She blushed and went over to serve Hope her bowl of mac n'cheese got a bowl for herself as well and asked Jess and Chad "Want some? There's obviously plenty."

Chad smiled and shook his head. "Nah. Not hungry right now."

"Sure," Jess smiled and got up to get it for herself.

Hope sat at a desk and ate while Jamie went and sat next to Chad again, smiling and taking a bite.

Chad smiled and laid his arm behind her on the back of the couch, waiting patiently.

"So where are you staying at?" Jamie asked curiously taking another bite.

"I've got an apartment near downtown," he said. "Dad's still living in the old house. He hasn't bothered me since I left - thank god," he muttered.

SHe nodded quietly and planted a kiss on his jawline.

He smiled and kissed her cheek, then chuckled over at Hope. "Slow, down, kiddo. You're gonna turn into mac 'n' cheese."

"But then I'd taste good!" she said with her mouth full.

"Don't talk with you mouth full!!" Jamie told her.

He chuckled. "I'd rather be able to hold you, not eat you," he told his daughter.

"Done now, and I didnt turn into mac n' cheese." she said showing the empty bowl to the both of them before putting it in the sink.

Chad chuckled. "You have quite the appetite," he noted, and patted his lap for her to sit on.

She nodded grinning and sat on his lap.

He smiled. "Yay, you didn't turn into mac 'n' cheese! I can hold you!" he chuckled.

She giggled and yawned cutely

"Is someone getting tired?" Jamie asked.

"Nuuuuu."

He smiled. "I'm getting kinda tired," he yawned and leaned on Jamie, being silly.

"Aww, I'll have to put both of you down for a nap then." she chuckled and ruffled Hope's hair. "Speaking of naps someone hasn't had their nap today have they?"

She groaned burrying her face in her dad's chest rubbing her eyes "I'm not tired..."

Chad chuckled. "You don't want to take a nap with Daddy," he asked hope.

"Why dont you take a nap with daddy in our room? I could get some homework done..." she said kissing Hope's forhead.

"I don't snore that loud, I promise," Chad chuckled softly and gave Jamie a soft kiss before he got up, holding Hope to his chest, and walking back into their room.

She followed in behind them to quickly grab her laptop and her backpack. "Sleep tight." she said softly and closed the door behind them.

He smiled at her and looked down at Hope. "Do you want to sleep in Mommy's bed with me? Or do you want to sleep in your own bed," he asked softly.

I wanna sleep with you." she said "there's room." she said pointing at her bed and getting under the covers to get all snuggly.

"Alright," he said softly and crawled under the covers after her, laying his head on the pillow. He smiled - it smelled like Jamie. "Sweet dreams," he whispered to Hope and closed his eyes.

Hope smiled and nuzzled into him while hugging her bear, she liked this daddy of hers, she really really did. She just wished he came back from Neverland sooner. She yawned once before falling asleep.
