It's a Love Story

Rosie was finishing up her dinner and looked at Aiden, then at her brother. She smiled, finding the two of them adorable with each other.

Aiden smiled. "I think it's bed time." he said, yawning himself.

Rose nodded, stifling a yawn, herself.

Aiden smiled and looked at their hostess. "Where are we sleeping?" he asked her slowly since he knew she was still learning english.

Dante's mother got up, apologizing in Italian for not paying attention and showed them to their rooms. "Girl," she said in heavily accented English and pointed to the larger room. "Boy," she gestured towards the slightly smaller of the two.

Aiden nodded, smiling. "Thank you." he said in Italian. He had been studying a little for this trip.

His mother smiled warmly and nodded, going out to get her son and Roman.

Dante had turned on his side, holding Roman close in his sleep. Her scent was comforting, and he was easily able to fall into a deeper sleep.

Since Roman was already laying on her side, her forehead was resting on his shoulder. She felt safe and warm in his arms and never wanted to leave.

His mother gently shook his shoulder. "Dante," she whispered. "Dante, time for bed. Let's go inside."

He grumbled something incoherent, pulling Roman tighter against him.

Roman sighed, letting him pull her closer in their sleep.

Seeing that her son wasn't going to wake up anytime soon, she chuckled and went to go get a warm blanket. She draped it over them gently and kissed Dante's forehead. "Sweet dreams, my son," she whispered softly and went inside.

Roman smiled slightly, feeling the blanket being draped over them. She cuddled more into Dante's arms.

The next morning, Dante groaned and hid his face in the blanket as the sun rose, hitting him square in the face. He woke up slowly, realizing they were still outside and under a blanket.

Roman was still asleep, warm under the blaket with him.

He looked down at her and smiled softly. She was so beautiful, his brother had been right about that. She was still in love with him, though. He would be content with being with her like this, to comfort her when she needed it.

Sowly, Roman woke up and saw that she was outside still with Dante. She smiled at him. "Good morning..."
