"You let them give you hickeys," Iris shook her head.

They raised their eyebrows at her. "Why is he over here so early, huh? The sun's barely been up for two hours."

Now Iris was the one with the red face.

Dameon shook his head.

[tired...braindead...ate too much... i'mma go die now... x.x]

( Just have them make the conclusions of why she left early and what happened)

[Kay. I'm so sorry. I'm gonna go to bed after this. I'll see you tomorrow night. I might reply early tomorrow morning, too.]

They gaped at her, seeing her face turn so red. "Iris, you didn't!"

"Ohh, girl, spill," she began, then shook her head, glancing at him. "Outside. Come on, go shopping with us. You need to get out more, anyway."

Dameon rolled his eyes.

[Couldn't sleep >< TOO EXCITED!!!]

Iris groaned, shaking her head. "No, leave me alone," she mumbled.

Dameon blinked as he heard the men from the other night banging on the door.


" Girls not to break up this pow wow but go hide" he siad talking out his gun.

All of the girls, including Iris, looked at the door with surprised, startled, and scared expressions, before Iris got up and ushered them into her laundry room, where there were no windows. Before closing the door, Iris looked back at Dameon with a worried expression. "Be careful," she whispered and closed the door, trying to quiet her friends down so they wouldn't attract attention.

Dameon nodded " I will"

Once they were all quiet, Iris huddled down with them, hiding in the corner where the dryer obstructed anyone's view of them from the doorway.

Dameon quit breathing. It only caused noise. He breathed around her to not freak her out. No matter how much she was comfortable with his undeadliness not breathing seemed to freak humans out. He loaded his gun and hid behind the island counter in the kitchen.

The guys ended up kicking the door open, breaking both the chain lock and the deadbolt. They frowned, growling, looking around. They could hear the girls' heartbeats, but they could also smell one of the Breed in the apartment.

" Hello!" he jumped out shooting bullets at their heads.

They growled and fired back, three of the five dying as Dameon fired bullets into their brains. One of the others dropped something on the ground, seemingly by accident, but didn't pick it up. Once the other heard the metal part fall to the ground, they both grinned and ran out the door.

"No" he said.

Iris heard her door slam and risked slowly getting up and slowly, silently opening the door to the laundry room to peek in through the crack. Seeing no one but Dameon, she opened the door a little more.

Dameon picked it up and ran out of the apartment. The bomb went off in the hallway.

Iris and the girls screamed at the sound of the explosion. Iris hurried the girls to the fire escape and grabbed her fire extinguisher, going out into the hallway and spraying the pressurized water at the flames. "Dameon," she called, coughing through the smoke. "Dameon, where are you?"

" Iris" he called. " grab what you need. We're gonna be on the road for awhile" he said through the smoke.,

She coughed from the smoke. "Get out of the fire first, at least," she said before spraying more pressurized water at the flames to push them back.

" Just hurry and get the stuff.
He said.

Not in the mood for arguing, she ran back into her apartment and grabbed some clothes, stuffing them into a bag, and her purse, which held her camera, film, and money. "Okay, I got everything," she called into the smoke.

He took her hand and teleported them.

Iris held onto his hand, afraid to let go. She was surrounded by heat and smoke one minute, and the next, she wasn't.
