| Julian coughed, blushing and looking down, away from where Mary stood to dress. "G-Guess we got carried away..." he mumbled, getting up and grabbing simple clothing such as a shirt and vest with dress pants. Easy to put on and nothing extravagant. He wasn't embarrassed, but Charles probably had an idea on what was going on. | |

| It felt like being newly weds all over again. Except that this time they were not trying to not have sex. It was quite the opposite, actually. Not that anyone was trying to make it easy for them. Love was supposed to be a challenge, and it seemed that love making was even more of a challenge. |

| Perhaps it was more of a challenge because there was nothing holding them back? No will to tell them it was wrong. That it was forbidden until a certain time frame. As so many thoughts went through Julian's head, he looked over at Mary. How could he be tense and nervous? He had a beautiful bride! A wife, which was even better. He nodded, telling himself that tonight was the night! Hopefully....."Well then, let's get downstairs, shall we?" he asked as he opened the door and went through, expecting that she would follow since it was dinnertime. | |

| Mary nodded her head. "But of course." she murmured softly, gently tying a sash around her waist and then walking out the door and down to the kitchen. The food smelled even better as she got closer, and for a minute, she was willing to forgive the fact that it was cutting into intimate time with Julian. |

| Julian grinned as he saw foods that were too glamorous to eat. Chicken, potatoes, vegetables, just all piled onto plates for them in which made it all the harder to not eat it. He sat down after pulling out the chair for Mary and stared down at his plate. "Wow, this is nice." he said, even amazed himself as he then grabbed a fork and started eating. | |

| It certainly was a big leap up from all of the fish that they had eaten while they were at the cabin. While it had been nice being in their own little world, she had to admit that she liked all of the glamorous looking food that was on the table before them. "Wow.." she murmured, nodding her head. |

| Julian smiled, chuckling. "Come on, eat." he said, shaking his head as he continued to eat. It tasted great, as usual. Though, it tasted a bit better with the help of the atmosphere. He had asked for candle light and they certainly pulled off a dim and romantic air in the room without trying. | |

| Of course the maids couldn't help themselves, squealing and gossiping happily in the kitchen. They just loved watching the Master and Mistress together. This was their theater, so to speak. Every now and then they would try and peek to see what the two were doing. |

| At times, Julian swore he heard a squeak. But then again, he wasn't oblivious to the gossiping between staff. He yawned as he finished his dinner, taking a quick glance towards the door to the kitchen, seeing a few eyes peeking back and then closing the door once their eyes met. He chuckled quietly as he then dug into the dessert which was a nice caramel flan. | |

| Mary was not used to being on the other end of the door. As a chimney sweeps daughter, she was used to going to wedding for people to follow the tradition of kissing the sweep. And she was also used to having to eat in the kitchen while all of the blue bloods sat in the dining room, eating and talking smugly. And she was even more used to hearing the maids gossip. She wasn't used to them gossiping about her, though. |

| Well, despite titles, everyone is part of gossip. This was a grim time in which people just didn't have the respect for others as years before. He knew this fact well and didn't let it bother him so long as his reputation or Mary's well being was put in the mix. He looked up at Mary, smiling. "Enjoying the meal I hope?" | |

| "Yes, it's really good." Mary said, chuckling softly. She was able to get over the giggling maids about twenty minutes into the meal. While it was steal annoying to hear them tittering in the background, she decided that it was best to focus on how happy she was with Julian. She did love him, after all. |

| Julian could hear the giggling as well, it still hadn't stopped. Still, he was hoping she would hurry with the meal. He just wanted to go back to their bedroom and just talk, without any added and unwanted noises. "Are you almost done, Mary?" he asked, smiling and patient. | |

| Mary was partially through her dessert, though she was one 100% into the idea of saying that she was full. "Yes." she said, smiling softly and gently placing down her fork. "The dinner was delicious." she said, hoping that it was loud enough that all of the maids culd here. At least then they would be listening to something good about them. |

| After all the giggling, it went silent. Julian wanted to laugh but of course, kept his mouth shut. "Well then, let's go on upstairs." he smiled, getting up and walking over to Mary. He held out his arm a bit for her to take, wanting to be a good gentleman. | |

| Mary Anne had to bite her lips to stop herself from laughing, and even then she couldn't surpress the grin on her lips. Well, that had gotten them to settle down. Taking his arm, she smiled at him, and then walked out of the dining room with him. So far the night had seemed to fair well. A nice hot bath, delicious dinner. There was only one more thing that lay before them. The only question was if they were ready for it. |

| Once in their room, Julian closed and locked the door. He wanted no interruptions. "So, off to bed then?" he asked, looking over to Mary with a small blush. He just wondered how to go about it. He was just too cautious at the moment. | |

| Now she really didn't know what to do. Did she go to dress in her nighttrail, or did she just tear off her gown and lay down on the bed? Was she supposed to be coy, or was she supposed to be alluring and flirtatious? Ugh. Being a wife who was allowed to have sex with her husband was turning out to be harder than she had thought it would be. |

| Julian took a deep breath, walking over to Mary and placing a gentle hand over her cheek. "Don't be nervous, Mary." he said softly, leaning in and kissing her. He closed his eyes, trying to calm himself down and know that this was natural. It was his wife for goodness sakes! He had a right to do so as the husband! | |

| She nodded her head, and then closed her eyes as he gently placed his lips to her's. There was no reason why she should be nervous about this. For goodness sakes, they were married! This wasn't some one night stand between a nobleman and a lady of the night! This was love making between a man and his wife! They loved eachother! |

| Julian laid with Mary on the bed, still keeping his lips over hers. He wanted her as comfortable about this as possible. For some reason this was hard to even do! He wondered if maybe because they waited so long, that now it seems just odd instead of natural? | |

| It would be really depressing if it turned out that the passion was simply gone. As he laid her down on the bed, she groaned gently, wrapping her arms around him and letting her fingers entangle in his soft black hair. They had made love before. There honestly was no reason for them to be so meek towards one another. |

| Exactly, they had made love before, it was very obvious that they could do so again. After all, they were married. Officially they loved each other this time. He sighed in bliss as everything seemed to fall into place. He deepened their kiss, his hands roaming about Mary's body. | |

| A small gasp passed her lips as she gently felt his hands map her body. She genty deepened the kiss, letting herself get lost in the passion. Finally, they could just be theirselves. No more trying to fight what they felt. Everything that mattered at the moment was then and the future. And their love. |

| The night went on and Julian didn't let one single thing go amiss. He was tender to Mary, as if she were silk. He never knew that his world could stop so suddenly and sweetly as when he was one with her, feeling every emotion and every breath. It was sweet torture to him. | |
