Matthew smiled, nodding. "Love you too." he whispered, kissing her head and holding her til she fell asleep. After a few hours, he had decided to go and talk to Logan, including Gideon to see if maybe, just maybe, Jasmine could try her theory out to maybe bring Lisa out of this..bond of hers with that rogue.

Jasmine slept soundly, all but drooling from how exhausted she was. She smiled in her sleep, dreaming of her and Matthew just spending some peaceful time together.

As the argument built up, Logan had come to be very possessive over his mate. He had ignored Matthew's suggestions, though he was open to her trying to bring Lisa out of this bond. Gideon had found it an interesting theory, something to be proven. But otherwise, this was to be kept quiet, not to be let out unless proven successful. As the hours continued to tick by, all the warriors had prepared and were ready to fly back to the city where Lucan waited with his own warriors. Matthew had gone back to his room, leaving a note and kissing Jasmine's head as he left quietly. The note simply read:

"Love, I know you don't like my disappearing act, but I have to do it. Now, like we discussed, try to find out more about this ambush if possible and contact me. Stay safe.
-Your mate, Matthew."

Jasmine woke up hours later, stretching. Her hand touched a piece of paper and she blinked, sitting up and turning on the lamp to read it. She sighed and got up to get dressed. She didn't think anyone would care if she didn't take a shower first. She went to find Lisa and found her finally.

Logan was still beside Lisa, holding her hand. As she came into the room, he looked at her and sighed. "You're going to try?" he asked, almost not believing of what Matthew had said to him. He was still worried over his mate, but he wondered whether it may mess with her mind once this was all done.

Jasmine nodded. "I'll do all that I can," she promised him. She put her hand on Lisa's shoulder and closed her eyes, going deep into concentration. She connected herself with Matthew so he could see what was going on.

I'm gonna see if I can't copy her connection to the rogue, and connect the copy to Logan instead of him, she let her mate know and set out to try it. She studied the connection carefully and set to work, reaching her hand to touch Logan as well, so she could complete the connection.

Logan sighed, closing his eyes tightly as he prayed that it would work to some extent. He could feel some kind of burning, mentally, but not physically which was sort of..soothing. "Is it...working?" he asked quietly, afraid it might separate the connection.

"She's connected to you now," she nodded. "I've got to carefully disconnect her from the rogue," she murmured. "But I need to get more information first. It won't be much longer," she promised Logan and listened in on the speach Marek was giving to all the rogues. He was preparing them for the ambush. There would be one on each order's city, and on their bases. They were to use bombs and the like to kill every member of the order and their mates and/or families.

"Oh, shit," she whispered. Matthew, did you hear that!?

Matthew had heard his mate's terrified voice and stood up abruptly as they were still on the plane. "Shit! Hey, gimme a phone, quick!" he hurried one of the warriors, grabbing their cell phone and dialing Lucan's number. Of course, with terrible disbelief but also with great fear, he had to believe Matthew. They agreed upon warning all of the compounds, including the dark havens to be wary and evacuate. Of course, it almost seemed like there was no safe place to hide the women and children. Matthew sighed in relief somewhat, but he too worried over his mate. Jasmine, you and the other two need to leave. As soon as possible, get this done quickly.

Where are we going to run to, Jaz asked him. Wherever we go, they'll just follow our scent. I can't run as fast as you guys. She was scared, but she was staying focused and logical.

Matthew growled, now feeling ridiculous and stupid for leaving his mate alone with just one warrior and his own mate. "Damn it.." he hissed, looking out the window. Then..take a car and try to drive yourself to the compound in the city. We aren't far from there, so...just gather weapons and drive.

Alright. Please be careful. Oh, do you want Lisa still connected to the Rogue? Or should I kill the connection, she asked. She didn't want to miss up the chance for more information, but she knew the rogue would be tracking Lisa.

Matthew rubbed his chin and cursed quietly. The others could sense his tension, but they wouldn't dare ask. Just get more info as much as possible, and get going! If she were to die, he wouldn't promise to not give bloody hell to Marek and his men.

I'll sever the connection as soon as I know they're on the move, she told him. "Come on, we have to go," she told Logan. "Grab as many weapons as you can carry. Quickly," she said, going to grab the weapons she'd used when Matthew took her out to kill the rogues.

Logan grunted, getting up and grabbing his own weapons, guns mostly with the special bullets. He helped Lisa to her feet, obviously still dazed and confused but able to hang onto her mate. "So? What about the connection?" he asked, more worried for her than himself at the moment as they made their way to the garage where the cars were.

"Matthew wants to see if there's any more information to be heard from Marek's speach to the rogues. They're planning several ambushes at once. One in each city where there's a known order. Their orders are to kill every breed male and their mates and families. Matthew's already on the move in contacting Lucan and letting him know what's going on. We're supposed to go to the order in the city, closer to where they are now. Once I have all the information I need, I'll sever her connection to the Rogue. Or if they're on the move. But we have to move quickly," she told him hurriedly, running towards the garage.

Logan cursed as he carried Lisa to the garage. Once getting into one of the huge trucks they had which looked like something out of a military movie, he had packed it with guns that would make a war seem like child's play. He then started the truck and took off once the doors opened for the garage. "So, where to? The city he's heading to? Jesus, that's pretty far.." he muttered, shaking his head as he was speeding.

"It's better than being sitting ducks underground where we'd be buried alive," Jasmine pointed out, not happy about it, either. She listened in on the conversation that the rogues were having, not hearing anymore information. It almost seemed like they were being careful what they said. Jasmine sent this silent suspicion to her mate, wondering if he thought the same thing.

"Anything?" Logan said as he drove. He then froze when seeing a car behind them moving at a fast speed. Even their high lights were on, were they being followed? "Hang on." he warned, swerving into a different lane, ignoring the many honks from the cars that were taken aback from the sudden movement. The car following had done the same. Meanwhile, Matthew had heard the silent suspicion and cursed. Then just get away as far as you can...stay safe.

"I'm not sure," Jasmine said, shaking her head. She noticed the car, too, and was watching them closely. We're trying, love. She cut Lisa's connection to the Rogue, and breathed a sigh of relief. "I cut her connection to the Rogue," she told Logan, as well as Matthew. Lisa was obviously still alive, looking confused and a little panicked. At least she was back to her old self.

Logan drove as far as he could, seeing that the car was now fast approaching. "Hold on." he growled, stopping the car and feeling the crush of the other car in pursuit behind them. He cursed as he drove off, knowing this would cause a huge news segment, but so long as he could get away and appear like a robber in order to elude humans, it's just fine with him being an invisible convict.

Jasmine shrieked, being thrown around with the weapons in the back, thankful they were all on safety for the moment. "They're gaining on us, Logan," she said, sitting up and looking back. She saw more cars speeding up behind them. "Shit, there's more of them!"

"That's it, time to get out of the city." Logan muttered as he took a shortcut that led to the outskirts of the city, completely dirt road ironically enough, but it was rarely used. "Get a gun and shoot at them. Now!" he yelled, looking over his shoulder to enforce his order and then looking at Lisa with a small smile. He then revved up the car and continued to gain speed. "Just use a rifle!"

"I'm getting one, chill," she snapped back at him, getting the rifle off safety and firing at the cars speeding behind them. As she heard gunshots that hadn't come from her own weapon, she panicked and ducked her head, using the seat for cover as she kept firing blindly, hoping she was hitting at least one of the rogues.

Well, she was hitting at the car for sure. "Try to aim for the damn hood, see if you can set off those sons of b*tches!" Logan yelled over the firing of the bullets. He was glad though that Lisa was able enough to take cover. He hissed as a bullet came through and sliced at his cheek, a small bit of blood dripping down. "Shit! Hurry up and hit something!" he yelled at Jasmine, hoping to make it to the main highway.
