A Werewolf's Heart Part 1.1

He smiled softly, happily, and nuzzled her more.

She smiled. "I love you."

"I love you, too," he smiled. "You have no idea how long I've waited to say that."

She smiled. "You can say it as many times as you want."

He smiled. "I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you," he nuzzled, repeating the phrase.

She laughed and hugged him. "I love you," She said as many times as he said it.

He smiled and held her close. "I like holding you," he murmured softly.

"I like being held by you." she mumbled.

He smiled softly. "You're tired. Get some sleep," he said gently.

She nodded and cuddled close to him. "Don't let go of me."

"I won't. Ever," he said softly, holding her close.

She smiled, slowly falling asleep. The party around them still went on, late into the night.

Nick fell asleep soon after the party ended, his arms around her protectively.

Al went over to Nick, way before the sun came up and shook him awake. "Nicky, we have to go. If we wanna be in the new field by night fall, we have to go now. Wake up, get ready." he said then went to the other people.

Nick jumped awake, blinking tiredly. "Wha...? New field..? Why...?"

"We're moving." Al told him. "I told you this yesterday. The humans are expanding, we need to move away from them. Get up, wake her up. We need to leave soon."

Nick blinked awake and sat up, yawning. "Alright, alright. I'm up," he stretched. Gently, he shook Ilane. "Ilane, we have to get up," he told her softly. "Come on."

Ilane shook her head. "It isn't even light out yet."

Nick picked her up gently, cradling her to his chest. "We have to move, though. Here, get onto my back," he told her.

"But, who's going to carry my stuff?" she asked, resting her head on his shoulder.

"I will," Ed told her, picking up her things.

Nick kissed her forehead. "Come on, up on my back," he said gently.

She sighed, moving onto his back. "Can I go back to sleep now?"

"Yes," he told her gently, standing slowly.

She kissed his neck gently and mumbled a thank you.

He smiled softly and let her sleep, following his brothers and the pack to whatever field they were talking about.
