Irena woke up the next morning with a yawn. She got to work soon enough, but couldn't quite concentrate on her work. When it was over, it was finally starting to get dark outside, and she jumped at the chance to leave. She glanced at her watch and sighed. She wouldn't have much time to change before she met that guy at the park in a while.

Vince arrived at the park, waiting patiently for her. He easily got rid of the few Rogues that were there, not looking at all like he'd done anything of the sort, and leaned against a tree as he waited.

Irena changed out of her work clothes and went to go meet Vince at the park. She parked her car when she got there, and got out of the car. When she saw him, she smiled and walked over to him. "Hey, sorry I'm a little late" she said with a little shrug. She wasn't sure what late was, but she was just covering the bases if she was. She couldn't remember if there had been a set time or not.

"Not late," he smiled. "I was early. What do you want to do," he asked, holding out his arm for her.

She took the offered arm as she thought about it. "Not sure. Options?" she questioned. It was best to know what he'd like to do an then decide from there, she figured. Things worked better that way.

"We could walk and talk, or shop, or go out to dinner. Or whatever else you'd like to do. Up to you," he smiled.

"Let's walk and talk then" she said with a smile. It would make it easier to get to know him then, and she wouldn't have to worry about their conversations being overheard. Dinner would be good, but she figured they could save that for another night.

He smiled. "Then walking and talking it is. How was your day," he asked.

"The usual. One of the patients would take her pills though, and had to be tranquilized." she said with a smile. Things like that always gave her something to do. "How was your day?"

"I hope you weren't hurt," he said, frowning in disaproval. "My day was relatively boring. I spent most of it sleeping."

"Sleeping?" she questioned. Who slept during the day? "I wasn't hurt. Why were you sleeping during the day? Do you normally work at night? Just take jobs here and there?" She was terribly curious, though she hoped she wasn't being rude about it.

"I normally have jobs every night, but none came up for this evening." It wasn't a lie, so he went with it.

"Oh, so it's your night off then" she said with a smile. She was glad he had decided to spend it with her, even if they didn't know eachother very well. Normally she wouldn't have much to do during one of these nights.

"Yeah, you could say that," he smiled. He'd been sure to feed before he got to the park so he wouldn't want her blood so badly. But he did still want her blood - it smelled delicious.

Irena smiled and nodded. For a moment she watched a bat fly around near a lamp post, catching bugs here and there. "So, what do you like to do for fun?" she questioned. Surely he did something other than work and go to that club.

He shrugged. "Just sit around and relax. Work out, that kind of stuff. What about yourself? You don't seem the type to go to a bar regularly."

"Hmm. Yes, that's true. I don't go out much. I spend most of my time at work or home, though there is the occasion when I might go out with a few friends to the movies. Other than that, I just sit around, watch TV, and listen to music when I feel like it" she said after thinking for a moment. She really didn't do much, since she's normally single and she doesn't bother with visiting family much.

He chuckled. "Well, perhaps we could start spending some of our free time together," he suggested.

Irena couldn't help but to smile at the thought. "Sounds like a good idea" she agreed sincerely. He was the type she wouldn't mind hanging out with in her spare time, and it would give her something interesting to do.

Vince smiled. "Excellent. I'm looking forward to it," he chuckled.

"So am I, sounds like a fitting way to spend my time" she said with a laugh. There was something that really seemed off about Vince, but she couldn't quite peg it. Every now and then she'd watch him, to see if she could figure out just what it would be.

He laughed with her, looking like he was really enjoying their walk. Oddly enough, he was. Kind of. He felt oddly possessive of this woman, though he hardly new her. How strange...

Irena looked up at the moon, studying it. This guy was really somethin else. "So, anything intersting I should know about? Do you have six toes or maybe a criminal record?" she said with a smile. Might as well get this out of the way. For all she knew, he had kids in florida and dealed in drugs.

He chuckled. "No. Ten toes," he teased. "I don't want to scare you, but I'm always carrying a weapon around with me. Either a sword or a gun. Safety measures," he added in explanation, though he looked like he was a weapon. "I won't hurt you, just telling you in advance."

"Good to know" she said with a smile. She was just glad she was not on his bad side, and figured she should try to keep it that way. Maybe that was what she was sensing that was different about him?

He smiled, glad to see she wasn't afraid. "So, what about you," he asked curiously.
