"It was funny, but... How can a pack do all those things and still be considered a pack," she asked him quietly. "A pack is your family, they're supposed to support you, not abuse you in multiple ways."

He sighed. "I know... We wern't a very good pack." He mumbled.

"But now you're a member of our pack," she reminded him. "We're here for each other."

He looked down at her and smiled. "Good. I'm happy here." he said. With you he added in his mind.

She smiled. "I'm glad," she said. Truly, she was. She did like him, though she was still mourning Al, and she didn't like him enough to be his mate. *yet*

He smiled. "So..." He sighed, thinking of what to say now.

Raini shrugged, sighing softly. She couldn't think of anything to talk about, either.

He looked down at her, wishing that he'd be able to kiss those lips of hers. He sighed and looked away, hoping she wouldn't notice.

She didn't notice; she was looking down at the ground as they walked slowly, gently rubbing her stomach that still hadn't grown. She prayed silently for it to be a girl; she wanted Al to be happy.

He looked at her again, noticing she was rubbing her belly. "Does it hurt?" he asked. He'd never been able to talk to a pregnant woman about what she was feeling.

She shook her head. "No. I was telling the baby to be a girl," she chuckled sheepishly. "I be I sound silly."

He smiled, shaking his head. "It's not silly. You really want a girl?"

She nodded. "Al wanted a girl. I hope having a girl will make him happy, even now," she murmured quietly.

"That makes sense." he said softly. "What if you do have a girl. Will you be happier or sadder?"

"I'm not sure," she said honestly. "But I know I'll still love my baby," she rubbed her stomach again gently, absentmindedly.

He nodded. "I'm sure you will." he said.

She smiled and nodded in agreement.

He nodded, kissing her cheek. "It'll be okay. I'll be with you."

She looked up at him, wondering if it was because he was trying to make up for his pack's actions or something else. She didn't let it show on her face, however. "Thank you," she told him.

he smiled, rubbing her back. "You're welcome."

She smiled. "What do you want to do?"

He looked at her. "What do you mean?"

She shrugged. "Well, I'm bored of walking around and doing nothing. I was wanting to know if you wanted to do anything," she told him.

"What is there to do?" he asked.

"We could eat, walk around, sit by the fire and talk with the rest of the pack, go hunting (though I can't)... That's about it, really," she smiled sheepishly.
