Conall gurgled happily at her. Brados smiled warmly down at his boy. "Your momma's a great woman. You be sure to behave yourself for her," he chuckled softly.

Raini stared at the spot where he'd disappeared. "Al..." she mumbled through her tears and looked back down at his body.

Sam smiled and nodded. She wasn't going to argue what what true.

Ilane went over to her. "RAini... You're going to have to let go of his body sooner or later." She whispered, sitting next to her.

Conall cooed happily, having no idea what his father had just said. He was just happy to see them both with smiles.

"I don't want to let him go," she whispered sadly. "You'd do the same thing if it were Nick..."

Sam smiled, happy she had be baby boy.

"Yes, I would clinging and balling my eyes out and either you or Sam would be here telling me the same thing I'm telling you." she said softly.

Brados chuckled and nuzzled Sam gently, carefully handing her sun back to her so he could hold her and she could feed Conall.

The boy gurgled happily, waving his little hands in the air.

Raini burried her face in Al's chest again, a sob caught in her throat. "He's cold..."

Sam smiled taking her son and then taking her sons hands as he looked at them. She smiled more and kissed them.

Ilane nodded, letting some tears fall. "I know Raini..." she said... she really didn't know what else to say.

Conall squealed happily and cooed. Brados smiled happily, taking his feet and blowing raspberries on them, making him squeal more in laughter.

"Why did it have to be Al," Raini asked through more sobs. "Why him?"

Sam laughed and held her baby up carefully and she rasberried his belly.

"I don't know Raini... I really don't." She said softly.

Conall continued to squeal with laughter, squirming in his mother's arms.

"It's not fair," she cried, shaking her head into Al's cold, stiff chest. "Not fair..."

She laughed, holding him close.

"I know it's not.. But, you'll always have a part of him. In the kid that you're having now." she said softly.

Brados chuckled and nuzzled Sam. "He's definitely a happy boy," he murmured happily. "You think he'll ever smile," he asked sarcastically, joking.

Raini nodded, sniffling. "He wanted it to be a girl... He wanted to name her Olivia..."

"No, I don't think he ever will." she smiled, teasing back.



"Then hopefully you'll get tat." she said softly.

Brados chuckled and nuzzled her softly, tickling their boy's belly gently, making him squeal again.

Raini nodded and wiped her eyes. She was still sad, but she was hungry and she had to live for her baby.

Sam smiled, holding her baby close. She'd never been happier.

Ilane held her hand out to Raini. "Come with me. Let's see Sam's baby."

Brados kissed Sam's cheek. "What about you, love? Will you ever smile again," he chuckled softly.

Raini nodded slowly and took her hand, standing up.

She thought for a moment then turned her head and kissed Brados' cheek. "I think I'll smile again if you smile."

Ilane smiled warmly at Raini then walked out of the den, nodding to two other pack mates to take care of Al's body to bury him.

Just then, Kendal, Brados' younger brother went into their camp in his wolf form, his ears down. He was within sight of Brados.

Brados smiled and kissed her softly. When he looked around, seeing Ilane walk out of Raini's den, he also caught sight of his younger brother in his wolf form. Brados growled, hovering protectively over Sam and Conall. "What do you want, Kendal," he demanded. "We've had enough damage done here."

Raini walked out with Ilane, staring down at her feet. She froze when she heard Brados' growl, stepping closer to her sister-in-law in fear.

Kendal whined. 'I'm sorry brother. I was hoping i could join this pack as you have.' he said softly.

Raini stood infront of Raini, she seemed to be scared and wanting protection. She'd make sure she got Raini away if needed.

"I'm not the alpha, little brother. That's not my decision," Brados told him in a calmer tone, though still hovering over his most loved ones protectively.

Rika came into the clearing in her wolf form, growling angrily. 'Who the hell are you," she snapped at him. 'Haven't we had enough death!?'

"This is my younger brother, Rika," Brados told her. "He wants to join the pack."

"Why did he come in his wolf form,' Rika growled at the younger brother.

'I run faster in my wolf form.' he said then changed into his human form. He was smaller than Brados and very handsome. "I mean you and the pack no harm, please... I'm tired of the rouge ways of my old pack. I am sorry that they came through, I see many of you are dead. Please, let me help and let me stay."

Brados stood and walked over to his brother, looking into his little brother's eyes to see if he was telling the truth. He was. "Rika, I take full responsibility for my little brother. If he harms any member of the pack, I will take the blame," he said.

Rika looked at Brados, surprised. "Alright. You can stay," she told his younger brother.

"I'm surprised you didn't abandon them before me," Brados admitted to his brother. Kendal always had been gentle and submissive, where Brados had been violent and angry. Brados now felt horrible for how he'd treated his "baby brother" in the old pack. He wanted to make it up to him.

"To be honest, I was scared to." He said softly. He really was submissive.

Conall, who was looking in their direction curiously gurgled as he saw his daddy walking back towards them.

Kendal nodded, looking over at Raini. She was pretty and looked heart broken, something must have happened to her mate. "I'll meet him in a minute." he said to Brados. "I think I need to do something." He said, going over to Raini and getting on his knees in front of her. "I am sorry for the loss you have received. Please, let me help with anything you need." He said, looking up at her.
