It's a Love Story

"Dad's scared that Pavo might just leave for Italy and not come back for you," Rose murmured. "He doesn't want you getting hurt, but he's going about it the wrong way."

"That's why he sent him away? Daddy doesn't know him...." she said, shaking her head.

"I know. I don't get it, either," Rose sighed.

"Why is he sleeping on the couch?" she asked.

"Him and Mom fought." Jon said from behind her, going into Rosie's room also.

"What?" She asked, "I don't believe it!"

"He even cursed at her," Rose frowned. "Like, to her. Not about something else."

"About me?" she asked, slowly.

"About you being with Pavo," Rose frowned. "Mom was saying that dad was acting like her dad, that's when he got really angry..."

She sighed. "I'm going to go to bed. A wonderful night just turned horrible..." she mumbled, leaving.

"Night, Rome," Rose murmured, sighing sadly. She looked at her brother, wondering what they were going to do.

"It'll be okay." he smiled, hugging his older sister. "Watch, tomorrow morning we'll either see dad in bed with mom again or mom on the couch with Dad."

"I hope so..." she murmured, hugging her brother.

"I promise." he smiled, trying his best to make her feel better.

That morning, Jon went downstairs to find he was wrong. Mike was still on the couch.

Rose went downstairs not long after her brother and frowned sadly, not saying a word, just going to the kitchen to get a bowl of cereal.

"This is bad... I don't think they've slept apart since you wer born." he mumbled, leaning against the counter with some ceral of his own.

"what do we do," she asked her brother quietly.

"I have no idea..." he sighed. "How's Roman? Have you seen her?"

"Not this morning, no... What about Ren?"

"She's sick. I figured to let her sleep a little longer. We get up early during the school year." he shrugged.

"I hope she gets better soon," she said honestly.

"Yeah, me too." he sighed, putting his half eaten cereal on the counter.

She rinsed out her bowl and put it in the sink, then went upstairs to talk to Aiden. maybe that would make her feel a little better.

Ren coughed in her bed, groaning because it made her chest hurt. She felt horrible.

Jon made himself finish his cereal before he went up to Ren. he knocked on the door before opening it. "Ren?" He asked, looking at her seeing she was awake. "How are you feeling?"

"It hurts," Ren groaned, curled up on her side, wincing. "Hurts to cough, hurts to breathe..."

He nodded, going to the side of the bed and crouching down so he could look her in the face. He gently put his hand on her head and sighed. "You're burning up. I'll get you some medcine and some of that tea my mom brought you last night." he said softly, kissing her cheek then leaving again.

Ren nodded and waited for him to come back.
