Life is just a soap opera remake. Private

Dom had everything he wanted. He had her and his son.

Between decorating the house (which was now a winter wonderland top to bottom) and helping Dom move into the house and into her bedroom she hardly had any time to think of what to get him. She was also busy making Christmas cookies and singing carols with the church choir. The world was awash in white crystal snow and peace.

Jason was so excited that his Dad was moving in with them. Of course Dom still made time for him and Molly to have thier bedroom romances. They usually had sex 3 times a week.

Were they keeping count now? It seemed like much more than that, though after not getting any for nearly eight years it was easy to see why she would think that. The old box of condoms had finally been thrown out and they normally tried out different condoms each time they ran out, though one or two times they had forgotten. Lately Molly was starting to feel sick and she was worried she had caught the flu.

Dom usually lost count anyways. She was too good in bed to remember how many times they've made love. He didn't care how many times he just knew he only wanted to share a bed with her. Sometimes he would forget a condom when they made love. He didn't think a few times without one would make a difference.

Molly was a bit slower with her work, tiring out a bit quicker than usual. Not to mention she was suddenly a lot hungrier. She would go to the gym more often, especially since she had gained five pounds. Still, she was sick, especially in the mornings when she would have to run to the bathroom. For the most part she kept this secret from Dom and Jason.

Dom was busy with grading so he didn't notice this yet.

No matter how many times she went to the gym (and she was starting to go twice a day) she couldn't seem to lose the weight that she had gained. She felt a bit heartbroken though at least she hadn't outgrown any clothes yet. During this time she felt a lot of deja vu as if she had gone through this before.

Jason was getting increasingly excited for christmas and Dom couldn't wait for a break.

As Molly was starting to get more ideas of what to get for Dom she was also curious to know what he was getting her. At one point she had gotten very close to getting Jason to admit something big though Dom had gotten home just in time to take Jason up to his room and then distract her with some afternoon delight.

Dom was starting to notice Molly's behavor towards certain scents and even in sex her breasts felt different, more swolen. then when he was teasing her thighs his hand had felt her lower abdomen. it was a little hard.

Molly would notice the weird look in his eye that he would get and she would work even harder at the gym, starting to feel self conscious. A few times lately she had even turned down sex, feeling uncomfortable in her skin and starting to wear baggier pajamas to hide herself from him. When she had moved up a bra size she all but had a heart attack.

Dom noticed on their shopping list that a certain monthly item wasn't there this week. he usually knew when she had her cycle. "Molly... don't you need you know whats this month?" it was weeks late

"Huh?" she asked, looking away from the TV Guide Menu. "No, not yet." she answered absentmindedly, scrolling down a list of cliche Christmas movies and specials that she and Jason watched every year to the point that she knew certain ones word for word. "Probably will come in a few days." She shrugged it off, not having worried about pregnancy since her pregnancy scare with him back in the early summer.

"um... hunny.... your calendar says you're 4 weeks late,,, last time you were 4 days late.......hunny,,,, i think you're pregnant" dom bt his lip gently

"No I'm not." she answered, not even batting on eye. She clicked on It's a Wonderful Life and watched as the story unfolded infront of her eyes. "Maybe it's just instinct or something but I'm pretty sure I know my body a little better than you, regardless how many times you've... explored it." Chuckling a bit she reached for her cup of coffee and took a sip.

"... I'm a science teacher. I know about meiosis" he went upstairs hurt she didnt take him seriously.

Molly sighed when Dom got up from the couch and she reluctantly got up to follow him. Since he had moved in they hadn't really had any fights or done anything to offend one another but whenever they did it always put her in unease. "Dom?" she said, knocking on the door and walking in. "I'm sorry I laughed at you. I really don't think I'm pregnant but if you want I'll buy a test..."

Dom sighed as he began to explain other reasons as to why he thought she was.

She put up her hands to silence him and sighed. "Look, I know that things have been a little weird lately... and thanks for mentioning my hips getting wider," she added dryly, self consciously resting her hands on her hips, "and I understand why you think that. Like I said, I'll go down to the drug store right now and pick up a test."

He sighed and nodded

Molly had decided that it be best that he stay at home with Jason while she went on her own to pick up the test. As she grabbed her coat and purse she sighed softly to herself and wished she could do something to make him smile. He just seemed so lost and unhappy and she wondered if it was the thought of having another child that was making him feel that way. After kissing his cheek she drove off, wondering if he would want her to have an abortion.

The only thing that was making him sad was her attitude about it. He felt she wasn't taking him really seriously. He kissed her back and told her to be safe.

Molly just couldn't believe that there was a possiblility that she was pregnant. Sure she had taken it pretty hard when she'd had her pregnancy scare with Dom a few months back but now that she was finally getting used to a new life with him and Jason the thought of a new baby left a bad taste in her mouth. It wasn't that she didn't want the baby, she just wasn't sure if her family was ready for it yet.

It would be a very new change but they could do it.
