| "Jason..." Molly droned. "You're eight years old and haven't taken a nap since you were a little, little boy. Why is it that one minute you're asking a question about your father out of no where and then the next you want to 'nap?'" Sighing softly, she sat at the foot of his bed. "You just said not too long ago that we've always been together. Why can't you talk to me?" |

| " I don't know. I feel really really confused and sad." he said burring his face in his pillow | |

| "You're too young to be confused and sad." Molly said quietly. After a few minutes of silence she finally left his room, though unsure of what to do. A part of her felt that now she needed to introduce Jason to his father, though another part feared that the shock of meeting his father after so long would only be bad for him. It really was a hard call. |

| Introducing him probably would be good for him and Dom. | |

| After thinking long and hard about it she decided to give Dom a call and propose that he come over for dinner. After she had done it she sighed to herself and went to tell Jason about it. "Jason," she said softly, knocking on the door. "Are you napping or are you awake so that I can tell you a surprise?" she asked, carefully opening the door and walking in. |

| Molly sighed and decided not to wake him. He would just learn the surprise when the surprise came. Luckily she wasn't planning on preparing anything too special and didn't need to worry about getting Jason up and having him get dressed in fancy dress clothes. She would probably only have him brush his hair and wash his face. The usual kind of stuff. |

| Molly scurried about the kitchen, deciding at the last minute to make spaghetti and meatballs. While she normally only made spaghetti and meatballs under Jason's request, she decided it would be a simple meal that would fit the current occasion. While she wasn't looking to restart her relationship with Dom, she at least wanted Jason to be happy. |

| Dom would start to feel better if he got to know his son a bit. It would be a little uplifting in his bleak depressing life. | |

| Dom would be arriving within an hour and Molly was trying to wake up a groggy Jason. "Come on, Hunny," she grunted, shaking him gently. "You need to wake up. I think you should shower and get freshened up before dinner." she urged. It was getting harder to wake him up! It had been easier when he had been a child. |

| "Because there is going to be a surprise at dinner today and I think that you should look nice for when you see your surprise." Molly answered, not wanting to give away what was going on. "Nothing too funny, just some nice jeans and a polo shirt if you don't mind." she added, trying to peel him off the bed. "Please?" |

| " Ok" he said as he got up and ruffled his hair. He looked like Dom in so many ways. He went to his dresser and pulled out his batman underwear and some socks. He went to the bathroom and turned on the shower " AHHH" he laughed getting sprayed. " MOOOMMM" he laughed trying to pull the curtain. He still had trouble with the shower. He didn't get the concept of pulling the curtain before turning the shower on. | |

| "Jason!" Molly groaned, sighing and shaking her head. When was he going to learn? It wasn't as if he were an old dog! Walking into the shower she pulled the shower closed for him, something she knew he would grow to resent as he grew older and started to go through puberty. "Wash behind your ears, Mister. The whole shebang." This dinner was kind of special. |

| Jason laughed, " BUt mommy I like the potato ears." he smiled as he grabbed his spiderman soap and put it on his hulk squishy ball and lathered up. " SPIDERMAAAANN SPIDERMANNN" he sung and laughed throwing his bottle of soap on the floor of the bath tub and kicked it around singing and carring on. He loved showering like a big person though he tended to flood the floor with water. | |

| Molly dressed in a casual chic sort of fashion, considering whether or not she should put on her pearls. Deciding in the end to wear them, she sighed softly to herself. Dom would be there any minute. Despite not wanting to restart her relationship with him, she still found herself very concernd with how she looked and what he would think. |

| "Jason!" Molly gasped, seeing his naked booty from the corner of her eye. "He's going to be- it's going to be time for dinner soon!" she cried. Running out of the room she grabbed him and hurried him into his room. "Please, get ready. You cannot be late for dinner today, alright?" She was not going to be left alone with Dom for a prolonged period of time! |

| "Come on, Jason hunny. I made you your favorite dinner. Please get dressed for Mommy." Sighing Molly walking away from the door and waited impatiently in the living room. Inviting Dom was a stupid idea, she was already full heartedly regretting it very much with every fiber of her being. What had she expected to happen? |

| Jason frowned noticing how edgy his mom was being. He got dressed and came downstairs. " I'm dressed" he sighed and sat down on the sofa. " Why are you being edgy mom? I was only playing." | |

| Molly sighed softly and lovingly tousled her son's hair. "I'm sorry, Sweetheart." she said softly, looking at him with a gentle smile. "I'm just a little anxious because tonight's dinner is very special. I have a surprise for you, Jason. Within a few minutes you will see what it is and I'm sure that you will be very happy." Jason and Dom were mirror images, aside from Jason's eyes. He would know right away who Dom was. |

| Molly smiled and then glanced over at the clock. Her smile was quickly erased and was exchanged with a frown when she saw that Dom was a few minutes late. Glaring she got up from the couch. Somehow she saw herself grabbing a bottle of wine and getting sloshed so that she hardly had to acknoqledge Dom. Sighing she went over to the wine cabinet and poured a small glass to calm her nerves. |
