Drake smiled a bit at her words. She certainly was something different. "Well, for me and my comrades.....It's better if they explained themselves, but for me, I was taught severely to never bite the hand that feeds you, so to speak. I think it's inhuman to just kill and feed as you like, even if we are dead. We were human once, so, I may not feel it but I do think it, I have my memories.." he explained, taking a deep breath. "It might hurt a bit, so, feel free to curse.." he mumbled, kissing the one spot he planned to bite, and afterwards, he sunk his fangs in quickly and hopefully, painlessly.

She took a sip of her beer before setting it down. She scratched the back of neck where her birthmark was, out of habit. She took a moment to glance around the room, and took a look at the clock. She'd have to leave in about an hour. "So, anything particularly interesting you wanna talk about?" she questioned.

He noticed her birthmark and blinked, and realized she probably didn't know what she was. She wouldn't be in a place like this if she did. "That's an interesting birthmark," he said casually, his fingers touching it lightly. It sure wasn't a tattoo.

"Hmm?" she said, then realized what he was talking about. "Oh yeah, that. I always thought it looked like a tear drop. When I was younger I though it was cool, but now I don't think about it much." she said with a shrug. When you're born with something, you don't give it much thought.

"This might seem like an odd question, but I'm curious... Do you have a boyfriend," he asked.

"Um, nope. Haven't had one in a year." she said with a shrug. "Why? You want the job?" she joked with a smile. He was cute, and she wouldn't mind dating him, but she'd let him make that decision.

He thought about that a moment. He wasn't really looking for a mate, but she was beautiful, as all Breedmates were. The problem was that she didn't know she was a Breedmate. He smiled, playing along. "Are you asking me out," he joked back.

"Maybe" she said with a grin. "Maybe not. Haven't made my mind up yet" she said with a shrug. Nonetheless she let her mind linger a little on the idea. Normally she'd say she didn't have time for trivial things such as boyfriends. "You were the one questioning my status" she said with a laugh.

He laughed. "I suppose I was. Well, would you like to go out sometime," he smiled.

"Sure, why not?" she said with a smile. "When and where?" she questioned. She figured they'd need to exchange numbers before she left too, but she'd let that come in time.

He smiled. "How about... The park tomorrow night," he suggested. "Right after sundown."

Heather blushed, mumbling curses under her breath that turned into moans. She gripped onto him, prevent herself from stumbling and falling to the ground. "It... It doesn't hurt..." She closed her eyes and stopped struggling against him. She was afraid of what might happen. She was more than worried that he might not stop, but after what he'd just said... Well, she was pretty sure that he would know when. So, she wasn't afraid... At least, not at the moment. Now was a time when she would let him do what he wanted, no matter what ended up happening afterwards...

Drake drank his fill, only taking around a few minutes. He knew the limit that humans had all too well. Pulling away, he shuddered and licked whatever excess was coming from the bite. He then laid her on the couch, seeing that she was now dizzy and lightheaded. "Need something to drink?" he asked, licking his lips so not to look any more animalistic.

Heather blushed when he withdrew his fangs, sighing as her blood started to recirculate throughout her body. "Mmmm... I'd like some... Tea. Sweet Tea. That sounds absolutely amazing right now..." She smiled gently, her hand reaching up to touch her neck. She left her hand there for a moment, feeling the wounds heal as she brought her fingers to her lips and eye-lids. "I won't need much looking after though."

Drake chuckled as he got up and went to the kitchen. He looked in the fridge, finding the container and grabbing a glass. At least from the dishwasher anyway. Pouring her the sweet tea, he sat beside her on the arm of the couch and helped her drink it. "I hope I didn't affect you too much.." he said, knowing that drinking blood made the being almost even pass out if not strong enough.

Heather chuckled, taking the glass in her hand as she finished drinking it herself. She was alot stronger than she looked. She smiled, finishing off the glass. "I'll be fine thanks... So, explain our relationship to me. I'm not quite sure on all the details..."

"I think I could make that work. Sounds like a plan" she said with a grin. She'd be off work by then, but she'd have to go home and change out of her work clothes before meeting him there. It had been a while since she's been on a date. She glanced at the clock and decided she'd have to leave soon, since she had work the next morning. She finished her beer and stood. "Hey, I've got to go... Work in the morning" she said with a shrug.

He smiled. "Alright. See you tomorrow. Have a safe trip home."

"See ya" she said, gave him a smile, and walked out of the place. Now she had something to look forward to. She jumped into her car and sat there for a moment before driving home and goin to bed. She was exhausted, and it was really late- or really early, depending on the way you looked at it.

He smiled and watched her leave, then yawned, sitting back in his seat. Now, to catch a snack really quick... Meh. He'd probably just catch one on the way back to the compound.

Irena slept through the night well enough, though it took her a while to fall asleep. She kept on thinking about that guy she'd met. Even so, she finally drifted off till her alarm woke her up to more than about 5 hours later.

Drake scoffed and sighed. Here it comes. "Well, technically, you're just supposed to give birth to our children....But, there have been relationships before that even happens, but ours is a bit more complex. Eh, it's way to complicated." he said, shaking his head. "What would you like it to be? So long as I can..feed, of course." he said, grinning.

Vince grabbed a drink from a girl in an alleyway on the way back to the compound and took a shower once he reached his own private quarters before he headed to bed.

Heather smiled gently. "Well, I can see how that would be rather simple and easy to deal with. I think, though, that I'd like to have a relationship with you... To give the sex a more real base... And of course you'll be able to feed. I wouldn't tell you know. I wouldn't be able to resist your boyish charms..."

Drake gulped and whistled. "Sex? Well, that's bold of you..." he said, chuckling and sighing. Already the women of this generation were getting more forward than the last. "So, you want a relationship with a vampire? Even though it's inevitable that you're to have our children?" he asked, raising a brow.
