He smiled. "Not too much," he promised, taking her hand again. "You can lead the way now, I'll follow right beside you."

Sarah smiled, looking out over the property. "It's such a huge area.. I mean, you've even got woods... Can we go through there?"

"Of course," he smiled and urged the horses towards the woods.

Sarah nodded and slid her hands firmly around the saddle horn, letting NAomi carry her towards the woods. A horse's gestation period was nearly a year long, close to 11 1/2 months. If she judged it right, she'd be giving birth most likely on the same day as her birthday.

Deryk rode alongside her along the dim-lit trail, paying attention to the horses' reactions to any sounds. There might be coyotes in the woods; he wasn't entirely sure.

Sarah stroked Naomi's mane, lulling to her softly in gaelic, the language of the horses. She was extremely diverse in her languages. "Naomi lento... Lento... Non hai nada que temer... Estás seguro..."

They rode the trail with no troubles at all, both horses perfectly calm as they walked.

(*chuckles* That's actually gaelic though, funny huh?)

Sarah smiled. "Naomi, vostede é moi forte..." She chuckled, kissing the mare's head.

[That's so weird! Half of it is spanish and half of it is itallian... o.o AMAZING. It doesn't show up on the translator! There's no gaelic option!]

Deryk smiled and held out his hand. "Where do you want to go now? Or are you ready to get back to the mansion? It's getting rather late."

Sarah shrugged. "I figure we should take these two back to the stables, but I'm not quite ready to back inside yet. It's such a beautiful night..."

He smiled. "Alright," he said, and led the horses back to the stables, taking their saddles and brindles off once they got inside. He put fresh hay in their pens and gave them some fresh water before he dusted his hands off and turned to her, smiling.

Sarah leaned against a support beam, smiling as she watched him work. "Now I know who keeps your animals in such amazing care... You are quite an interesting specimen."

"I'm an interesting specimen," he asked, laughing. "How so? Please, explain," he smiled, looking at her.

Sarah chuckled, walking up next to him. "Well, you're different than anyone I'ev ever known, which makes you interesting. And since I'm not used to people like you I'm bound to watch and study you, which makes you a specimen."

He chuckled. "Alright, then," he took her hand. "Where do you want to go now?"

Sarah chuckled. "Maybe just walk through the garden more? I like the smell of the flowers.."

"Sure," he smiled softly and walked with her through the garden, slowly wasting the time.

Sarah smiled, walking close to him. "So, how long have you had the garden?"

"Quite a few years now, actually. I've lost count," he smiled at her.

Sarah smiled. "Definitely. It's just incredible is all..."

"Thank you," he smiled, squeezing her hand gently.

Sarah smiled, her cheeks a slight pink. "It's not a problem. Your garden reminds me of what this one garden would look like.. Oh what's it's name.. It's the one in the Bible thing.. Where Adam and Eve were put..."

"The Garden of Eden," he smiled. "I'm honored you think so. The Garden of Eden was beautiful and as vast as the eye could see. Not that I would know," he chuckled. "I'm not that old."

"Eden... That's right. Well, your garden is certainly a sight to behold. Didn't they say that it disappeared once Adam and Eve were cast out from there?" She smiled, her eyes twinkling with knowledge.

He smiled. "That's what I've been told," he chuckled softly. "Where did you learn this? Your former masters must have taught you well," he guessed.
