Ain't Nothing We Can't Handle, Baby - Private-

Danny woke up finally and yawned. " mmmmmm" he stretched. He sat up and pulled the blankets off. He put his legs on the side of the bed and stood up scratching his stomach. He had a underwear tank on and underwear. He grabbed socks, underwear, and a clean tank and headed to the shower. Once out of the shower he was shaven and his hair combed. He groggily made his way downstairs. He didn't feel like getting dressed today. Not unless he had to, like if his wife wanted to go out shopping.

Jenny was already dressed and ready to go for the day. Once she had finished setting the table and preparing breakfast she was waiting patiently for her husband. The both of them had been rather emotional and intimate after her announcement that she was pregnant and that they would be expecting their first child in March. She smiled at the memory and calmly took a sip of her tea.

" Morning" he yawned as he stepped into the kitchen. One day he would see a kid running up to him to greet thier dad. He was going to be a dad. He sat down and stretched his arms " looks good, love." he smiled and kissed her cheek.

"I'm glad that you think so." she smiled, pouring him a cup of coffee. Jenny knew that he was ecstatic as the thought of being a daddy and could only imagine what he would be like when the baby was born. One hand rested on her stomach while she ate as she thought about the baby and all that was instore for them in the future.

Danny began to eat his breakfast thinking of the baby's arrival. He realized he had alot to do before thier bundle of joy came into the world.

"I would like to try to help and raise money for the baby." she said quietly, pushing aside the eggs on her plate. "I was thinking that I could start to offer piano lessons to the children town, even adults if there are any takers." Slowly Jenny was trying to make her own dream become a reality. "What do you think?" she asked after what felt like a very long time.

" well I suppose but I mean its not nessisary...." he said gently

He seemed to hesitate as he spoke and Jenny found that she did not appreciate his skepticism. Had he not told her that it was important that she pursue her dreams lest she regret it later on in her life? "What do you mean it isn't necessary?" She had gone from leaving in a house to living in an apartment. How was making more money not necessary? Especially when there would be one more body underneath their roof?

" I'm not saying you can't. I just don't want you to overexert yourself. " he said rubbing her back gently.

Jenny pouted despite herself and shook her head. Feeling his strong hands smoothing out the kinks in her shoulders was able to coax a small smile upon her lips. Sighing gently, she rested against him and then breathed in. "I need to work. For my own self, I just have to." She had never worked a day in her life and she wanted to now.

" If you are sure" he said gently

With a smile and a promise that everything was going to be alright Jenny began to give lessons to the children in town. Within a couple of months she had six students who she thoroughly enjoyed being with. She watched six days a week, two hours a day and made decent enough money considering the bad economic times. It was late Friday afternoon when her lesson for the day had ended. "Goodbye, Joshua. Keep practising." she said, bidding her student goodbye. With a soft sigh she sat back on the arm chair and rested her hands on her stomach, which was now clearly gave away to her pregnancy.

Danny came in with a cup of soothing hot tea. " These practices are wearing you out more and more. The baby is taking alot of your energy." he said gently.

"Not at all." Jenny answered back, genuinely meaning it. For once in her life she was serving a purpose and had something to do. It meant a lot to her whenever she saw her studnets and she enjoyed seeing the happy looks on their faces when they had completed a lesson. "I'm really enjoying it." Finally her dream was coming true. "I think the baby likes it too." she added, smiling.

He smiled softly and came over and rubbed her swollen belly. "Do you want me to relax you in bed tonight" he asked. Some nights they made love he noticed it seemed to help her relax.

Jenny blushed softly and nodded her head. "Yes." she whispered softly. Taking a sip from the cup of tea he had brought her, she got to her feet (with some great effort) and walked into the kitchen to start to prepare dinner. Her ankles were starting to swell now and she was still learning how to try and make the best of the pregnancy. At least in the end she would have a beautiful child with Danny.

"Soon" he said gently rubbing her shoulders in the kitchen.

She blushed softly and closed her eyes as she felt his soothing hands on her aching shoulders. Jenny wasn't exhausted from her piano lessons, but she was generally exhausted from the pregnancy. It did take a lot out of her some days. Sighing, she opened her eyes and offered him a soft kiss before getting the cooking pot and placing it on the stove. She was going to make spaghetti.

Danny stroked her hair gently. " My friend at work told me by the way you're carring the baby you can tell the gender. " he said " I was wondering if that was true."

Jenny listened to this with slight interest. "Hmm," she murmured. She recalled hearing her mother saying something like this back when she had been engaged to Reginald and her mother had been going on about the two having children. Jenny shuddered at the thought of being in bed with Reginald and then carrying his children. She then rested her hand on her stomach and smiled.

Danny kissed her cheek gently. " I don't care what gender, really, its just the matter of fact that its our baby. We made him or her out of love." he smiled

Jenny smiled at him and then gently kissed him. She had always been repusled by the thought of carrying Reginald's children and she knew that back when she had been engaged to Reginald Danny had felt the same way. Now they were living a happy life and she was carrying their first child. They had stepped away from the path life had set for them and created a dream.

Even if times were tough he would never have chosen a different path. this was the best path.

Jenny smiled softly as she walked back over to the pot of boiling water. Putting in the uncooked spaghetti she then turned back to Danny. "Have you thought of any names that you like?" she asked, resting her hands on her stomach. She had a suspicion that the child was going to be a girl and she liked the names Mary, Abigail and Lily.

" Well a few. The guys at work have been giving some ideas too. For a boy there is John, Nigel, Jacob, Phillip, Darrell. For girls, Nicole, Susan, Emily, Rose. "
