Of course the overall purpose is mating season within any animal species was to have the woman concieve a child. Clover knew that she didn't want to have any children just yet. They weren't married and were still four months away from graduation high school. Not to mention that she wanted to enjoy her time with Kevin and become closer to him physically with no strings attached.

Clover yawned sleepily and laid back down on the bed. Closing her eyes she nuzzled against Kevin and then took in a gentle breath. While before she had been nervous about becoming mates with Kevin, she knew that it had only helped to make thier relationship grow stronger than ever before. "I love you." she murmured, opening her eyes and looking over at Kevin.

The two both eventually fell asleep and did not wake up until the morning. Carmella and Darrick were out for the weekend on a romantic getaway for their 25th anniversery. Nicky had already moved into a small apartment with Rose a couple of months back which meant that the house belonged to Clover and Kevin. She was currently in the kitchen preparing a romantic breakfast for the two of them.

Once she had finished making the eggs and toasting a couple of slices of bread, she went to go and get Kevin. She chuckled seeing him huddled underneath the blankets of the bed and went over to him to shake him awake. "Hunny," she said softly, gently shaking his shoulder. "Hunny, wake up. I made us some breakfast." "Some" was a bit of an exageration. Clover had made enough food to feed a trio of werewolves.

Clover watched him quietly and began to pick up his shorts and boxers so that she could hand them to him. Somehow having a naked breakfast with Kevin did not seem like the smartest thing to do after finally mating with him the night before. Placing the boxers and shorts on her bed she left the door opened and then retreated to the kitchen to finish setting the table.

He got dressed and headed downstairs yawning as he got hit with the smell of food. He realized how hungry he was.

To finish off the table arrangement Clover plucked a rose from the plant that was on the windowsill and placed it in a glass vase on the table. Smiling contently, she took a seat at the table and waited patiently for Kevin. She felt especially affectionate now and was looking forward to spending the rest of the weekend with him. Who could blame her?

"Hey." she smiled, getting up to give him a quick kiss on the cheek. Going back to her seat she waited for him to sit down before starting to put things on her plate. She had really built up an appetite after last night. Brushing some hair from her eyes she smiled at Kevin and watched quietly as he began to eat. Reaching for the bowl of strawberries, she began to pile them on her plate.

Kevin ate and ate and ate. He didn't realize how starving he was.

Clover was amused by this and ate quietly as she watched him. It was nice to know that she could keep her mate satisfied with her cooking skills. Once she had finished eating she brought her dishes to the sink and began to wash them. Walking back to the table she reached for one last strip of bacon and chewed on it absentmindedly.

Clover chuckled and kissed his cheek. "I'm very happy that you liked it." she smiled, nuzzeling him. With a few quick motions she cleared the table and began to wash all of the dishes and pack away the left over food. With that day, she sat down gently in Kevin's lap and pressed her lips to his. She felt very affectionate at the moment.

Clover remembered how things had been a couple of years ago when her father had first told her that it would be in the pack's best interest if she were to marry Kevin and become his mate. She had of course been against this and had been hellbent on despising Kevin for the future that was being forced upon her. Despite her stubbornness, however, she grew to love Kevin as a friend and even as a lover like how things were now.

Kevin was never a bad guy. He was very quiet and shy mostly. He never forced himself on her.

Pulling away Clover smiled and nuzzled him. "I love you, my mate." she whispered softly, pressing her lips to his once more. Getting up from his lap she lead him into the living room. "Do you want to go somewhere today?" she asked, taking a seat on the arm of the couch. She wasn't sure if she wanted to be around the clan, lest the somehow realize that both her and Kevin were mates. It wasn't exactly something she wanted to flaunt around, especially not infront of her dad.

" Not really. I'm actually still tired from last night" he murmered shyly. It took alot of energy from the male because he was loosing materials during mating. And it left his body tired and his body was working on gaining back what he lost; his sperm; thats why he felt so tired.

"Tired?" Clover murmured softly, looking over at Kevin with a thoughtful look in her eyes. While she didn't want to further question him on why he was tired (mostly because he was a very shy and modest boy), she couldn't understand why she wasn't as tired. It had been just as much work on her that it had been on him, hadn't it? Of course she didn't realize that male's side of the story, nor the fact that last night Kevin had done most of the work while she had sat on his lap.

She raised a brow at this and smiled. "I guess we shouldn't mate anymore then since it takes so much energy out of you." Maybe it was mean her of to tease him about such a thing but she wanted to know if he would fight for it. Obviously she didn't want him to be a sex obsessed pervert, but she did want him to want her to a certain extent, just like any girlfriend would want of her boyfriend.
