Russel coughed uncomfortably. "It, um, would probably be better if we arrived seperately." Even if he were to wear a disguise, some looney toon fangirl would probably notice him arrive with her. Thus blowing their cover and labeling Alex as his secret lover. If they showed up seperately, even if he was to be caught, it was less likely for Alex to be caught in the crossfire.

"Yeah, sure," she agreed, relieved. "I'll meet you there at seven, then," she gave him a smile before she looked around, noticing the clean-up staff was giving her impatient glares. "I think I should get going... See you tomorrow," she flashed him a grin before she went to grab Jen and get out to their car.

"See you tomorrow." he echoed quietly, watching her leave. She was a sort of vice, just like alchohol or drugs. All he needed to do was get over her and then things would be able to go back to how they once were. Retreating to his dressing room, he sighed quietly to himself as he poured himself a small shot glass of whiskey.

Alex drove Jen home and then went back to her own house, grabbing something to eat before she went to take a shower.

He couldn't help but grin to himself once he had downed the shot of liquoir. At least he had something to lighten the mood. Thank the Lord above, he still had it when it came to the ladies. Slamming down the shot glass he grabbed the keys to his car and then went off to his apartment.

After her shower, Alex got into her bed clothes (baggy pants and a tank top) and got into bed, falling asleep nearly immediately.

The next morning Russel woke up late. "Shit!" he muttered under his breath, cursing his bad luck and lousy timing. Jumping into the shower, he quickly bathed, and then was out in a few minutes. After getting dressed, her grabbed a hat and a pair of sunglasses, his only real form of disguise, and then left.

Alex got up at her usual time and had plenty of time to get ready. She picked out something appropriate for the type of restaurant they were going to, but still trying not to impress Russel.

Russel was in such a rush that he nearly forgot to put on his hat and sunglasses before arriving at the restuarant. He'd nearly run five red lights, and hadn't stopped at one stop sign. Where was his head that morning? Once he arrived at the restuarant, he sighed, resting his head against the steering wheel.

Alex got to the restaurant exactly on time and got out, sighing. At least the place wasn't that busy, she thought, looking around the parking lot. She noticed someone, it looked like a man, in sunglasses with his head against his steering wheel.

He cursed himself for a few minutes before getting up. Placing on the fedora hat, he sighed, thankful for once that he ddin't have his old, wild curly hair. It would have looked pretty silly right about now. In the corner of his eyes, he noticed a girl. Alex? He turned slightly to look at her.

Alex saw the man turn towards her and tensed, ready to run. She blinked, thinking he looked familiar. Russel? She smiled politely, in case it wasn't, and started towards the front door of the restaurant.

At least he knew that his disguise was more convincing then it had looked at first. Sighing softly, he followed behind Alex into the restaurant. "It's me." he whispered softly, resting his hand on her shoulder. "nothing to be scared of."

Alex jumped and looked back at him, then let her held breath out. "You fooled me," she said, calming down. "Where do you want to sit," she asked, speaking quietly.

"I had my manager have a table reserved for us under his name." he said, smiling softly at her. Walking over to the concierge, he asked for the Jones, party of two. They were then lead to their table, and given two menus.

"Oh," she said, following him to the table. "That would make more sense." She sat down and thanked the waiter for the menu before looking it over. "So, your manager didn't yell at you for taking time away from your busy schedule," she asked with a raised eyebrow.

Russel didn't feel like getting too much into detail the fact that his manager didn't care what he did as long as it didn't bring bad media attention to him. He shrugged his shoulders. "I don't pay him to be my babysitter." he said simply.

She smiled, letting out a chuckle. "I see. Hmm," she said, looking back down at her menu. "Have you been here before? What would you recommend," she asked, not quite knowing what she was in the mood for.

"The shrimp scampi is really good." Russel said, pointing to the listing on the menu. "Espeically if you have if with a glass of this wine," he added, using his pinky to point to the brand of wine on the menu that he was referring to.

"Too bad I'm underage," she chuckled, continuing to scan over the menu. "But it does sound good. Hmm... Maybe I will go with the shrimp scampi," she thought aloud.

Russel crigned slightly remembering that she was underage. He was too used to getting liquoir and beer whenever he wanted, and hanging out with college drops outs who were other of age to drink, or were willing to sneak it if it meant that they could be with him. "Alright." he said, smiling when she considered the shrimp scampi.

Alex ordered a glass of iced tea with the shrimp scampi, seeing nothing else she thought sounded good at the moment.

Russel ordered his meal quietly, a sirloin steak and a glass of whiskey. He wasn't a nice guy. This was only proving that. Who was he kidding thinking that by taking out some Plain Jane good girl he would get over himself. He had a lust for life, and was into any girl that had a pulse and was of age. Alex was a good girl, and he had no business going out with her, even if this wasn't techniqually a date.

Actually, if Alex' mom was out of town like she would be next month, Alex wouldn't mind having a drink or two, since she wouldn't get caught. But they were in public, and she looked the age that she was. She'd only get in trouble for ordering wine.

Alex mixed some sweetener in with her tea and stirred it using her straw, nabbing a bread role from the basket and nibbling on it.

She was also the first girl that he was having dinner with who's greatest achievement wasn't putting her ankle's behind her ears in a very long time. He took a sip of his drink, and watched her quietly as she spun her straw in her drink, stirring in the sugar.
