| He hoped he would do the best he could with an infant. Though he was pouring over tons of parenting books. Especially for fathers. He was winging it with Jason though it was easier with jason because he was verbal and could tell him how he felt. With a baby that was totally different. You had to be a figure of comfort and safety for the first months and then go from there into their toddler years where foundation had to start such as manners and behavoir. Jason came to him like a prewrapped christmas present. | |

| Christmas morning came and went and between all of the action figures and comic books that Jason was given of course his favorite gift was learning that he was going to be a big brother. Now a couple of weeks later Jason was helping them shop for items for the nursery and trying to look for unisex unsies since they didn't know what the gender of the baby would be just yet. |

| Jason danced around the baby section looking at everything. " Mommy, Look at those pretty dresses! what if my baby sibling was a girl, She would look so pretty in those dresses!!!!!" He said excitedly. Dom chuckled and ruffled his hair " If the baby is a girl I think we'd have no trouble with you protecting her." " Yes cause I'm gonna be a good big brother." he said happily. | |

| "You have very good taste, Jason." Molly chuckled, looking over at the dresses. The only problem with baby clothes was that they were grown out of so quickly, especially in the first year. She wanted to buy more than half of the clothes that they saw but she knew that within a couple of months the baby, boy or girl wouldn't fit them. "How about we look at the toys?" They had already picked out a couple of onesies with teddy bears and ducks on them. "Once we know the gender we'll do some more clothes shopping." |

| Jason looked at a cute hat. " I want the baby to be a girl mommy." He said fondly. " She'll look so pretty in these clothes =3 oo at christmas she could have her own little christmas party dress ^_^ " he then joined back up with them to look at toys. Jason chuckled and watched the happy big brother to be look at the boy stuff as well not being bias to one gender. " Or a boy,... we could play all sorts of fun games like trucks in the sandbox ^^ or I can have a sidekick when I play Super hero! Then Dad will have a harder time being the villain cause there will be two of us.... hm.... well if he was a she then she could be super girl or something of that nature.... I'm too excited v.v " he sighed " why do we have to wait sooooo long to find out the gender." He pouted and picked up a cute little stuffed duck." Ngh.... ooo dinosaur..." he picked up a stuffed Triceratops. " Lets get this!" | |

| Molly could understand that a lot of his excitement stemmed from the desire to have a family. While he and his mother had done well for the most part those first eight years she had always seen that deep down he wanted the family that his friends had with a mom and a dad as well as a brother and sister or two. She chuckled seeing the stuffed triceratops and decided to humor him, "Sure, Sweetie." |

| Jason put it in the cart and looked at a race car set that was neat. He admired it but he then moved on to see more of the baby toys rather then the big boy toys. He got alot of fun toys for christmas so he figured he didn't need another race set. He had 3 different ones. He just admired it was all. | |

| She looked over at Dom who was also charmed by their well mannered child. Despite everything however she still wondered if Jason would be jealous of the baby when it was born. It was one thing to be excited for the baby but how would he react when he saw that he had less of his parents attention? That would be hard to react to especially after eight years of having his mother's undivided attention. |

| Molly wanted to say that she would still be there for him to talk to but still she wasn't sure what it would be like to have a little boy and a baby. Sure she would now have Dom's help but it would still be hard. She didn't want Jason to feel negelected but she also didn't want to actually neglect the baby who would be highly dependent on her for the next few years. |

| Molly went into the kitchen to prepare a late lunch for her two boys who she knew were thoroughly exhausted. They had already purchased a stroller, crib, diaper table and several toys (including the triceratops) for the baby to play with. Eventually she walked out of the kitchen with two plates with sandwiches and chips on the side. She couldn't always make gourmet meals. |

| Molly set the table with colorful napkins and paper plates before calling in the boys. Her stomach was much larger now and she wasn't as bubbly as before, not wanting to cook or put as much work in table arrangements. Pouring herself a cup of coffee, she sighed and took a sip before taking a seat at her usual spot at the table. |

| Dom came in and carried Jason. Jason giggled. Dom sat down and drank his coffee. | |

| After a nice lunch between the family Molly left to do her daily excercise. While she acknowledged the doctor's request that she pace herself and realize that she was also feeding the baby the both had been able to agree that she should still stick to an excercise regime, albeit a much smaller one. |

| Dom took Jason outside to play. Dom let Molly do her thing at this time of day. This left him and Jason to have a nice bonding time together and get some fresh air. | |

| (I assumed they were already married.) The delievery didn't go as smoothly as planned. For one, Molly had been pouring Jason a bowl of cereal when her water had broke, a week early. She was quickly rushed to the hospital after having Jason dropped off at a friends house. After several excruciating hours of labor there was a new baby in the world. |

| Dom had been called at work that his wife had gone into labor. Of course this set Dom in a tizzy as he rushed his class and the notes on the board didn't make sense tot the class. The Principle came to relieve the poor man. Dom was soon by her side in the course of the delivery taking all the yelling and swearing and what not. But after the baby was brought into the world all that seemed like years behind them as they laid eyes on their second baby. The first baby dom would get to raise from the first day of its life. " She's so beautiful Molly." He smiled happily. | |

| Molly was exhausted, her hair plastered to her forehead from sweat. Breathing in heavily she forced herself to sit up a bit in the bed and looked over at the pink, crying bundle that Dom was holding. She offered a weak, but genuine smile and nodded her head. At that moment she was too tired to bring the words to her lips to explain her happiness, though she was sure that at least the baby could tell that she was loved. In the time that it took for the nurses to get down the name for her daughter and then have her taken to the nursery Molly had fallen asleep. |

| Dom tucked Molly in and took Jason to McDonalds then to go see his baby sister. Jason was very excited. He got the baby sister he wanted very much. " she's pretty dad!!!!!!" He squealed looking at her through the glass. " I wonder if she will love her dinosaur...." he pouted. " Oh I'm sure she will love any present her big brother gives her." he smiled. " You think so?" Jason asked. " i know so" he said | |

| (What should we name her?) Although the little baby was in her baldy days there was a few tufts on red hair; She would look like her mother. The baby was too tired to move around or be cute like the other babies were, yet she wasn't exactly sleepy. Breathing in she squinted at the glass, up at the two people, though right then they just seemed like scribbles in a coloring book. |

| ( Hmmm Nicole? Annie? Katelyn? Rose? Maddie?)
" I can't wait to see her when there isn't a wall of glass preventing me to kiss her cheeks. " jason said. Dom chuckled and ruffled his hair. | |
