Of course as soon as they stepped in after them, gun shots flew like the confetti out of their container. Many humans ran out of the building. But of course, Marek was terrified when seeing Lucan and his other brother in arms. "You bastards!" he hissed, Lucan making his way to him after planting a bullet into another of his minions' heads. Of course, with Marec being older than the two of them, he was much quicker and was able to avoid any bullets shot at him. It was going to be a bloody fight.

Jasmine tried to keep tabs on them, but they were moving very quickly. Too quick for her human senses, even the sixth one, to follow.

Lisa was just as worried, but she knew Logan was elsewhere, and his heart was still beating which was a good sign. "You think things will turn out ok?" she asked Jasmine as the other girls remained quiet, intent on knowing that their mates were just fine. As the battle continued, bones were broken, cracked, hell, even fractured. But the good thing was, that Marec was getting ahead of himself and thinking he had the upper hand. Once he had Lucan pinned down under his foot, he smirked as he was slowly choking him. Matthew roared like an animal and charged Marec, their bodies mashing together and slamming into a wall. Lucan took this chance to dig his blade (one strapped to his hip) into Marec's neck, eventually hearing the small noise of bone being cut through and eventually Marec stopped moving, but they all three had fully transformed, their eyes with irises and amber raging, their fangs barely kept behind their gums.

Jasmine couldn't say. "God, I hope so," she murmured. She concentrated harder, her eyes unseeing and looking glazed over from how much she was using her gift on their surroundings. "Marek's unable to move now," she said. "He's barely alive, both Matthew and Lucan are fine. Aside from a few broken bones."

Lisa sighed, shaking her head and holding her hands together. Eventually both the men came back out, the building then setting on fire. They both went into the car, panting and breathing heavily. "Agh god.." Matthew groaned, hissing and barely wanting to move. Lucan was just as in bad shape if not worse. Marek was dealt with, and so was the evidence of their battle. Still, it seemed more dark havens were done with, but at least they saved a few.

Jasmine took care of their burns and broken bones, but she couldn't end their fatigue. She kissed her mate softly, feeling the danger having been gone. "Are you alright," she asked, wiping the sweat out of his eyes gently.

Matthew grunted, shaking his head. "Drive..we need to get out of here." he muttered weakly. Lucan gulped, trying to breathe. Gabrielle did her own best to try and comfort him.

"Alright," she said softly and went to the wheel, turning the van around and driving back to where they'd come from.

Both of the warriors laid on the floor of the van in the back, trying to console themselves and relieve some of the stress on their bodies. "Just keep driving..doesn't matter where." Lucan muttered, closing his eyes.

Jasmine drove to get through the city and to a nice, quiet field. She just drove until the sun went down and they ran out of gas. Shit, she hadn't thought of the gas... She sighed, letting her head drop to the steering wheel.

Matthew and Lucan had slept a bit along the way. But as they did so, they had given up their cell phones to let the other breedmates call their mates, to see if they were ok. Matthew opened his eyes weakly, looking up. "Where..are we?"

"In the middle of a field and out of gas," Jasmine mumbled, pissed at herself. "The city's about fifty miles that way," she pointed.

Matthew scoffed. "Nice. But at least we're far.." he breathed quietly, sitting up and seeing the others had taken a nap. They were in a way, alone. "So, you ok?"

She nodded. "Just pissed at myself," she muttered and looked at him. "How about you," she asked, going to sit next to him.

Matthew held her in his arms after pulling her into his lap, sighing. "Tired, sore as hell. Can't you feel it?" he asked, meaning towards how stiff his body felt against hers.

She nodded and rested her head on his shoulder, letting her ability relax his muscles so he wouldn't be so stiff and sore. "Better," she murmured, happy just being in his arms again.

Matthew groaned quietly but was glad that the soreness and aching was gone. He sighed, nuzzling her head with his face as he took comfort in her scent. "Thanks.."

She kissed him softly. "You're welcome."

Matthew caressed her face with his hand and sighed. She could've died..because of him. He kissed back and grunted. "You were so close to death..it wasn't even funny. If Lucan hadn't killed Marec, he would've set the whole fifteen blocks off with a bomb..all of you.." he said, scared mostly for her.

She kissed him softly, gently. "But that didn't happen," she whispered. "I'm safe. Not harmed at all. Tired and my eyes aren't working like they should, but I'm fine."

"Your eyes? What do you mean? Did you strain yourself?" Matthew asked, frowning a bit. She pushed herself, damn. "Then..will you need blood?" he asked, raising a brow.

She shrugged. "I was trying to follow what you guys were doing and if you were okay or needed help. I think the more I do that, it might take away some of my sight... I don't know if your blood will fix it or not," she said honestly.

"Well wouldn't that be dandy?" Matthew said sarcastically as he reached for his wrist and bit down, drawing enough blood. "Just feed. It should help some, at least. Or we'll just have to get you glasses then already." he muttered, knowing soon that Lucan would wake to the scent. He held his wrist up to her for her to drink as he prepared to bit into his lip.

Jasmine blushed, knowing what would happen if she drank his blood. But if he was insisting, who was she to refuse? [XDDDDD]

She drank from the wound he'd made in his wrist, moaning as his blood sent an electric current through her body. His blood did help her sight a little bit, she tested as she opened her eyes and looked at him, a familiar fire in her eyes.

Matthew held her close and bit his lip hard, drawing some blood as well since he was trying so hard to resist temptation and from letting out any noise. They were inside the van for goodness sakes! It's also not like he could go outside with her and feed her his blood even if they were fifty miles away from the city! He looked at her and closed his eyes tightly, trying not to look into those bright eyes.
