Vince looked at her and shrugged. "So.. What all did you and the other girls talk about," he asked curiously, wanting to know if they told her what she truly was. What he truly was.

"You know. Christmas stuff. Tea. Breedmates. Vampires. The usual" she said with a smile, just messing with him a little.

He looked at her. "Are you afraid," he asked gently. "You've no need to be. You're safe with me," he promised.

Heather chuckled, stepping inside long enough to close the door behind her. "Well, last time I saw the clock... I do believe it was about 2 or so in the afternoon..." She crossed the room and sat down on the end of his bed. "How'd you sleep?"

Drake sighed, rubbing his eyes and leaning against the pillows. "Already it's close to the night time. I should tell you that I plan on taking you with me to meet a few brothers of mine, including their own mates. So, you won't freak out right?" he asked, grinning a bit as he turned on the light.

Heather smiled, pulling her legs up beneath her. "Well, I guess that won't be a problem... However, I don't think they'd approve of my current attire." She pulled her arms away from her chest, exposing what little she still had on that hadn't been ripped to shreds. She then sighed, pulling out her phone and texted JT to rain-check their day on the town. She'd be busy for a while no doubt.

Drake grunted, rolling his eyes with a smile. "Of course I wouldn't bring you in with ripped clothes. Imagine of the things they'd think I did to you. Obviously we'll have to go either by your place to get clothes or buy something." he said, looking over Heather and grinning. "Wouldn't you like to be spoiled?"

Heather laughed, laying down on her front-side, smiling at him. "People have tried spoiling me before... I guess it's really up to you whether you spoil me or not. Although, I can more than take care of myself love." She smirked, resting her chin on her hands.

"I'm not afraid" she said with a small smile. "Just surprised. Things make a little more sense now, knowing this stuff."

He gazed at her in quiet awe for a second before looking back to the path he was taking. "You're a brave woman," he noted quietly.

"Thanks" she said with a smile. "Of course, your kinda sisters helprd with that quite a bit. From what I hear, you're actually one of the good guys"

He chuckled, unable to help himself. "One of the good guys, huh? I suppose that's right," he mused. He'd never really thought of himself as a 'good guy'.

She smiled, thinking about how cute he was when he laughed. And then she almost laughed when she remembered what Venessa, she thinks, told her he was the leader of them all, and she thought he was cute. "That's what they told me. And that the bad guys were rogues or something that lost control of their hunger..."

Drake chuckled, nodding. "Touche, quite a point made. Then I guess I will definitely spoil you. So, I guess you could wear at least one of my jackets, just to keep yourself from getting oggled at. Your shirt isn't exactly wearable anymore." he said as he stood up and turned on the light from the lamp, opening his closet. "Take your pick, so long as it's enough to cover you."

He nodded. "Rogues and Minions are very dangerous. Did the ladies tell you what Minions are," he asked.

Heather laughed, sitting up. She let her eyes skim over his closet as best she could, holding herself from jumping immediately at the leather jacket. But she knew in her mind that that was the jacket she wanted. He'd be lucky to get it back once she got it on... "The leather one, faded, worn down, but still holds the beauty of free-living... I like it. It's very... Fitting to your personality."

Drake raised a brow as she pointed out what she would like to wear. "Huh, well then, it's all yours. I wish I was one of those boys that wore tight fitting pants, but, I'm not. You're lucky that yours aren't so torn up. The girls back home should take good care of your wound better than I could once we get there." he said as he started to change, at least his shirt and pants anyway. "Hope this isn't a gross sight or anything." he grinned.

Heather blushed, standing and sliding the jacket off the hanger. She put it on slowly, cherishing the delicious smell of him and turned around and laughed. "You can do that every day if you want..." Goodness gracious he's riiiiiipped *sigh-much!* She smirked and leaned against the wall, watching him change. He was quite the good-looking man, no doubt about that. She would easily say that she was lucky.

"No" she responded, not remembering anything about minions being mentioned. "What's a minion?" she questioned curiously.

"Only the most powerful of the Breed can make them, though it's forbidden. It's a human who's had his or her blood drained to near death, then filled with the Breed's blood. Human folklore says that is what makes a vampire, but it is false. It creates a Minion. A souless human who only lives to do his master's bidding. Once his Master dies, the Minion will die. That is how deep their connection is," he explained.

"That doesn't sound good in any way" she said, thiknking about it. She definitely never wanted to run into a minion. It was hard enough some days to deal with normal humans, much less souless ones.

He shook his head. "It's not. That's why it's forbidden, but there are still Minions out there. We're trying to find their master, or masters, before they complete what they're trying to complete. Whatever it is, it isn't good."

"Hmm I see... I'm sure you'll eventually find their masters" she said with a smile. It would be nice. It was nice just walking with him, learning more as they went.

He wondered why he was telling this female his mission, why he felt like he trusted her even though he hardly knew her. Could she possibly be the breedmate born to be his own? No, it wasn't safe for any female to be near him. Then why was he enjoying her company so much?

Once he was done, he messed with his hair a bit and then left the room. "Come on, if we don't want any unwanted vamps around, we gotta get going." he said as he waited on her by the front door.
