I did. Was her last thought before she allowed herself to drift off to sleep. When she awoke it was eight o'clock on Christmas morning. A tired yawn passed from her lips as she sat up in bed and looked down at Marcus. She smiled softly and then leaned down to gently press her lips to his. As she pulled away she wasn't sure whether or not to wake him.

" Mmmm" Marcus smiled when she kiss him. " I could go for more of that" he opened his eyes and pulled her down kissing her deeply, " Merry Christmas" he smiled his dreamy smile.

A soft kiss passed her lips as she heard Marcus's dreamy voice and she laughed softly against his lips as he pulled her down to kiss her once more. "Merry Christmas." she said in return, happily nuzzeling him. This was incredibly different then how she had pictured Christmas would be this year. Yawning softly, she rested her head on his shoulder.

"Pretty well." she noted, smiling happily. It had been a considerably goodnight, having finally accepted and admitted her feelings for Marcus. Now that the truth was out, it was as if a large weight were lifted from her and she was finally able to breathe again. It was amazing to say the very least. Sighing gently, she kissed him once more.

Marcus was happy to finally be able to show her how he loved her. He could kiss her all he wanted to. He didn't want to show it physically as much as he wanted to kiss her over and over again. Marcus relized that sex wasn't everything when you had someone to kiss and cuddle. Maybe this was what Lizzy meant years ago. Marcus now knew what she meant and thanked her. He kissed her deeply and stroked her hair " I love you, Jacey"

Jacey smiled softly at him and brushed some of his light brown hair from his deep brown eyes. "I love you too, Marcus." she said back, kissing him back deeply. If someone had told her back when she had first met Marcus that he was going to be the love of her life, she wouldn't have believed them. Now that the curtain had been lifted she was starting to realize that there was no other logical way for her to live her life.

Jacey was fully prepared to spend another half an hour or so cuddeling with Marcus when she noticed the time on her digital alarm clock. "Oh, my goodness!" she gasped, seeing that it was now nine o'clock. She had never stayed in bed so late on Christmas before! Carefully getting up from bed, she reached for her robe and put it on.

Marcus was in mid kiss range when she hopped off the bed in a hurry. he fell face first into the blankets. " Omf"

Jacey gasped and blushed. "Aww, Marcus." she murmured, walking over to the bed and sitting at the side. She gently moved his head and rested it in her lap, caressing his soft brown hair. "Had I known you were going to kiss me I wouldn't have gotten out of bed so fast." she murmured, looking at him with sorry eyes. All in all, it was pretty funny.

Jacey gasped when he pulled her down to kiss her and once against found herself laughing. Marcus was actually a pretty nice and silly guy. "I love you too, Marcus." she said happily, kissing his lips once more. It was nice to feel whole like this, connected with the one that she cared about. Nuzzeling him happily, she then got up once more. "I need to start making breakfast."

Jacey chuckled softly. "Sure." She realized that he hardly had any clothes and she was not sure if any of his old clothes were in a place where he could get them. Darrick had been considerably... harsh when he had asked for her to turn Marcus into a tree. As he stepped into the shower, she started to think about whether or not they should go clothes shopping.

And that scarf that she had just given him for Christmas. Sighing softly to herself, Jacey proceeded to make some pancakes as well as some hasbrowns and sausage. Setting the table, she finally allowed herself to have some coffee and to rethink Marcus's clothes problem and whether or not he realized this as wel. "Hmm..."

Marcus came out and dried himself off. He put his jeans on though he saw his shirt and it was just a mess, dirty and holes everywhere. he threw it away and sighed.

She would have to take him clothes shopping eventually, Jacey knew. But when exactly would she be able to? At least for the day he still had his clothes. Of course she did not know that he no longer had a plausable shirt. It would be interesting to see for the first time. As she waited for Marcus to arrive, she began to prepare their plates for breakfast.

A dark blush lit Jacey's cheeks when she noticed right away that Marcus was going shirtless. "What happened to your shirt?" she asked, her voice uneven and embarassed. It was hard for her to not be suprised by his appearance, though that was not to say that she didn't like it. Her hand was shakey as she put down her mug of coffee and looked thoughtfully at Marcus.

Shaking her head and sighing, she got up and walked over to him and looked about him thoughtfully. "W-we'll have to take you clothes shopping as soon as possible." He literally had not even a shirt on his bacK!

A soft sigh passed her lips and she gently began to kiss him back. Despite everything, even her own embarassment, she couldn't help but show him affection. A year ago when they had made love, it had been a huge impact on her life. She loved Marcus and it was about time that she showed him just how much she did physically. Closing her eyes, she deepend the kiss.
