A Midnight Breed Rp

Dameon sighed softly, ".....I love you." he turned to catch up. It was hard for him to be away from that building now. Before he wanted to get out of it as much as possible but now...everything was differnt. He was her mate and he needed to be there to protect her.

"She'll be fine," Diz told Dameon through his earpiece. Diz rarely went topside. He was always at the computer when the rest of them were hunting Rogues, just in case they needed him. Plus, he was the last line of defense if something had happened (though it was a very, very, VERY slim chance) to get inside headquarters. It was his job to protect the girls while the others were gone.

"I'm just worried and anxious. " he sighed nodding.

"Don't worry about it. She's got me, Crystal, and Sammy to keep her company and help her if she needs it," Diz assured him. "She'll be fine. Sammy's on her way to your room now to introduce herself and invite her to breakfast."

" Ok" He said softly.

Iris looked at the door as someone knocked on it, and went to answer it. She was surprised to find a woman smiling at her.

"Hi, I'm Sammy. You must be Iris. I'm Chase's mate."

She nodded. "Yeah, hi. It's nice to meet you," she smiled, shaking the hand that was offered to her.

"Crystal and I were just about to grab some breakfast. You're welcome to join us. Go ahead and get dressed, I'll wait here for you. We'll give you the grand tour afterwards," she smiled.

Iris returned the smile. "Sure, thanks. I'll be right out," she promised and got dressed quickly, then followed Sam to the parlor.

"Any signs of them?" he said to his teamates.

"None yet," Luke said, scanning his surroundings as he drove. "We might have to go on foot soon. They might have found their way inside a bar or something."

"I still think they're heading to the country" he said.

"Dameon's hunches are usually right," Diz pointed out.

Luke nodded. "Lead the way," he told his leader.

" we can check the bar but tomarrow lets pack up and go for an all night country hunting. " he suggested. " Tonight its too cold for anyone to be outside."

Drew blinked. "Pack up? Does that mean we're gonna stay during the day? We'll fry."

" I said night. Did I not?" he said.

"Then why are we packing," Drew asked. "Not bringing the girls with us, are we?"

" We're packing for a trek out in the country. I ain't getting shot by some redneck who thinks I'm some albino Opossum."
Dameon said. " We're not taking our girls with us..." he said finding he liked being able to say our girls now. He had a mate after all these years. " Its too dangerous. We're scouting the countryside tomarrow night. packing some suppilies and we're going old fashion hunting." he said.

Drew laughed in excitement, and humor. "Albino opossum," he chuckled.

"Focus, Drew," Luke told him, growing impatient. "We'll plan tomorrow later. Keep an eye on your surroundings."

" We'll search the bars for any lead ons. And then we're go back to the base. The cresent moon is coming soon" he noted.

"Why are you pointing out the phase of the moon," Drew asked.

Luke pulled into a parking lot of a busy bar. If he didn't find a Rogue in there, then he could find something to drink.

[Sorry, can't stay on long. Just got up and we leave for the game in two and a half hours.]

" Just saying is all" Dameon shrugged.

"Weird," Drew shrugged, pulling in behind Luke.

Luke walked into the bar, scanning the crowd.

" Why is it weird' he said.

"You never noticed the phase of the moon before," Drew murmured into his headset.

" Uh well........" he said not knowing h ow to explain to them

Drew chuckled. "Eager to have kids? Never knew you were the type."

"Stop bugging him. We have work to do," Luke muttered.

Dameon rubbed the back of his neck uncomfortably. " Well....I'm getting on in years......."
