. "I couldn't find anyone in my pack. But... I'm so happy found you."

Raini blushed, smiling lovingly at him. "I'm happy, too," she kissed him softly. "You have no idea."

"No... you have no idea." He said, smiling up at her.

She chuckled and kissed him softly. "Well, then, I guess we're both at a loss. We don't know how happy the other is," she grinned.

He smiled. "I know how much I love you."

She smiled. "And I know how much I love you, and how happy I am," she kissed his cheek.

He smiled. "Well, as long as you know, then that's all that matters."
