A soft sigh passed Jacey's lips and she rested her head on his shoulder. Perhaps it was silly of her to worry like she was but she honest to goodness could not help it. "I want to live a happy life with you." she said softly. "And apart of that is you being happy too. I don't want to bore you, Marcus." Jacey explained, gently nuzzeling his neck.

A gentle sigh passed from Jacey's lips. "I hope so." she murmured softly, her eyes downcast. Why was she being so cynical? This was a happy occasion! She should be happy! In nine months she would be giving birth to her first child and Marcus would be there by her side. Wasn't that a good thing! This called for a smile, not tears.

Marcus took this fear as her emotions flaring up. Marcus knew she would be very emotional. He held her and stroked her hair gently.

Jacey sighed softly and closed her eyes. A good hour was spent of her just laying in his arms with he ran his hand down her back and stroked her hair. Perhaps she really was starting to get overly emotional due to her pregnancy. Or perhaps she had ever reason in the world to be all choked up like she was. Closing her eyes, she let herself go to sleep.

Jacey slept for several hours and did not wake up until it was eight-thirty. When she awoke she found herself still quite safe and sound in Marcus's arms. She looked at him with the very soft eyes of a lover and leaned up to press her lips to his. "I love you." she whispered softly, her cheeks flushed a bright red.

" I love you too" he kissed her back. His stomach growled loudly. he didn't leave her side for those hours at all. Even if he was hungry.

Jacey smiled thoughtfully at him and then gently kissed him belly. "Hungry?" she asked, though she already knew the answer. Getting up from the bed, she took his hand and then walked with him to the kitchen. "I can make us both something quick to eat." she suggested, walking over to the pantry to take out two boxes of macaroni and cheese.

" I-Is there hot dogs left to go with it?" he asked. He was starving for a nice peice of raw meat but this would do.

"Hmm?" Jacey asked softly. She was oblivious to the fact that Marcus was a new fledling werewolf. "I suppose if you really want some." she answered, shrugging her shoulders and going over to the fridge to take out the one package that she had of hotdogs. She wrinkeled her nose. "I don't think that I'll personally want them, though."

" I don't care. I do." Marcus said as he walked out. " You don't have to cook them. Infact I'll take a steak. Raw." he said licking his lips.

Jacey blinked, surprised by the harshness in his words. Slightly wounded, she slunk back like a little kitten licking at it's wounds. It was a few minutes later that his words really sunk in and she realized that he was asking for raw meat. Raw meat wouldn't be good for him, he would get food poisoning! Sighing softly, she shook her head and left the unopened package of hot dogs on the table. Once she had emptied both boxes of macaroni into a pot she then went to take out the last two stakes from the freezer and got a knife to open them from the packages. As she cut from from them, she gasped softly as the knife cut one of her fingers.

He growled and phased as a wolf and growled " I want MEAT!: he jumped at her.

One minute Jacey had been going to get a napkin to wrap her finger, and the next she found herself on the ground, pinned there by a wolflife creature. A loud gasp passed her lips followed by a shriek. "Marcus!" she cried out in distress, not realizing that the great beast before her was indeed Marcus. She groaned softly as her head made contact with the floor, nearly knocking her out.

He growled at her and looked at the hotdogs on the table. He leaped off her and grabbed the hot dogs and ran out of the kitchen and up the stairs and under thier bed to eat.

Jacey watched helplessly as the beast leapt off of her and then grabbed the hotdogs from the table and stomped out of the room. Gasping softly, she sat up against the counter and rested her hand against the bump on her head that was starting to grow. It was tender. Groaning softly and sighing, she rested her head on her knees. "Marcus..." she murmured to herself, crying softly.

Once Marcus was finnished he curled up realizing how he lost it when he saw the food. He whimpered and crawled out of the bed and phased and grabbed the phone and went back under the bed calling lizzy. he needed help.

The food laid untouched in the kitchen, and Jacey finally got up from the floor after twenty minutes. Grabbing her jacket and her car keyes she quietly left the apartment, not wanting to disturb Marcus or the beast that had disturbed her. Her head was starting to hurt her significantly and she feared that she had gotten a concusion when she hit her head.

Lizzy had just been taking Melody out of the bath when the main phone started to go off. Sighing softly, she asked Ryan to finish dressing Melody and then went to answer it. "Hello?" she asked, her voice softer when she had seen on the caller ID that it was Marcus. She owed him a lot considering all that he had done for her that day alone.

Lizzy was stunned once all of the information was thrown at her so quickly. "W-what? Oh, my..." she murmured, the words starting to sink in. He had attacked Jacey? He would have never attacked her were it under any other circumstance. Especially concidering the fact that she was carrying his child... Oh God. "Marcus," Lizzy said calmly. "Do you know if the baby is alright?"

Lizzy sighed. She didn't want to lie and tell him that everything was going to be okay, but she also didn't want to worry him so badly that he would do something stupid like try and hurt himself. "Try and think like Jacey," Lizzy reasoned. "You said you attacked her and she might be hurt. She would probably go to the hospital to check if the baby is alright."

Lizzy sighed. "Marcus, I'm not even sure if Jacey knows that the wolf was you. Did she show any signs that she knew?" Shaking her head, she ran a hand through her hair. "Besides, it's Jacey's first child. I know what it's like the be pregnant for the first time. She's probably really worried about the baby." she reasoned, sighing thoughtfully.
