He chuckled. "Sure," he smiled and followed her.

She led her dad into their room, nothing much. Two beds on opposite ends of the room. "This is my bed!" she smiled and pointed to her bed which had a tinkerbell comforter on it with a few stuffed animals. "And this is mom's bed." she said pointing one one that had a comfoter with purple and white flowers on it, she had a few posters hanging up, one of Johnny Depp from Pirates of the Carribean and some other random posters as well.

He chuckled. "It's nice. Very homey," he smiled at Hope.

She sat on her bed and handed him her teddy bear, "This is Willy." she smiled "I've had him forever."

Chad smiled. "Hi, Willy. It's nice to meet you."

She giggled and looked around for something else to show him.

Jamie saw the water start to boil and added in the noodles and smiled softly to herself.

Chad smiled and watched his daughter. He was happy. Truly happy.

Jess bursted into the dorm. "Jamie!!!"

Chad jumped and peeked out of the bedroom door.

Jamie jumped and turned around to face Jess. "Jesus Jess, you nearly gave me a heart attack."

Hope grabbed her daddy's hand and dragged him out to the "living room" of sorts and pointed at Jess, "Thats Jess <3"

Jamie chuckled leaning up against the counter.

Jess grinned. "I love doing that. So, this must be the infamous Chad," she smiled at him.

Chad nodded. "That's me," he offered his hand for her to shake. "Nice to meet you.."

"Jess," she nodded. "Nice to meet you, too."

Jamie blushed when Jess called him "infamous". she turned around to stir the macaroni.

"Is it done yet?" Hope asked.
"Not yet."

Chad smiled and walked over to Jamie. "I can make it," he offered. "I've made many-a boxes of mac 'n' cheese in my day," he chuckled.

"Well it's almost done, the noodles aren't soft enough yet is all." she said blushing a little and letting him take over.

He smiled and kissed her cheek, then smiled over at Hope. "Should I add the miracle whip and tuna for you," he teased her.

"Ewww noooo" she said with a sour expression on her face.

[Actually, it is good. My grandma made the recipe. She calls it Tuna Surprise]

He chuckled. "Alright, I won't add it," he smiled at Jamie happily.

[sounds alright, not exactly my cup of tea though *not a fish fan*]

Jamie smiled and sat on the couch pulling Hope into her lap "So Jess, how was your first day of classes?"

[The miracle whip hides the tuna taste. tuna's basically there for texture.]

Jess sat down in her favorite chair, setting her bag down beside it. "So there's this guy in my anatomy class, and he sits right in front of me. Oh. My. God, he is HOT!!" she gushed.

Chad had a feeling the estrogen level in the room was about to increase to where he'd hardly be able to understand anything. Oh, well.

She chuckled and smiled, "Thats always a good thing, studying someone elses anatomy in anatomy class."

"Is it done yet?" Hope asked her dad. "I'm hungry!!!"

Jess laughed. "I thought so."

Chad chuckled. "Almost."

Jamie just laughed shaking her head.

Chad turned the burner off and strained the macaroni, then mixed in the milk and cheese mix. "We have to let it sit for a few minutes," he told Hope. "Don't want you to burn your mouth."

"Okay." she said

"Stare anyone else?" she asked curiously.

Chad sat down next to Jamie, relaxing.

Jess thought a mintute. "Oh!! How could I be so stupid!? Okay, so there's this other really hot guy. I don't know if he has any classes with me yet, but he said hey to me and I walked into an open door," she grimaced. "He didn't laugh, or anything. He asked me if I was okay, which is good. But oh my god, I felt like such a...dummy," she said, keeping in mind that Hope was on her mom's lap.

"Youre just blessed with hot guys left and right aren't you?" Jamie laughed and told Hope, "Hun, I bet you mac n'cheese is cooled down enough now. Just a sec and I'll get you a bowl."

"Okay" she said hopping off her mom's lap.

Jamie smiled and kissed Chad. "Me? Now I'm blessed to have you back in my life again."

Chad smiled and kissed her back. "I think it's the other way around, love," he said softly.
