" I slept great" He smiled happily at her. " Thank you for breakfast" he smiled.

"It's not problem at all." she smiled softly. Grabbing the two plates from the table she placed them in the sink and began to wash the dishes. Soon she would shower and would need to leave this small patch of Heaven and return back into the dreary realm of the real world. When she had finished with the dishes she walked over to the bathroom to shower.

He sighed. He didn't want her to leave. H wanted her to stay and be with him.

It would have been nice to stay with him, but she had a life outside of this small world that they had created together. She had a fiance and two parents who expected her to marry said fiance. Undressing she stepped into the shower and let the warm water wash over her body. While she wanted to spend the rest of the day cuddeling with him (considering she was feeling rather emotional and close since she had given him her innocence) she knew that she would be expected at home to go over even more boring details for the wedding.

Danny sighed as he thougth about just convince her to runaway with him. How romantic would that be?

As Jenny was stepping out of the shower she remembered that Reginald had told her a few days before that he would not be able to go with her to try out samples for their wedding cake. It seemed like a good excuse to bring someone along, namely Danny. With a soft smile she dried off and dressed, soon leaving the bathroom to ask Danny if he would escort her during the day while she ran her erands.

What she probably didn't realize is that while it might be nice to have him there at the cake testing it would really be a stab in the back.

Why was it a stab in the back? While it wasn't for the best of reasons, it was still something that they could both enjoy. Jenny wanted to spend time with him. It couldn't be helped that she was being forced to marry another man. Didn't it matter that she wanted to be with him while she still had the chance to? This wasn't her choice to marry Reginald.

He knew it wasn't her choice. It still didn't take away the saddness that she woule never be his.

Jenny knew that it wasn't the most romantic date, taking her lover with her while she ran erands for her wedding. It was better than being apart from him, however. She didn't want to run this errands, but she needed to. Even if she wanted to she couldn't ignore her wedding; It was going to happen whether or not she liked it. At least she could do all that she could to enjoy the time with him that she had.

Why did some guys have all the luck? This so called man who was marrying her had no clue who he was marrying or how wonderful the woman was.

A tired sigh passed from her lips as she looked over at Danny with a small smile. "So what do you say, Danny? Do you want to go? I know it isn't the best of reasons to go out with me, but we can still have fun. You might even get to see my dress." She wasn't sure if that last part had helped or had made things a lot worse in her case.

Danny wanted to say no but he felt like he was obligated and he didn't want to be without her even if he had to get used to a drink called lonelyness. " Sure"

Jenny smiled and then kissed his cheek. "Thank you." Normally the erands that she had to run for the wedding were boring and seemed pointless to her. If it were a happy marriage both her and Reginald would be there trying things out together, but it wasn't. It was a marriage of convienence and neither of them were trully happy. Leaving the apartment with Danny, she was at the parlor within half an hour.

Danny wanted to stop her. He wanted to just grab her shoulders and tell her to not go through with it to runaway with him and he would make her wildest dreams come true. But would she listen to him?

Nothing could be done about it. Sitting down at the table in the parlor, she watched as the kindly old woman went to get the different samples of wedding cakes. Jenny knew that Danny probably wasn't enjoying the thought of picking out things for her wedding that she would have to enjoy with another man. At least she hadn't told him about the lingerie shopping she would have to do later that day. With a smile she watched as the woman placed down the platter of cakes and then began to sample them with Danny.

Danny wasn't enjoying this shopping at all. He didn't say anything though.

He didn't have to say anything, she could tell that he was unhappy. "At least try and smile." she urged. "And try this one." She did want to at least have some fun with him. "It's chocolate," she added. All she wanted was to see him smile, even if it was a small smile and even if it were only for a little bit. "It's really good."

Danny tried it " Seems really sweet." he said gently. " Kinda hurts my teeth."

"Well, which piece did you like the most?" she asked, looking over at the samples that he had tried. Jenny hadn't liked the sample she had given him too much, though she had wanted to get him to talk and perhaps even smile. It seemed fruitless, though. How could she possibly expect him to smile when they were picking out a wedding cake for her marriage to another man?

" I'm not much of a cake person. Forgive me. I'm not much use." he said looking away and out the window.

She breathed in and then sighed, looking away from him. "You said that your dream was to eventually leave and find a wife. That would mean that you would have to get married. If you don't like cake than what will you serve at the wedding reception?" Jenny knew that she was playing with fire, but she wanted him to stop being so quiet and sulky, it wasn't going to solve anything.

" On that day, on the day me and my bride wed we will have a cake and I will eat it. But that day isn't Your wedding day." He said as he put a cigarette inbtween his lips.

She turned around and looked at him with deviant eyes and took the cigarette from between his lips. Letting it dangle from her mouth she lit it and then took a small drag before speaking, her eyes having never left his. "... I want you to come." Jenny whispered. She didn't know what it would do to him or if he would even go, but she wanted him to be there at her wedding.

" I will see. I can't make any promises" He muttered.
