Matthew grunted once more, being the stubborn male most warriors were. He looked down and stayed silent. "So? Would that not in turn make me stronger? To maybe someday not submit to the lust?" he said quietly, closing his eyes momentarily before looking up at her.

"It might," she agreed softly. "But you've gone days without it. I'm sure you're thirsty by now."

Matthew grunted again, being the stubborn male that most warriors were these days. He sighed, looking down as his mouth parted with the appearance of his fangs. He couldn't help it as she continued to mention just the thirst.

She kissed him softly. "You took care of me. Let me take care of you," she whispered.

Matthew growled quietly, his mouth quivering and twitching as his fangs ached to feast on her blood. "And you're feeling...fine?"

She nodded, smiling softly at him. "Yes, love. I'm feeling perfectly fine," she promised, kissing the corner of his mouth and licking one of his fangs gently.

Matthew grunted, gently baring her neck to him and kissing it softly. "You asked for it.." he smirked almost, licking softly where he planned to bite and finally sunk his fangs in, shuddering as the blood rushed into his mouth.

She moaned as she felt him bite, her body shuddering from the pleasure of their intimacy.

Matthew groaned, feeding from her without mercy as he held her close. He could feel everything within her, smell all, even feeling her own intense pleasure from the intimate bite. But he had his fill quickly, finding that he wasn't as hungry as he thought he was. It must've been the stress that had him think so. Slowly he pulled away, licking at the punctures to seal them.

She made a sound in the back of her throat as he licked the wounds closed, almost like a purr. She snuggled close to him. "I love you," she whispered contently.

Matthew chuckled, shaking his head. "Of course. I just gave your body the best feeling in the world." he joked, kissing her softly.

"I don't love you just for that," she shook her head, disagreeing with him. "You keep me safe. You make me feel like I have a purpose in this vampire world," she said a bit sleepily. "I don't like being away from you."

Matthew nodded, nuzzling her neck and yawning. "Tired?"

"No," she said stubbornly, fighting the calm that normally brought sleep after his bite.

Matthew grinned, kissing her cheek and the rest of her face lovingly. "You are love, really.." he said soothingly, teasing.

She shook her head. "Nu-uh," she said, then yawned. "Okay, maybe a little," she mumbled, burying her face in his chest.

"So much for feeling the rush of being bitten." Matthew smirked, kissing her head and cuddling her. She was adorable like this.

She looked up at him and stuck her tongue out childishly, though the corners of her mouth were turned up, failing to completely hide a smile from him.

Matthew smiled, kissing her softly. "Bed?" he asked, raising a brow as he was beginning to turn her over to lay on the bed.

She nodded sleepily, getting into a comfy sleeping position and cuddling close to him.

Matthew took a deep breath, inhaling her scent and glad to know she was fine. He wrapped his arms around her and closed his eyes. "I love you.."

She smiled, her heart warming at those three tiny words. "I love you, too," she whispered before she began dozing off.

Matthew had let himself fall to sleep as well, since he was just glad to have her in his arms again. Still, once he woke up, he would have to face the destruction they now had to ignore for the moment.

Jasmine fell asleep and slept soundly for a solid eight hours, then got up to go to the bathroom.

Matthew blinked, opening his eyes slowly as he watched her disappear into the bathroom. He was sure she wasn't pregnant..though now he wondered whether she may have gotten sick or...well, maybe he was thinking too much into things. "You alright?" he called out.
