She kissed his cheek then got into the car, starting to drive. "You should anyways. It wouldnt have mattered, I could have asked for a doggy bag for the food and then left. I don't want you in pain."

Jake sighed, rolling his eyes. "Yeah but, you hardly hung out with your dad since the whole mess with Dustin...so, it'd be unfair." he said, looking out the window and taking deep breaths.

"It's unfair to make you sit there in pain also." she said, looking down at his stomach. "Oh my god, Jake, you're bleeding..."

((I was thinking his stitch could pop or something. nothing real bad.))

Jake shuddered, looking down with wide eyes. "Oh crap...Great! W-We gotta goto the hospital." he said as he saw his shirt start to get stained red.

She nodded, already going there. "You'll be okay, Jake."

Jake grunted, sighing. "God it sucks to be me right now." he cursed, gritting his teeth as they neared the hospital.

Charisma sighed. "I'm sorry baby.." she said softly, parking the car by the emergency room.

Jake panted, getting out and somehow making it to the entrance with Charisma. "I-I'll be ok. It's just a stitch." he mumbled, his vision starting to fail a bit from the pain. It was mind-numbing.

"but you're bleeding..." she said, her face white as she went to the help counter and were almost instantly seen.

Jake barely made it to the counter with Charisma, his state obviously being from close to the point of passing out. "Christ, someone escort these two to the ER!" the nurse yelled as an assistant heard and guided them to a room. Obviously he had to be seen immediately.

Charisma was given paper work to fill out and told to wait in the waiting room. She kissed Jake's cheek as he was rushed away and sat, filling the paper work out again.

It was just over an hour until he was cleaned up and stitched again. This time he was wrapped in bandages and extremely advised to stay in bed and only get up when necessary. He walked into the room, walking weirdly but still upright. "Let's go home, hm?" he asked as he walked over to get discharged and paid the deductible(which was low thanks to his health insurance) from his own wallet.

Once Charisma saw him, she got up and wrapped an arm around him so he could lean on her. "Yeah. We'll get you kn bed. Maybe I'll make you lunch or something. Since you deserve it."

Jake grunted, sighing. "Don't mention food. I just want the bed with you in it." he said breathlessly. As they walked to the car, he cursed. It was starting to rain on them both pretty heavily, soaking them to the bone.

She got him to the car and got him inside. she slipped on the the way to the drivers side, nothing serious, just her being clumsy. She got in, chuckling to herself. She'd make sure she wasn't cut when she got home.

Jake sighed, shivering a bit as they got in the car from the rain. "Guess we'll have to take a warm shower when we get home. Great." he said, hating to get his new bandages (clean too) off. It hurts already enough getting them on.

she shook her head as she started driving. "No, that's okay. It's only water." She shrugged.

Jake nodded, sighing. "Good point. At least we left the heater on." he said, closing his eyes and almost falling asleep on the way home.

Charisma got them home and rubbed his shoulder. "Want me to help you into the apartment?"

"No, I'm fine.." Jake said, shaking his head as he got out of the car slowly. He couldn't just rely on her forever until he recovered. Plus, his stitches felt pretty well done. They weren't going to be undone again, not for a while. They would dissolve on their own.

Even though he said no, she went around the car and wrapped her arm around his waist so he could lean on her.

Jake groaned quietly, going to their apartment and inside. He was glad to be out of the rain and in the warmth of their home. He then started to at least take off his shirt and pants on the way to their room. "I need sleep.." he groaned.

She pulled off his shirt with him and helped him into bed. "Then sleep. I'll be here when you wake up." she said softly, kissing his cheek.

Jake sighed, feeling dizzy even as he laid down. "Thanks..." he mumbled, closing his eyes and falling asleep almost immediately.

She bent over him and kissed his cheek. "I love you." she whispered then left quietly, closing his door. Figureing she had a few hours, she took his lap top, curled up on the couch and went job hunting.
