| Another sigh passed her lips before she was able to answer. "What is most important right now is that you go and find her, alright? I garuantee that she's probably at the hospital. Not only might she be worried about the baby, but she could have a concussion or she might have even gone into shock." Of course Lizzy wasn't exactly presenting him with the most pleasing of ideas, but it needed to be said. |

| " I feel so bad about this happening." he sighed softly as he got ready to head out and find her. | |

| "It can't be helped. Wishing that it hadn't happened will not change the fact that it did." After saying goodbye, she politely hung up and then went back to her own children. While she was worried about Marcus and of course about Jacey's welfare, she could not ignore the fact that she had both a little boy and a little girl to look after. |

| By now Jacey had reached the hotel and was checking herself in. The nurse was amazed by the stunned, soundless expression on the young girl's face and asked her several times if she had been molested or attacked and whether or not she needed direction to the Battered Woman's shelter. Jacey shook her head wordlessly as she scribbled down her information. |

| Marcus began to wonder what they would think once he arrived. Would they think he abused her? He frowned deeply and stumbled in the snow and hugged a tree crying softly. He hated himself so much. | |

| Once everything was settled, Jacey was allowed to proceed forward and see the doctor. After a good hour or so, the doctor found that she was unhirt, except for a few scratches on her wrist and neck. The most miraculous of news, however, was learning that the baby was all right. She cried out in joy and happily thanked the doctor before leaving to go home to see Marcus. It was as she walked into the parking lot that she saw him. |

| He couldn't bear to walk inside the hospital. He didn't want people to think he abused her. He waited in the snow patiently for her. He was cold and covered in snow. | |

| Jacey noticed him right away and was surprised that he remained outside in the snow. Going to him, she wrapped her arms around him and without any second thoughts, kissed him. She knew what he was but she did not care. He could have been the devil for all she cared, she still would have stayed with him. Her warm body stayed pressed against his cold body for a very long time. |

| Jacey looked at him softly with his sad eyes and rosey red cheeks from the cold and carefully kissed him once more. The poor, wonderful man. "Oh, Sweetheart." she murmured softly, walking with him to where she had parked the car. She quickly turned on the heat and took in a few breaths. She began to remove her jacket and her sweater, remembering how body heat warmed up a person better when the two bodies were naked, or at least very close to it. |

| Jacey was unbuttoning his shirt and sliding it over his head as she asked her if the baby was alright. She looked up and smiled very brightly as she nodded her head. "Yes, the baby is great." she answered him, happily pressing her lips to his and kissing him. As her warm body pressed against his in an attempt to keep him warm, she sighed contently. |

| Marcus held her close, " I'm so sorry. I guess we should work out a system so that that never happens again." | |

| Jacey nuzzeled him. "I know that things are really hard for you right now." she said softly, gently pressing a kiss to his lips. "But I think that it is possible for us to find a way to work through this. I love you," she stopped and smiled. "I'm carrying your child, for goodness sake. I know that we'll be able to get past this." It was worth it to be with him. |

| Marcus smiled softly and kissed her back. " We will get through this. I'm new to this werewolf thing..I'll get the hang of it soon enough. I better....I don't want to hurt our baby. If I did I dunno what i'd do. I'd throw myself off a cliff" he said sadly. | |

| "Nothing bad is going to happen." she said softly, gently pressing a kiss to his cheek. "Why don't we go home? I still need to prepare something for us to eat." Smiling softly, she gently inched away from him to drive the car home. Once they were back in the warmth of her apartment, she sighed contently and went to put away her coat. |

| After pulling her brown hair back into a pony tail, Jacey retreated to the kitchen to finally put together their delayed dinner. The macaroni and cheese came out alright, albeit it a little too much on the cheesy side. Considering all that had happenend that night however, she decided that she could be excused over one little mistake. |

| Once the table was set Jacey called for Marcus so that they could eat their dinner together. It was a quick meal and was also pretty quiet for the most part. Yawning softly, Jacey got up from her seat to deposit her plate in the sink and then sat back at the table. She knew that Marcus was still a bit emotional and knew that it would be best if she stayed with him. |

| Jacey rested her hands on her stomach and thought about the little life that was growing inside of her. What would they do when the baby came? At the moment she was taking lessons at the community college and was majoring in journalism with a minor in photography. The big job to pay the bills was as a barista at Starbucks, her second job being a dogwalker. Would that be enough to support a child? |

| Marcus knew he had to find a job. He had worked as a physican and he had a major in medicine. He was going to look into a job soon probably at a drug mart that had a pharmacy.
Marcus was nervious about when the baby came. He had to control his wolf powers before the baby arrived. he would kill himself if he hurt thier baby. He just didn't trust his wolf side and he feared it. | |
