A Werewolf's Heart Part 1.3

He thumped his tail on the ground and continued purring/humming happily. 'I love you,' his voice filled her mind softly.

She smiled, nuzzling his fur. She loved how he'd lay like this with her, it made her feel warm, untouchable. "I love you too." she whispered softly in reply.

He smiled and nuzzled her gently. He took a deep breath, letting her scent fill his lungs. How he'd missed her.

"I missed you." she mumbled. She clung to him tighter. "don't ever leave me again."

I won't, my love, he murmured softly to her. I promise. He lifted his head and licked her cheek, then pressed his nose to her lips. You can count on that, he said, looking into her eyes.

She closed her eyes and kissed his nose, going back to nuzzle his fur. "If you lave, I'll hunt you down and kill you." she chuckled.

You'll have every right to. But I won't leave. I can't. You've chained me down, he chuckled softly, nuzzling her.

She smiled and nodded. "That I have." She said.

He smiled and nuzzled her lovingly, then heard a somewhat familiar howl and perked his ears towards the sound. That's the women with their children. Would you like to help me welcome them, he asked.

She sighed. "We'll lay like this later, right?" she asked.

I wouldn't miss it for the world, he nuzzled her lovingly, licking her cheek, and stood.

she nodded, standing also. "You go get them. I'll get my brother granted he isn't locked with Ilane right now." she smirked.

He chuckled and licked her cheek once more before trotting off to go welcome the women with their children. He shifted into his human form as he approached them. "I'm happy to see you've all made it safely. Welcome," he smiled. "Please, follow me. I'll introduce you to the pack." He didn't miss the surprise in their faces as they saw a more gentle, welcoming warrior before them. He also didn't miss the look of lust in the women's eyes as he turned around. He grimaced once he was sure none of them could see his face. Hopefully Sam would believe him when he told her he'd done nothing with anyone but her since he met her. He'd never looked at or touched another woman.

When Sam looked back, she noticed that look of lust. did Brados do something while he was gone? Sighing, she'd remember to ask him later and went to nick. She stood outside their den and sighed. "Nick? Ilane? the members from the other pack have come..."

Nick grunted and sighed. "...Up to you, love," he told Ilane. "Finish now or later?"

Ilane sighed. "I guess we have to finish later..." she moaned.

Nick sighed. "Alright," he kissed her once more before getting up and putting his clothes on.

Ilane also got up, getting dressed.

Sam was waiting outside, watching how Brados handled these new women.

Brados stopped by the fire. "My mate will be back with our alphas soon," he told the ladies, sitting down on a rock.

"Your mate hasn't abjured you," one of them asked, extremely surprised.

"No. She welcomed me back with open arms. As long as I promised not to leave ever again, of course."

Conall snuck up behind Brados in his wolf form and tackled him. Brados bent forward, so his son wasn't thrown back. He chuckled. "I didn't hear you at all. You're getting much better," he smiled, hugging his son, who'd shifted into human form and sat on his lap. Conall smiled up at his dad. "I've been practicing with Kale and Olivia. It's hard, though, with two of them..." Brados chuckled. "You'll get it one of these days."

Sami laughed when Conall tackled his dad then went to get Izzy. She suddenly wanted her baby. Once she came back, Nick and Ilane were coming out of their den. "They're over there." She said.

Ilane took nick's hand, gasping slightly. "There's so many of them..."

Nick held onto Ilane's hand and nodded. "And from what Brados told me, they all had the same mate. Most likely by force," he murmured.

Izzy gurgled happily, giggling. She was just in a good mood. Brados heard his youngest giggle and looked over at them, smiling. "That's my mate and my youngest daughter. This is my son, Conall. And my middle girl is running around here somewhere," he glanced around.

"You let your children run around? Is that safe," one of the women asked.

"I make it my job to make sure the pack is safe from harm. That's why I'd gone in the first place. Now I'm sure it's safe for our kids to run around and play," he smiled, ruffling Conall's hair.

Ilane walked over to them. "Our pack's safe. Anyone who makes it unsafe is punished." she shrugged. That was a fact as much as it was a warning. She wasn't sure if she trusted these women. They came from the bad pack, that behavior wasn't lost.

Kale, being the rambunctious little girl, went up to a boy from the other pack and nudged him. She was in her wolf form and really wanting to play.

The boy immediately shifted into his wolf form and stood on his guard, but stayed frozen. His father had tried to force him to learn how to fight, and he now knew some things, but he was truly a coward, though he tried hard to hide it.

Brados looked over at his daughter. "Kale, sweetie, come here," he told her.

Kale's ears laid flat agaisnt her head and she went to her dad like he said. I only wanted to play... she said softly.

the boys mother bent down, picking him up in his wolf form, he was still small enough for her to do so. "It's okay." she said softly. "She's nice."

Brados relaxed, seeing the mother comforting the boy. He picked his girl up and kissed her forehead. "It's alright, sweetheart. Now's not the time to play anyway. These are our new pack members."

The boy relaxed a little as his mom held him. What about the rest of 'em, Mama? There's so many...
