| When the morning finally came, and the soft golden rays of sunlight poked in through the gossamer curtains, Mary yawned softly, her head resting on Julian's shoulder. The night's love making had been soft and tender, being equal to what kind of person Julian was. As she let her body wake up, she yawned softly, and then smiled when she looked down and saw him. |

| Julian sighed, holding onto Mary as she started to move a bit. He didn't ever want to get up from bed for the whole day. "Is it day?" he asked groggily, nuzzling her neck and kissing her bare shoulder. The night before was definitely amazing, something out of a romance novel. | |

| Mary chuckled softly and gently kissed his cheek. "I'm afraid so, Love." she murmured, and then glanced over at a clock on the wall. It wasn't too late in the morning, though. It was around six thirty o'clock. They could still probably sleep until seven. Any later, though, and she feared the maids would start having gossip fits all over again. |

| Julian groaned, shaking his head. "I don't ever want to get up....Just stay in bed with me all day, under the sheets and just enjoy each other.." he said, chuckling and yawning quietly. "Did you sleep well?" he asked. | |

| Mary blushed softly and then nodded her head. When she really thought about it, they had been up most of the night. Neither of them had really done any sleeping until much later on. Gently nuzzling his neck, she yawned and then got up from the bed to retrieve her robe. "Eventually we'll need to get ready. Even if it's the last thing we want to do." |

| Julian twitched, watching Mary stand and grabbing her robe. "Why should we bother to even get up? I mean, I've no reason to go anywhere today, well, maybe later to go out for a stable income." he muttered, sighing. Laying back on the pillow, he rubbed his eyes. | |

| Mary laughed. "Well, if you really want, we could have the servants bring up our breakfast." She really didn't feel like leaving the room and walking down the stairs to a sea of gossiping maids just yet. Not to mention she was still tired from the night before. The thought of playing hooky didn't sound that bad. |

| Julian chuckled and nodded. "Yeah. You're right." he said, getting up and getting on his own robe. He hugged Mary once more, nuzzling her neck to catch her scent. She just smelled lovely and had a glow about her. Leaving the room, he got the attention of one of the maids, asking her to start on breakfast. Coming back up, he yawned and rubbed his eyes again. "Bath?" | |

| Mary watched as he left and chuckled softly to herself. She walked into her closet to pick out the outfit that she would be wearing that day. Of course, though, she would need to shower first. Needless to say she was quite pleased when he offered that they have a basin of hotwater brougth up. |

| Julian smiled, chuckling. "Ok then, together?" he asked, wondering whether Mary wanted to wash herself on her own. He took some clothes from his closet and yawned once more. He might as well start to go out again, to find a stable job. He knew the money from the inheritance wouldn't last long. | |

| Mary nodded her head, and then chuckled. "Sure." she answered, gently smoothing out the silk like material of her dressing robe. Getting up from the bed, she walked over to him to gently kiss his cheek, and then walked into the bathroom. Within fifteen minutes or so the maids had a bsdin of hot water brought up for them. |

| Julian smiled, following after once the water was brought up. He could see the steam rising from the tub, signaling that it was ready. "Alright then, ladies first?" he asked, chuckling as he took off his robe. He had let it hang around his waist, covering a certain genitalia of his so not to ruin her morning or anything if she was still meek. | |

| "Thank you." Mary said softly, modestly disrobing and then gently getting into the bath tub. She wasn't too shy now that they had made love for a second time. Things felt a little more natural now, and the air between them wasn't as tense with lust and shyness. They could just be themselves. |

| Julian followed in, sighing as the warm water surrounded him. It was nice since his muscles were a tad tense. They hadn't exactly spent the night laying to sleep. "I'm glad it's not raining today. So, perhaps later on we could just go out on a walk?" he asked, smiling. | |

| Mary smiled softly. That sounded like a perfect way to spend the day with Julian. "Alright," she said, nodding her head. "I would like that." Gently grabbing the soap and a wash cloth, she leaned over and gently started to clean him. She still felt like she was in the after glow of that night. |

| Julian went a tad red, but he smiled still. "Mary, you don't have to do this for me.." he said, holding her hand over his heart. He sighed, leaning down and kissing her softly. He still felt as if numbed, his whole body was just waking up and sensitive. It was an incredible night with his wife. "Let me?" he asked, taking the wash cloth and cleaning her off. | |

| Mary chuckled softly, a small blush on her cheek. "Sure." she said softly, letting him wash. It did seem a bit hypocritical that he didn't want her to wash him, yet he was washing her. It wasn't something that she was going to point out, though she thought that it was cute of him to want to put her needs ahead of his and take care of her before he was taken care of. |

| It was nothing near hypocritical! Mary had suffered enough, why not just let her own husband tend to her needs for once? Plus, he was never comfortable with her doing things for him. It felt as if he were just like the men whom kissed her just for luck. | |

| Well, Mary supposed that she could understand his few on that, then. She closed her eyes and sighed softly as he gently ran the cool wash cloth against her back. Mary felt thankful that most of her scars were on her feet and elbows, so that way he wouldn't have to see them first thing. |

| Julian smiled as he heard the soft sigh from Mary. He must've been doing something right. He wrapped one arm around her waist after finishing her back and rear, pulling her close. "Would you want me to wash the rest, dear?" he asked, placing the cloth over her hand just in case. | |

| Chuckling softly, she rested her head against his chest when he wrapped his arm around her waist and brought her closer to him. Hearing him ask if she wanted to have him continue to wash her, she nodded her head softly. He really did respect her so much, always asking if she were alright with him doing certain things. It was humbeling, almost. |

| Though, this consideration wasn't looked up with a lot of pride. Many men were cruel and inconsiderate. Julian was just glad that Mary wasn't one of those women whom didn't want much luxury towards being treated well. He sighed, kissing her neck softly in affection as he continued washing her. | |

| A small laugh passed her lips as he kissed her neck, and she happily turned to kiss his cheek. She would be happy with Julian no matter what sort of life they made lead. Whether they be poor or rich, she was sure that Julian would still always be the same, kind man that she was deeply in love with. |

| The bath seemed to pass by awfully fast, in which made Julian wonder how it even happened. Still, as he was already getting dressed, he glanced at Mary. "Well then, I think I might skip on breakfast. I can't seem to stand still since I keep thinking back to that fortune....I just have a bad feeling it'll fly out of our hands within days.." he said, sighing and shaking his head. | |

| "Don't take your grandmother's inheritence lightly. It is a lot of money that she has left you." Mary reminded him, gently brushing some of her hair from her eyes. "And don't you forget it." she added. The money that his grandmother had left him was more than her father could make in three years. |
