The rest of the night was spent gloriously among the two lovers, who eventually found themselves exhausted and sleep in one another's arms. While eventually they would have to step back into the miserable and difficult realities of the real world, at least they had someone by their sides to make all of the struggles worth it. Someone who they could return home to who would kiss them and love them and give them a reason to live.

The next morning Carmella would have to return to the hell that was also known as being a high school teacher. Darrick had relaxed her and now she was ready to face another day. At least at the very end she would be able to return back home to him. Smiling softly, she cuddeled into Darrick and rested her head on his shoulder. Carmella nuzzled him affectionately, understanding what he missed about having a house full of kids. "Well, Damien and Lizzy have already given us a lot of grandchildren, and between you and me I think that at least Lizzy will give us another grandchild. I can see it in Ryan's eyes that he wants a child with her." She hadn't even thought about Kimberly being pregnant with another child (which she secretly was. Her second child with Damien.)

And Nicky better give us a few grandkids." he chuckled. " And Clover. I want to be surrounded by grandkids to spoil when they come to our house for christmas and just plain visiting."

Carmella smiled and nodded her head. "Deren reminds me a lot of Damien." She missed her little boy a lot, but knew that he had grown into a well rounded man. "I wonder when he and Kimberly are going to try for another kid, if they haven't already." Not only did she know that Damien wanted a big family, but that Kimberly also did due to her lack of family while growing up.

Carmella laughed, "Damien was overjoyed to be a father!" When Kimberly had found out that she was pregnant she had hardly been married to Damien for a year. He had been nothing but happy over the aspect over starting his own family with her. Carmella would be surprised if Damien was satisfied with only child, especially since he came from a big family himself.
